Me and my dad often come here for their meal for two deal which includes roast duck, salad or soup, veggies, two sides, and a dessert. The atmosphere is that of a family diner nothing super fancy. A comfortable environment with good food and friendly staff.
Its cheap food thats ok nothing special the place is old, the carpet is dirty, it smells, and the atmosphere seems like they never moved on or improved the place

Dying breed of middle of the road diner in Nassau. Most have gone high end to cater to the next generation. Most are just closing up. Guessing margins are much more challenging.Give this place a visit. Help keep places like this around.
Another great breakfast with friends here! Very attentive management - they walk around and engage diners. Meal was hot and tasty. Staff very attentive with coffee and water. Out server Donna was gracious and attentive checking in on us regularly. Delightful Sunday morning meal!
Ive been going to this diner for years, but I moved away. Coming back to it while I was visiting in the area again was an amazing experience. I saw the same friendly faces and felt so happy. Baldwin Coach Diner is and will continue to be my favorite diner. The food is amazing and tbe atmosphere is so calming.

I was w a friend for dinner. She is a regular there and they appeared to know her. Very friendly and polite staff.I have been there before the pandemic, as I was alone for Christmas and Easter.They had a good variety for the holiday menu and there was a good sized group in the diner as well.😃😇

Food was lousy fries we served burned, chicken tenders were hard as a rock. Chicken noodle soup was like an instant mix soup not a home mix soup wasted of money will never go back there me and my daughter were very unhappy !!!!

I went w my friend who suggested it. It is an older looking, but clean and efficient diner w an excellent variety of food on their menu.Also I enjoyed being there, because the hostess and employees were very polite and the service was quick. Also I had a chance to.practice my Spanish a little, as there was some nice Spanish waiters.😀. The prices were reasonable, and the food was fresh.
The service is fantastic, Maria was lovely. The food is some of the best in the area, and take it from a local, if youre visiting, its where the locals eat.

Ive been coming here since I was born. I love this place. Me and my friends ordered it during the quarantine but it got to us within an hour, but I understand that, and the food was delicious.
The lady that waited on us saw we had two very young kids and didnt understand we were ordered from the kids menu, then I ordered a BLT lightly toasted and it was well toasted the bacon wasnt cooked all the way I wont go back

The food was halfway decent but dessert was horrible it says made from scratch it certainly did not look that way and if it was it was not well made it wasnt cooked all the way the service was a little slow but you know the folks there are old so while Im guessing thats why halfway recommended this place halfway

Very polite, and very clean. fast food and plenty of it. good pricing, very family-friendly, handicap parking, handicap accessible tables, handicap bathroom facilities, very pleasing decor, safety barriers, masks needed, hand sanitizer available, TV and music. A good choice to stop in for something to eat or just a cup of coffee for the road.

Great place to eat. My hambuger was really good, that I ate practically all of it. Clean, but could use a bit of a remodel on the inside. Maybe spruce it up with some updated looks and some color. Overall, decent the price you pay for your food.

I wanted a fruit salad, thank goodness the waiter let me know it mostly canned fruit. Like what? Really. So I opted for a regular salad like it was iceberg lettuce nothing attractive about it at all. Take the extra two minutes and drive to Imperial Diner in Freeport. They never disappoint. What was I thinking!

My last visit there was good, the food was excellent and they are moderately priced for a Diner. The Servers are usually courteous and do their job well. I cant think of any time that I have been there thats a food has not been excellent! I really have nothing bad to say about this Diner!

I love the Coach Diner. Ive been eating there for nearly 40 years. It something straight out of Mayberry or the Gilmore Girls. The food is always fresh and made to order. The staff has been there for years and treats you like family. Some folks eat 3 meals a day there. Even the patrons are friendly. Its like old home week.They have the best spinach pie ( the owners are Greek ) and theyre short ribs on Thursdays are fantastic. You have to preorder it because it goes so fast. Go give the Couch Diner a try, youll love it.

I go for breakfast a couple times a month. The sausage is usually GREAT with the exception of the last time I went (It was over cooked or old). The home fries are usually not edible because they are overcooked, burnt or dried out. Everything else tastes great. Coffee is good. The service is always great. Employees are very nice. Food is reasonably priced.

Patronized after Sunday morning service (10.14.17) and was seated and served nearly immediately. The food (Turkey Burger) was very good and the young lady was beyond courteous. I wouldnt go out of my way (since there is a wonderful diner in my neighborhood); but it truly is a nice place!
Food, prices, service ok. No problem. Outside of the diner needs to be refurbished. I think they would get more business if it looked better from the highway. It would not take much to fix up. Second thoughts. We heard some things about the kitchen that didnt sound good to us. So we will not be going back Decide for yourself
The Baldwin Coach is a place Ive been going to for YEARS now and I always enjoy it. The food is great and well priced, the staff is very helpful and its always clean in there. Except for one time where they had a leak in the ceiling but thats the one exception and it was gone the next time I went later in the week so they got it fixed really fast. They have a deal there which gets you 2 entrees and dessert for about $20 which is really nice. The only thing is that its only select entrees but its so varied that youll definitely find one you like. Its also a great place to bring your kids as they give out paper place mats and crayons so they can draw while waiting for food. They even display some behind the front desk and on the wall in the entrance. Overall I rate 5 out of 5. Somewhat based on nostalgia mind you but still a fantastic restaurant for a casual sit-down at any time of the day.

Shared dinner with my fiance last night. I tried the balsamic chicken which is served on top of a pita and ordered a side of spinach. I am happy that the server was able to switch the spinach I ordered for carrots, and he didnt charge us extra for that switch. I just didnt like the way the spinach was cooked - in oil of a kind I am not aware of.Plus I asked for the cost of the cookies in the front of the diner and the lady offered me one for free! Definitely happy about that since we are trying to save $$.
I went to this dinner today and I found a bloody bandage in my food and the manager told me nothing much he can do just leave and he had the biggest attitude

My family and I go to the Baldwin Coach Diner all the time and also get takeout. The staff is very friendly and they take time to get to know their guests.The diner is separated into three rooms, as well as the main part as you walk in. There is also counter service, if that is what you like. The food is typical diner food, including breakfast foods all day long, which my kids love. There is a kids menu, and they have crayons for the kids to draw.They are convenient because the diner is directly across from the Baldwin train station. I also like that they accept Android and Apple pay. The parking lot is a nice size and is sufficient for most times of the day. There is also a ramp to get in for wheelchairs and other disabilities.
Best Diner out there. Can’t beat it
