Fine job creating Bimini for our 28 Catalina. Completed on schedule. Price reasonable for a custom product.

Great canvas company to do business with. Marvin is extremely talented and did a complete custom job on my boats canvas and framing. He truly takes pride in his work and makes sure you are completely satisfied before he is done. Highly Recommend!

Got a quality winter cover for 40 foot sailboat, fits well. Also fixed stack pack mainsail cover and some interior cushion covers. Nicely done. Owner worked at Almo which had been the go to canvas shop for upper Chesapeake Bay area for decades.

I had a very quick project to get done. They did it while I waited ten minutes and charged me a very reasonable price.

Thank you Charm City Marine for helping your neighborhood park, The Canton Tot Lot, fix our tarp! Your sewing and repair skills is providing another year (or more) of shade for your smallest neighbors. We appreciate you!

I was delighted with the work and the customer service. I have owned a number of boats and worked with a half dozen canvas makers. Marvin is absolutely one of the best. His workmanship was excellent and he worked with me thru several design issues to deliver an outstanding result. He was well organized, provided excellent advice, and delivered on time. I would not hesitate to use him again, in fact, would not hesitate to make a trip to Baltimore to have him work on my boat. I am very, very pleased with the results and the workmanship.

Poor communication, no follow up. Tried to get some work done, I agreed to a 50% deposit once I had a quote in hand which I thought was a bit unreasonable. Then they went quiet, stopped responding and clearly are too busy and don’t need or want the job. A professional courtesy to let me know would have been appropriate, but I have now wasted weeks trying to get them to book the job. Couldn’t imagine what they are like once they get your money. I have found a more professional canvas shop to do my work, would not recommend.

Amazing company! Great customer service and an amazing product! We were a little unorthodox in our request as we were looking to enclose our screen porch against the elements. Marvin came out measured everything went over our options and then created an amazing closure with the canvas. Highly recommend this company as they are creative, easy to work with, and create an amazing product. Thanks so much we look forward to being able to use our screen porch more now!

The quality and craftsmanship of the Bimini and cockpit cover we had custom made were excellent. The fit of the cover is incredible, especially when you consider they had to match snaps that were already installed and I didnt have a cover to use as a template! They were easy to contact and had a short turn around time. I highly recommend their services!

Im afraid that my experience with Charm City Marine Canvas has been quite similar to that described above by Rita and Jim. After making a new dodger for my sailboat, I found that it was so tight that I could not clip down the fasteners or close the zipper. I told the owner, Marvin, about this early in the season, sometime in April or May. After several weeks and multiple attempts to get a response, he finally came down to my boat, which is at the same marina as their shop. Marvin agreed to trim the supporting poles, which was done, but it is now mid-July and the zipper has still not been fixed. This past week, after multiple attempts on my part to bring this to the attention and others working in his shop, Marvin left me a voice mail telling me that they could fix the zipper, but only if I agreed to pay $150.00 for their labor. I left a voice mail message 5 days ago that this was not acceptable to me, since the zipper broke the first time I tried to close it, and clearly was a result of the poor fit of the canvas. I have had no further response. Therefore, I am going to take the dodger to a canvas shop in Annapolis that did work for me in the past, and where I never had any trouble getting excellent customer service and warranty repairs. I gladly pay them for this work, but I will never pay Charm City another cent.

We hired Marvin 3 years ago to make new canvas for our sailboat. He did a pretty good job except for the separator. It appears to not be a right fit. We tried to work with him to correct the problem. He seemed to be too busy to properly fix it. Unfortunately we have lived with this problem for 3 years. There are gullies that drain water into the cockpit everytime it rains. Now that the zipper has broken we are taking the canvas to Annapolis to fix the zipper even though Charm Clty Canvas is located in our Marina. I would not refer him for a job if follow up repairs are important to you.

Quality of workmanship was OK. Follow-up for additional work discussed was poor. I guess when you are busy, it doesnt matter. Except to me.
