Went to US Audio on patapsco. Same day done, with technique $175. (Thanks Lou! ) plus BandBcustoms will do it for$150 w/appt.

They dont know anything concerning stereo installation, the only thing they are good in is to book you appointment and waste your time for nothing. He asked me what my budget was and walked me around the store and showed me my options. Everything you need is more than likely in stock. I dropped my car off at 10am with no appointment and by the afternoon I was beating down the block.

Great local source for the audio enthusiast AND for someone looking to replace a blown speaker at a reasonable price.I gave a call and spoke with Nick who gave me his opinion and pricing on a few sub woofers I had in mind for my 2018 Suburban LT.This past weekend I walked in, spoke with Danny who also gave me his opinion and details on the sub woofer I had decided on.They gave me a good deal on it.AND...Unlike a lot of other shops in the area they were even able to complete the install on the sub woofer right then and there upon purchase without having to wait hours or drop off my truck.That was huge for me.Huge inventory, great products, great product knowledge and most of all GREAT PEOPLE!!!Also check out their foam products too if you need sofa foam cushion replacements etc.A1 rating from me.

Let me share my experience and the stuff I viewed while I was there. They definitely get over on tons of people with the tactics they use. First I was getting a quote on a radio that they had, I believe it was a Pioneer or Sony. The radio was priced at I think 700 something and while we were talking the guy said look ill do it for $550 I guess to make me feel like im getting a deal, then come to find out it thats how much it was already anyway. They mark all their prices up and pull the little ill do it for this bs to make you feel like youre getting a deal. I watched them pull this about 2 other times on other customers who were in there too. Its seems like inner city folks that arent too smart are who they prey on

Amazing service! Car stereo installation while you wait at a great price. I got speakers in my car replaced and I was offered a great deal (not the most expensive) on them and installation. I checked out the store while waiting and they do have so many more products. I spend some extra time at the DJ production tables and equipment. The people there know their business and are more then willing to help with any questions you have.

I have know these guys a long time. They have a huge selection and helpful staff. They want you happy. So refunds or making things right is what to expect. Great audio selection and rims also. They have bed covers and more.This shop has great installers that get you out ASAP. If issues should arise they will work with you to get it right. I look for that in company so I will back them up.If your into cars and trucks or whatever trust me this is a candy store for you!

Great customer service!! I love Bose.My left earbud died and I was still under warranty. I went in today and they exchanged them for me in about 6 minutes. I wish I had gotten the reps name, because he was sweet, and Id like to personally thank him...but its not on my receipt and I just dont remember it.Oh well! Bose representative who helped me around 4 pm today, thank you Sir! You guys will have my business for years to come.

Going to Poptronics for my new remote starter was a great experience. The staff were personable, knowledgeable, and very straight forward. I was shown several kits, which were thoroughly explained to me, but was directed to those that more specifically suited my needs, i.e. the less expensive kits. Poptronics was able to schedule me in immediately, and my car was ready the same day and before the expected time. All in all, the service was great, and I would definitely recommend Poptronics to those seeking audio systems and automobile electronics.

Place was fast, friendly, plus they had a dog there. Fixed my stereo which wasnt getting power to it in about an hour. Thanks guys.

Great guys to do business with

I went to get an alarm installed. I leave the place and my brake lights and turn signals dont work. The installer said he did tap into my lights and a manager said they did not. I went back and the people acted nasty, unfortunately I acted out anger as well. But the whole time these people lied and said they never spoke to me about my issues. When I gave the conversation back verbatim they still lied. They asked me when was the last time the vehicle was inspected. That does not matter. My lights worked. And before I got to them they forgot to tell me to bring my spare key. So I had to travel 45 minutes back by way of a friend coming to get me. Please take your business to Crutchfield, they are excellent and professional.

I was gifted a reverse camera for my car and they installed it quickly for a fair price. Answered my questions and were very knowledgeable.

They have okay deals on things. Pretty pricey but I guess its worth it for now. They have absolutely anything and everything youre looking for when it comes to audio. The place was under construction while I was there but thats understanding cause it looks like itll be nice when theyre done. The waiting room has TV and some old couches. A lot of mishaps happened having me to drive there 3 times in one day to get things exhanged and replaced. But I was compensated nicely and they took care of everything. The staff was nice to me.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!!!I now live in Waldorf, Md and I have no problems passing by numerous install shops to get here. If I can throw out a name ...SMITTY... introduced me to these guys in PATAPSCO (and at the old location) and it has been love ever since. They have a great selection, lots of parts, lots of knowledge, and great people working with you. If you ask me, they are the next best thing to going straight to Crutchfield (5 STARS all day any day)

We had an audio system installed about 3 months ago, when first got in the car after the installation the whole car REEKED of alcohol! They had cut holes in the glove box without asking, there was two cords hanging out one of which was right under the driver dash dangling by the gas pedal. Come to find out it was for the Bluetooth mic which stopped working not too long after. The speakers are loose already and rattling. First time we came to have it fixed all the did was move some wires and say it was fixed. Second time we made an appointment arrived and was told they didn’t have time. THIRD time here we had a one o’clock appointment it’s an hour later and the car hasn’t even been looked at and the guy said they still have cars from 9 am to look at. So unprofessional!!!

Walked in for auto start walked out with a new stereo system and back up camera and rain guards. They were very professional. Definitely a one stop shop.

Went there after reading reviews of a few local car stereo installation places and they seemed to have the best reviews over other places. I called them before I went there to get an estimate on what I wanted and in the end they were able to stay pretty close. I wanted a replacement stereo for my stock Prius unit with SiriusXM and Bluetooth integrated. Told the installer what I wanted and he showed me a couple of options from top of the line down. He didnt try to over sell me on the most expensive and was very thorough in explaining options on the different units. I ended up getting a mid range Pioneer with all the options I need and he installed it while I waited. Installation was clean and when he was done he sat in the car with me and went over a few things on the unit with me. I was probably there about 2 1/2 hours which didnt seem bad to me at all. They have a decent waiting room with a TV and you can always walk across the bridge to get some Royal Farms chicken while you wait.They also sell a lot more than just car stereos there. LED lighting installation, cameras, mud flaps, and more. I would definitely go back in the future and would recommend their installers over a Best Buy where you really dont know if the person working on your vehicle has 2 weeks or 2 years experience.

I called before coming in, and was quoted a price on a stereo install, which they then bumped up around $100 when I got there. And Im talking the base labor cost, not the cost of the install kit, etc. Their cost was so much higher than typical, that I left and went somewhere else that charged a reasonable price.Aside from trying to scam me on price however, giving a price quote they wouldnt honor, the employees there were the most unpleasant, snide, and unhelpful Ive ever encountered. I literally walked out in disgust. I would recommend against going to this dump under any circumstances.

The one on Russell street is terrible they told me to come in and they would install my led light got there and he told me his installers were gone home now this was 3 and half-hour before they closed didnt apologize or nothing just ask could they install them on another day heck Naw dont want the service also they are extremely over priced if your looking for audio go to car audio giant on the internet what ever your looking for it at wholesale cost for example I got a kicker amp 1500 watts on kicker site and at poptronics 550 cag it was 225 check it out thats their prices all the time peace

There are much better places you can travel to and get ripped off just as easily, not worth the effort of even calling you can get the same product less the 30% mark up right online!

I went and got a quote from a mechanic, he suggested that i replace all my speakers and amp which he priced at about 900$. I ended up going to a different shop and it ended up being a blown fuse which only cost me $40.They tried to scam me !
