I highly recommend you choose a different Kia body shop to go to. I had my car in the shop for almost five months and just got it back late June, when I had it returned to me I had a crack in my windshield that was not caused by the accident and they tried to accuse the tow men of doing it, then when that lie wasnt working said it was due to weather 😒 despite the fact I was there on June 5th and had taken photos of my car and there was no crack. I presented the photos to the manager in person and still denied it. My insurance company contacted them to show they had photos of the car and there was no crack in the windshield upon arrival and that it was done while in their possession, they were rude and nasty and told them they were not going to fix it. I contacted the GM and she tried to side with the workers at the body shop story to cover themselves, please avoid Bob Bell Kia body shop and go to another. Your money and trust can be well spent towards another Kia thats professional and honest.

**Update from 2 days later: I received a call that settled all my issues that occurred a few days ago. They apologized and gave reasons why things didn’t go as planned. I’m thankful they realize mistakes and reconcile them.An oil change usually takes about 30 minutes for me to do. When I dropped my car off, they said it would take an hour and that they’d call me when it was done. 3 hours later, I call to ask if it’s done and they say no. What’s the point in making an appointment at a certain time if they’re not going to start working on my car at that exact time? Im usually not one to complain unless I’m really unsatisfied…. I’m unsatisfied.

I spent over$60.000 plus dollars to visit this very nice dealership only to be told they could not get me into a car. After I expressed and explain to the sales person that I didnt have any money down and had very challenging credit before coming there. I even cancelled my appointment to see a new Kia Soul but was asked to come out to see a used car without having to put any money down on a used car. I wish sales people would really listen when you are telling them something, and dont have you spending money and time that one really doesnt have.

My husband and I came in to look at a Sorento after having our vehicle totaled. We were met in the parking lot by someone I believe named Dave (could be wrong). We told him what we were looking for and even told him our monthly budget. He basically told us it wasn’t possible. We never went inside for a credit check despite us telling him we have pretty good credit. He never even let us look in the vehicle aside from peeking through the window. He told us we would probably need to go the used car route. We ended up leaving and were called the next day as I had previously inquired online. The young man that called advised he would call me back that day at 430 after telling him about our poor experience. Guess what? He never called. I’m not sure if these people didn’t take me serious or what? Maybe they just saw a young interracial couple and thought we were window shopping. However, fast forward to just three days later, we bought the exact vehicle we wanted at the exact price range we are looking for at a different Kia dealer. I will never do business with Bob Bell again.

3 months ago I went to Bob Bell for the first time to look at leasing a Kia Stinger. I had an appointment and was met with incredibly nice people and honestly solid service. After deciding I would sign my lease that day, my salesperson, Brett (who gets 5 stars) walked me to the finance dept. After getting to the finance building it was about 2 hours until I left, which was kinda weird as it was snowing out and clearly a pretty slow day. Anywho, I finally got into the office of the finance person and they were clearly new at their job (and told me as such). That wasnt a problem at all, I am an understanding and patient person, but they had to reprint my contract a few times because they new guy did it slightly wrong. I found it a little weird no one was giving him a hand. We finalized my contract and I was out the door with my new baby!Fast forward two weeks I get a call from the dealer saying my lease payments were too high (happy days!), so I had to come in and resign my lease. However, I had to wait around 2 hours just do spend 5 minutes signing my lease...Fast forward another 2-3 weeks. Get a call from the dealer saying they misprinted my contract and i have to come in again to resign it...getting kind of annoyed at this point. I also learn there is a recall out on my car from December 2020 (3 months before i bought my car) and Ill have to come in AGAIN to get that repaired. Why that wasnt fixed before I took my car home in the first place is beyond me.Long story short, my review is 2 stars because the dealer messed up several times, wasted many hours of my time, and quite a lot of gas. I had to go back there yesterday to get my license plates (FINALLY), which for some reason couldnt be shipped to me because I was told they dont ship inside MD. My temp tags expired over a month ago...thankfully i never got pulled over...

Our salesperson Dominic was pleasant to deal with. He was helpful and worked hard to make the transaction smooth. My rating would be much higher if we had only dealt with Dominic.Then, we had to work with people in the finance department who were condescending, rude and deceitful. The finance manager had moved from Texas the week before and was a slick double talker, who I caught in a lie when he added $1,200 to the final cost of my vehicle, when he had previously said there would be no additional charge. It was fun to watch him squirm when I identified the unauthorized charge on the finance document. A second person, a woman who said she was from Chicago, tried to help the finance manager pressure us into purchasing products we didnt want, even forcing us to watch a video we said we didnt want to watch.We will never return to Bob Bell, solely because of our experience with the finance department. They insulted our intelligence, pressured us incessantly to buy products we didnt want and were generally rude.

Ed Purcell helped my daughter get her 1st car and I couldnt be more satisfied with his service. He was knowledgeable and willing to take his time and show us (mainly her) all the cars on both the Nissan and Kia side that would fit what she was looking for. He heard me and what I wanted as a parent as well. Been going to Bob Bell for 18 years for my vehicles and this was by far the fastest I got my car and was out the door. No fuss no haggling. I ‘d purchased a vehicle from Bob Bell Kia eight years and every since, I have been traveling over fifty miles (every 3 months / every 3,000 miles )-post Covid 19 and during Covid19 to have my oil changed, repairs and other car services with them . I have referred my friends and they’re purchased vehicles. So evidently I am well please with their services, with the exception of this one Saturday I arrived without an appointment as USUAL for my standard oil change. After waiting nearly an hour 1/2, I left upset and without an oil change; later Gary called to apologize and Thanked me for returning all these years. We both agreed that I have been satisfied with “Bob Bell care” for my SUV. Thank You Connie C.

Failed to send an Engine recall and we had to have our engine replaced. We were told to take the repair bill to the nearest local Kia dealer which we did. Jenn Traynor said it would be three to for weeks that was in June 29,2020. Mid July no communication or updates so we spoke to Roxanne at the Ford location.She said she would speak to the manager of the dealer ship and try to resolve our issue. She called and told us he said he sent it to to Kia corporate office. We follow up with them and they hadn’t received anything as of July22,2020 regarding our refund. They started a case for us and Sherry said she would take over we are still waiting and being blown off! Worst customer service I have ever received!!

My experience was the worst at this place. 1st time I went there I had to replace a blown fuse and the service members decided to help themselves to the change in my cup holder. 2nd and last time I’ve been here, I left with more problems then I arrived with. I give a below average because they said the express lube should take about one hour to hour and half but this is the second time it took two and a half hours. Just be honest when I ask. I told someone I could pick them up in 2 hours and I was late. Otherwise the person would of made different plans or I would of come back when I had more time.

Firstly, my wife and I were searching for a new car and have worked with 2 other dealerships over the past week. We called Emerson over at this Bob bell Kia location. He responded to us on his day off and was very responsive and informative. The next day we came down to the dealership and never had such a great experience buying a car. Customer service is definitely his aim and he hits the mark.He played with my child, he was warm and friendly, and was extremely concerned with making sure we happy with our vehicle that we were chosing and offered us options based on our preferences.Then we were handed of to Helen who was the finance manager who bent over backwards to get us not only approved for the car we wanted, but at the payment we wanted.Lastly we were handed off to the in house insurance agent Richard whom we had some great conversations with and had a great time. Overall we couldnt have asked for a better experience.I NEVER write a review on Google for ANYTHING. My original vehicle had been totaled by the insurer on December 30th. I needed a car similiar to my nowtotaled Scion. On New Years Day I went to look on the Bob Bell Kia lot, expecting them to be closed.A very pleasant and helpful sales person was there on the job and had me in my new 2020 Kia Soul onNew Years Day for a cost only a few thousand dollars more than a used 2016 with 37,000 miles I hadjust seen at a well known used car dealer. The treatment and care of my customer concerns includingthe change of insurance and tags were handled professionally and quickly by the sales person as I satcomfortably and at ease. My daughter and I both bought 2016 Kia Sedona . We both had a problem with the windshield washer fluid leaking out. I called and made an appt . I took mine in first and was told that the plastic bottles that hold the fluid was leaking, but they had to order the bottle. I Had to make another appt to bring my Kia back. they said it was under warranty and replaced the bottle. Made another appt to bring my daughters in and was told yes her plastic bottles was leaking but hers was not under warranty due to her Kia having more mileage. They wanted to charge $316.00 to replace the plastic bottle that only cost 36.00. Wonder how many other Kia owners have had or are having this problem.

I purchased my 2019 KIA Sorento 02/2019. I am very please with the vehicle. The service has been outstanding with this vehicle. I previously had a 2016 Sorento. The service at Bob Bell has been outstanding. Had to do my 15,000 servicing in Fla in November. It was a terrible experience. Took over 4 hours for basically an oil change. Nothing but compliments for Bob Bell and their service. Will be having my 20,000 check up next month.

Everyone was so pleasant! My car had been broken into and the thief took my lugnut key. They quoted me a price and were able to take me right away to get that changed out. It ended up being less than the quote AND they swept all the broken glass up for me as a courtesy...I didnt even ask them to do that. Very wonderful experience after having bad luck which helped me to feel better about the whole situation.

I had shopped for this soul at 2 other dealerships, my experience at your place was so different, after much thought I came to the conclusion that the difference was the way in which I was treated. I received a call first from a woman that listened to my situation,(Bad Credit) that didn’t change anything in the way she treated me (Sarah) I decided to go to you with the hopefulness that this would be the place that I could finally get a car. There were things going on that I knew nothing about (my previous bankruptcy) I was assigned Stephanie, I can’t say enough to know that she get the credit she deserves, respect was answer for me, not once did she make me uncomfortable for any of my past. She’s a great salesperson, Kia should do everything to hold on to her, she ran around and did everything possible to get me that new lease I needed to get.I was very aware of the process by which credit is granted. I knew that I’d probably have to get a co-signer. at the end of all this, I have my new lease, I thank all the people that made this possible from Sarah on the phone to Stephanie and finally to the young man (manager).that put it through, I’ll be back in three years, God willing, to get another car.

It was my first time there. Making the appt. for a factory recall, I couldnt get anyone to call me back to answer questions. Had a hard time figuring out where the service department was. Had to ask two people for directions. Signage is very sparse. I was told I could get a free rental and that someone would come get me from the waiting area, but no one ever did. So I sat there the whole time. They told me my car was done and then it took them 40 minutes to bring my car around so I could leave. On the up side, they didnt try to hard sell any of their suggested maintenance/repairs and everyone was very courteous and nice. Despite that last part, which I hold in very high regard these days, I probably wont be back.

However they told me my car was ready, so I drove there to find my car had a warning light that wasnt on before I brought it in. Asked them why it was on and they had no idea and said I needed to leave my car there for another day to check it out.

This review is for the parts department. I have dealt with them in person, and over the phone. Normally, having to call the dealer for a part means the part is very hard to find in the first place. I have had only great experiences dealing with Bob Bell for Kia parts. Not only are they cheaper than many of the other dealers in the area, they have many of the parts that I have needed in stock.

On vacation and picked this place based on decent reviews and location to fix a headlight. We called ahead to ensure they could get us right in and it would be quick. 2 hours later, yes two, they finished. 2 hours to change a light bulb. Seriously?!? This is an awful place, BEWARE! Plus, it cost $115...for a light bulb. Double what weve ever paid for the same service, which usually takes a half hour on this vehicle.

Finance mishaps but overall dealership is recommended!I would have given 5 stars, but its been 26 days, and DC-DMV still does not have my title, and I cannot register my vehicle. Dinesh was a good sales person, offering extra advice and I highly recommend him. The process was smooth, and the dealership even assisted by having someone drive my old vehicle back to DC, while I drove away with my new sale!! They also supported Breast Cancer and Cancer awareness month! For many like myself who lost a loved-one, it felt good to know they care, as they too suffered loss. Made an appointment for new tires and when I arrived the mechanic told me that they did not have the correct ones in stock. They did not communicate that to me beforehand so that I did not drive all the way up there even though they knew when I was coming, why I was coming, and what kind of car I had. After much resistance they were able to find the correct ones that day. I bought and had the tires put on by them and had to return the next day to get one replaced as it was faulty. A few months later I get a flat and go to get it fixed and I am without my wheel locks. The mechanic (from another establishment) had to charge me extra to break the wheel and I had to return yet again to Bob Bell to receive my wheel lock key (which they lost since they were the last ones to work on my wheels) or have all of them broken. They would not give me new wheel locks free of charge even though they caused the mishap. A horrible experience every time Ive had to deal with them.

After a couple horrible experiences at another kia dealer, I decided to try out Bob bell. While I didnt intend to spend as much as I did during my service visit, it was nice that the extra cost and service was legitimately needed. The customer service was amazing. Unlike other dealers that tell you its only going to take 2hrs and leave you hanging for 5hrs, it actually only took 2hrs. I appreciated that attention and explanation of what was needed, no condescending tone or round about answers for once. I will definitely be going back for my next service. I could immediately tell a positive difference in my car on the drive home.

3 cars. Fabulous service but the last few years...not good.I won’t go back too far but, let’s just say, a major issue was diagnosed as one thing, turns out, it was a battery, not what the said. I digress.Went in last night for the evening quick lube, as I typically do and was rushed through. A tire with a clear slow leaked was checked, found nothing. Hmmmm. I asked about my fog light, I was told “oh, they didn’t notice”.4 items were tagged to be fixed (minor issues during the 21 point inspection) received a print out, not certain if the items were fixed, or if they want my to address it on my next visit, or what.I hZve the free oil changes so when my invoice said, “you pay $52.58” I wasn’t certain what was going on.Zach Brocki rushed me out, said I didn’t need to see the cashier, even though the invoice clearly says “ please pay this amount $52.58.I suspect it was all because I pulled up at 7:25 because Zach made clear when I arrived, we close at 8. Never heard that before. Sign says “last car taken at 20 minutes before closing”.This coupled with prior issues that I didn’t contact Bob Bell about but clearly should have makes me think there are new crew members.Bob Bell is in my list of bests dealers and I have always experienced a high level of customer service and vehicle care. Not do much in the last few years.That said, I’ll double back next week (about 7:pm) to find out what’s what.I still love Bob Bell, but please get it together.Regards,E

Bob Bell Kia was the best place I could have taken my Kia Sorento.They treated me with respect and tried their best to get my car back to me as fast as they could in spite of the insurance company that had to pay for the repairs moving slowly at every stage of the repair. Believe me I would use BobBell Kia before any one else.

Bought a car from these guys. I don’t feel I got the best deal but hey that’s my fault for not negotiating a bit better. The real reason they are getting 3 stars is because the deal was kind of plagued from the get go. The sales guy messed up on my home state and so they offered me a deal with taxes for another state. So when we put in the correct state the payments were completely off. We corrected the issue, however, then the finance guy did such a sloppy job printing the contract that two weeks later I got a call from them saying I needed to sign a new contract because the bank had rejected the original one. It was kind of an inconvenience because I was going on a trip and now had to make sure he paper work was signed and returned promptly. And lastly, my permanent tags took 3 months to arrive. However I will mention that the buying experience wasn’t bad, and they do have good people working for them.

I have to say I have never had a bad experience in regards to the service department at Bob Bell Kia. My Service Consultant has always been Heather Traynor, she is always so knowledgeable and helpful when I bring my car in for service. She always puts the customer first and even took time to look through a binder in my vehicle to see if I had the correct warranty information. When trying to juggle schedules (career, childrens school events and sports) I can always depend on Bob Bell for transportation to and from the service department without having to rearrange to much in our day to day lives. Heather, I want to extend a huge Thank You to you personally. You always go above and beyond and it makes a world of difference in the customers eyes.

I drove a longer distance through the tunnel to come to this specific Bob Bell service department, as I purchased my vehicle here. I had an appointment scheduled at 12 noon for an oil change and to replace a turn signal light bulb. I arrived on time to my appt. It is 2:40pm and I am still here waiting (with my infant child). I was told at 1:30pm theyd take my vehicle soon. Ive seen other customers come and go through the service department (was later told they were quick lane customers just here for an oil change). Why schedule an appointment if you cannot service my vehicle remotely near that time?Edit: After requesting to speak with someone given this outrageous wait time, I was led back to the service department. There was confusion on their end about the status of my vehicle (as they didnt realize it was parked right in front of us, apparently ready to go). I was finally checking out just before 3pm, three hours after my arrival and scheduled appointment time. This was an extremely negative, disappointing, and inconvenient experience.

I picked my car up last night after having a new engine put in it. As I was driving home the engine light came on and my car had trouble shifting into gear at on point as well as making turns. So I pulled into a gas station opened the hood and found that some bolts we’re getting ready to fall out and loose and some bolts are entirely missing. I may also be extremely low on transmission fluid. I am furious considering how long it took to get my car back.

I required an oil change and this establishment is the closest to my domicile so i took a chance. I was pleasantly surprised with the staff. I didnt feel rushed or just like some number. Theres ample space for several cars to be worked on simultaneously and the amount of time that was predicted for services was 10 minutes less with the addition of a tire rotation. I did some work while i waited. They have a kuerig, tea and bottled water set up along with some snacks (i choose the granola bars). The wifi was quick but in truth i didnt see any heavy lap top users other than me at the time. My vehicle was not washed or vacuumed, but that may be a east coast versus west coast (in san diego & Sacramento this was part of the service) difference. No military discount either, but again this could be the delta between coasts. OVERALL i believe i may have found my new KIA shop for MAINTENANCE needs, going forward. I am a transplant from elsewhere so having a reliable service is EXTREMELY important to me.

I only come here now after a less than good experience with Glen Burnie. My 2015 optima had engine issues. The service advisor Heather contacted me quickly and let me know what was wrong with the car and that it was covered under warranty and had jim set up a complimentary rental. Everyone was awesome. Overall experience here was great.
