Enjoyed my experience here. Other mechanics told me I needed a valve cover gasket replaced but were trying to over charge me. Brought it here and they took a look and it turns out the original mechanic had no clue what they were talking about. They could have done repair anyway in charged me and I would not have know but instead they told me it was good and sent me away.

I like this shop a lot. Polite, honest. Will definitely be going back.

I cant say enough good things about this mechanic. Im not very knowledgeable about cars, but I never felt like they were over charging me or taking advantage of that. Mike and the crew were wonderful to work with, took the time to walk through each of the repairs & related costs, gave me price options, and even drove me to work after I dropped my car off so I wouldnt have to call a cab. They made the awful process of registering my IL car in MD as painless as possible and walked me through every step. I havent had any issues lately, but even though Ive moved out of the area I would absolutely go back.

I cannot stress this enough — these guys are the BEST!!! I come to clipper mill auto whenever I have an issue with my car. They are always incredibly helpful, trustworthy, reliable, and have a quick turn around. Super reasonably priced, and very nice people to boot. For as long as I live in Baltimore, I will never take my car anywhere else.

Really nice and honest people. Brought my car in for diagnostics and they did it for free (because it was an easy diagnostic, but still..) I feel lucky that I went to them, as Honda would have charged over $100. Ill be recommending them to everyone...

One of the best, most friendly, and knowledgeable garages in Baltimore. Absolutely zero sleezy mechanic stuff and the prices are very fair. I feel that they can handle any vehicle, but that they specialize in keeping older cars going strong.

Mike is a great mechanic, but more importantly he is an honest one. He has correctly diagnosed and fixed all of my vehicles for over the past 10 years. Ive met others in the waiting room from time to time and only heard good things about his service and integrity. Clipper mill auto has been the best mechanic in town i have been to thus far. The people here are friendly, honest and really do go the extra mile. Mike was knowledgeable and knew exactly what the problem with my car was and fixed it, in a timely manner. Prices are fair and not overpriced. We’ve taken our 10yo Jeep here twice in the last month, first for electrical problems, most recently for its brakes. Each time, Clipper Mill staff has been friendly, quick-working, and wonderfully communicative. I dropped my car off a week ago because it needed a new part. After 24 hours of not hearing from the mechanics, I called Clipper Mill Auto to check on the status. The man on the phone told me that they needed a new part and that it should be there by tomorrow. Two days later, I never heard back from them. I then called to check on my car again and they told me that it should be done by Monday or Tuesday (which was fine). After not hearing from Clipper Mill Auto again, I called them on Wednesday to check on the status of my car. The man on the phone told me that he needed to call me back with the status. At 4:50 that Wednesday (10 minutes before they close), I never got a call back. I then went to them to pick up my car and it was still NOT fixed. I do not recommend Clipper Mill Auto because they did not stay in contact with me and took a week to NOT fix my car.

I called on very short notice and they let me come in. Easily fixed the issue and were very nice.

My Sister, (Cookie) recently went there with a muffler problem... Shes a senior & knows nothing of new car repair...POINT>>> They were kind,,, looked a muffler problem,,, fixed,,, the charge was EXTREMELY CHEAP... THIS IS A PLACE THAT HAS GOOD PEOPLE & THEY,CARE...Many Blessings to THEM !!! Very Satisfied Customer .....

Mike is straightforward about repairs, will present alternatives, and has incredibly reasonable prices. We no longer live in Hampden, but still take both vehicles for regular maintenance and more substantial repairs.
