I absolutely love the staff, they are very kind. However they are a bit disorganized. I had called to set up a VIP appointment back in November for a January appointment and they had said they would get back to me with pricing since I had some special conditions. They confirmed verbally and said that they would process the payment in store. But, the week before my appointment, I called to confirm and they said there was no record of it in their books. Everything turned out okay in the end and they were very accommodating with my comfort level surrounding COVID, but if they had been busier I would have had to reschedule which would not have been possible due to a special friend only being in the area for a small window of time. I was also not impressed with the quality of gowns, the materials were all synthetic but the prices also reflected that. Their formal wear department has a much broader selection than their bridal department in my experience.

I came with my sister to find her dream dress, and Meredith made it beyond easy, enjoyable and literally the most perfect experience! I’ve been through dress shopping, and I can tell you my experience wasn’t half of what Meredith gave my sister. 10/10 recommend blush bridal and please, request Meredith!!! She will NOT disappoint!!!!!!

Courtney sized me perfectly without even trying on the dress myself, and rush-ordered my dress so that I had it in less than a month! It was exactly the kind of dress that I wanted! She carries designers with the latest fashion trends as well as classic styles, and you won’t find in-season styles cheaper than you will here! She is incredibly good with fashion, and she treats you like family! 🤓 I will definitely be visiting her again with other formalware needs 🤓

UPDATE:I am so happy I decided to give Blush another chance! The owner, Courtney Wetzel, contacted me the same evening I wrote my previous review apologizing for the way the day had gone. She encouraged me to give Blush another chance and I am so glad that I did. I purchased the perfect dress yesterday after working with Karami, the Bangor store manager, who was exceptional! She was patient, friendly and professional. There are not many businesses that would have handled this situation in the way that Blush did and I will definitely be recommending them in the future!________________________________________________________________________Very poor customer service. I have had two experiences with Blush Bridal. The first time I made an appointment on a Monday to look at Bridesmaid dresses and was appalled by how unhelpful the consultant was. She was not able to answer any of our questions about dates of upcoming events or even look them up. When asked about colors and designers she was not even able to log in online to look at the availability. The second time I made an appointment request on Friday evening. They are closed on saturdays but I expected a phone call or email confirming my Sunday morning appointment on Sunday morning. I did not receive any confirmation and after driving 45 minutes we arrived being told that we should have received a call telling us they were booked for the day. Finally after speaking with the manager they would be able to squeeze us in the middle of the afternoon several hours later. I drove all the way from Boston for an appointment that wasnt able to happen.

Awesome Dress place and very nice people

I visited Blush in Bangor twice in the past 2 weeks to search for a wedding gown. Overall my experience was good.The staff were very friendly and sweet. However, one thing I found strange, both times when checking in for my appointments, I told the woman at the desk my appointment time and she looked at the schedule and asked if I was a person by a different name. It may be better to just be asked what your name is rather than guessing the wrong name, which makes it seem a little impersonal.I had a very specific gown style in mind and Blush had several options in my style of choice, good selection. I tried on I think 6 gowns in my style, and a couple in another style just to keep an open mind. I did not feel rushed at all. I was helped into and out of each gown and they clipped up extra fabric in all the right places so I could get a good idea of what the gown would look like in my size.I will note that the woman who helped me the first time me was very sweet, however didnt really seem to listen to certain specifics, such as I mentioned that I dont want a veil and she kept putting veils on me.I left Blush after my first visit thinking that the prices were just too high for me. All the gowns I tried on were over $1000. I did find one gown that could have been the one, a beautiful Stella York gown, but at $1,200 (before alterations) it was just cost prohibitive. Prices were not discussed at all during the appointment. I was not asked my price range, and was only told the prices of each gown after I asked at the end of the appointment.I then started a search to find an alternative, less expensive gown, as well as the one at a lower price, for about a week. I looked online from numerous sources (E-bay, Craigslist, China direct sources, outlets) and at other shops.... only to have my mind keep getting drawn back by the beautiful Stella York gown at Blush. I then found the exact Stella York gown from an online seller, at about 35% off list price.I actually called Blush yesterday to see what size I am in Stella York gowns, because I was considering buying the gown from the online seller at a nice discount. I was informed that the dress I had tried on at Blush was my size and on sale, 50% off, as part of a sample gown sale for the month of October. This was an offer I couldnt pass up; it brought the cost even lower than the online seller was offering.I went back last night to try the gown on again and looked it over well. For a sample it is in great shape. It will need some minor alterations, but most wedding gowns do need alterations. Karami offered a business card for a seamstress who does great work with wedding gown alterations, which was helpful.Overall, I think the atmosphere could be improved, for example, by offering a beverage such as tea / champagne / water with your appointment. They did offer to Skype with my mother which I thought was very nice.Overall I am not impressed with the wedding industry in general. Wedding gowns (and pretty much anything with the word wedding in front of it) are much to much expensive!! But I found a wonderful gown at a very reasonable price from Blush and I am happy it just seems meant to be
