Phenomenal customer service. I watched the employees help someone pick out a gift for their girlfriend that knew nothing about coffee and they did in a great job. They have pour overs, specialty drinks, and espresso. This is a great little coffee shop I would highly recommend and would love to come back.

This is my favorite coffee house in Bangor; The hazelnut cafe au laits are a personal favorite here. I think the most stand out point of consideration for this small coffeehouse is that the beverages are not overly sweetened as you often find at almost any other coffee place. The flavor of the coffee is always strong, but never bitter. The pastries are also outstanding; there are even gluten free peanut butter cookies. The atmosphere is comforting and inclusive. There are plenty of board games, plants, and comfy places to sit. If youre over the Starbucks atmosphere and are seeking an authentic, intentional, peaceful, and welcoming location to get your caffeine fix this is the perfect place. I do want to note that while the service is impeccable and friendly, they prioritize quality above speed. It might take a minute longer to make your drink, but trust me it will be well worth the wait.

So happy I found this cafe while visiting Bangor. Upon entering this cute little place, I was warmly greeted by the barista (sadly, I didnt catch her name) who not only made a terrific vanilla latte but also gave some great recommendations from their pastry AMD baked goods offerings. Well definitely return next time were in town... [NOTE: my GPS took me a few blocks away; I suggest you head to The Charles Inn, which is right next door]

Bias towards medically marginalized community. I have Drs note stating I cant cover my face. The refused to serve curbside and walk 15 ft to give me a espresso. Nobody was in the establishment but employees. Very sad when a business cannot be managed and is ran by ill informed employees that quotes state laws that dont exist.

Just in for the first time, got the grumpy hour special..good value..very good. Nice decor, good eclectic music, a little loud for conversation. As one who has evaluated businesses professionally, I have a bit of a critical eye. Coffee great, quiche decent but cool. Was brought to my table, which is pretty tippy, had to ask for a fork..was told where they are..REALLY??..a napkin would have been nice too. Coffee dairy choices 1/2&1/2 or almond..some 1 or 2% would have been a nice option. Only a few baked good offerings, a bit pricy and most overly sweet. Mop and spray cleaner left at tables. Less than attentive and welcoming service. There is more minutiae...but enough. All in all a disappointment. Lots of potential, but will be unreaslized if they dont bring in a little assistance to help refine their business...a very useful investment for almost any business. I do hope they succeedProbably wont return..and Im local...Cheers.

Ive been there a total of four times, the first being last November and most recent earlier this week. The good: Possibly the best decor Iveever seen in a coffeeshop. Seems like every cubic inch of space is thoughtfully and tastefully considered. There is no theme, just quality artwork, posters, books, fixtures, furniture selected to form an eclectic but cohesive atmosphere. Unlike less skilled attempts Ive witnessed, nothing here is kitschy or contrived or silly. The space is small but so intricately arranged I never got tired of looking around as long as I sat there. Also, service was very good: staff were patient, cheerful, and friendly. The not so good: the coffee. On my first visit I ordered a cafe au lait. The coffee was acidic (could have been considered bright) and didnt have enough body for an au lait. Second visit I had an iced Vietnamese coffee, which was almost five dollars. I was told it was made with Sumatran coffee pour-over and sweetened condensed milk over ice. Dont get me wrong, it was good, but it didnt taste that much different from a Dunkin Donuts iced coffee. Third visit I had an iced tea, absolutely nothing special. Fourth visit I had another cafe au lait, thinking maybe a different coffee was on tap that day, but it was still acidic and thin. (I probably should have asked about the flavor charactistics of the pour-over options.)I cant say I wont go there again, cause I will, its a very appealing space. Its just that the coffee is not the best part.
