A wonderful space of color and texture. The people are great. The dog is the best!
My wife bought a poncho from this shop at a fair. When we got home we noticed the material was very thin and not at all warm. We paid $180 for the poncho. Which is a lot of money to pay for an item that doesnt provide much warmth. I am giving this item 3 stars because it is BEAUTIFUL. But in order for the poncho to be wearable, my wife is going to have to add material to it. Which is a shame. Because for $180, the silk and wool poncho SHOULD be warm.
Great local yarn store with a delightful selection of locally dyed yarns. Staff and owner are helpful and considerate. Attached is a small gift store with a nice selection of locally crafted items.
Hateful staff, very disrespectful considering they claim tolerance. Will not got back and dont recommend.
Very friendly staff...beautiful yarns
When you are in Bangor, dont forget to make your way to find One Lupine Fiber Arts up on the hill sort of behind the library. Even if you are not a spinner and do not knit or crochet, the other half of the store will undoubtedly have *something* for you to drool over, lust after and hopefully buy! Jody curates a wonderful selection of locally- and American made goodies, with an emphasis on artistry as well as function.
They have it all, such a wonderful surprise when you walk into their doors. Uniqueness in everything your looking for, and wonderfully home state gifts to give to your special friends. A must see place in Bangor, Maine.
Beautiful yarns and helpful sales staff.
