I’ve been going to northern kingdom since I was 14 years old. These guys are so professional, and so great! I am so grateful for their prompt and excellent service, and the good conversation. I just dropped one of my guitars off yesterday late morning (11/3/2021) to get some minor work done on it, and they had it done for me by 4:00pm the same day! It won’t always be like that, it typically takes a few days to a week from most places around here, but yesterday they were on top of it! Thanks so much guys, and I look forward to another 23 years of being a customer.

Very knowledgeable staff with a wide variety of guitars to see, staff even played a song for us and gave examples of what instrument was good for what kind of music that you want to play.

Great store, very helpful staff. Very limited regarding on hand bass guitar choices definitely a guitar player stocked store. Very competitive pricing on the basses I did check out. Would pick them over an online shop any day.

Ive bought over half my guitars from them and all my equipment (amps, pedals and such). Im in there at least once a week and its one of the best environments Ive ever been in. My fiance always goes here and everyone is so nice and they all really know what they are talking about! Weve bought guitars, amps, petals and a few other things from there and we just love everything we get. Hes NEVER disappointed and the guys really help whenever he has a question about one of his guitars.

They were extremely helpful -wife wanted strap installed on her ukelele - got a quote on labor and parts. They were very reasonable, did the job to her complete satisfaction, and was ready five days later. Very professional job!

Dallas does great work, everything from routine setups to full re-frets. Have no fear giving him a valuable guitar -- he will do a super job for a fair price, and stands behind his work. All staff are great to work with, store prices are reasonable, and I have never been given anything but an honest opinion on gear. Shops like this deserve our business, and we are fortunate to have them.

Northern Kingdom offers great instruments, excellent service, and prices that match the large online stores. My wife and I have had four instruments set up by Dallas and recently bought a bass guitar there. All our interactions have been professional and courteous and make the drive from Eastport well worth it.

Staff was super friendly, honest, and helpful. I came in with an old guitar and they showed me the issues that it had rather than just telling me about them. They also had their repair man look at it for free and call me with his opinion on whether it would be worth fixing or not.

Ive been going to this place since I was a kid. They treat everyone with respect regardless of means or ability; this is probably why theyve been able outlast their competition and survive internet retail. Great selection of guitars ranging from affordable to please ask for assistance. Theyve been there for a long time and know what theyre doing.

Of all the music stores in the greater Bangor area Northern Kingdom is by far the best hands down. Super friendly & knowledgeable staff, expert repair, and great selection. If they don’t have it they will get it. In the past 4 years I have purchased 6 electric guitars, 3 acoustic guitars & 3 amps. Not to mention countless parts. It is the only place I will shop for my musical needs.

Great music store right near Hussons campus! These guys have a pretty great set up and fantastic employees who really are knowledgeable and enthusiastic about music. I know next to nothing about guitars, so the manager took the time to explain string types to me and gave me some tips on stringing my new guitar. I really appreciated the advice.

Your standard music store in Bangor. Offering alot of deals, on Fenders.. alot of Fenders at this store. Not bad at all, but, not really a huge selection, and, little to no actual maine based companies work. But, they carry all your big name amp and guitar brands, and could fit you out for a gig very nicely!
