Ive tried to shop here on four different occasions, different times during the middle of the day or evening when it says theyre open. The door is always locked with the open sign still flashing. Dude get someone to run your store so people can support you

A classic hardware store where product is openly displayed to make it easier to find what you need and knowledgeable people are readily available to answer any questions. No big box mentality here.

Sweet, helpful gentlemen that own it. They also have a small ice cream parlor in the summer and even a hot dog stand. Cant go wrong with making a stop here!

The store probably had many glory days but they have long passed. It probably has an interesting history. Still, it appears as if they havent ordered any inventory in 20 years and are selling mostly what they have left. There are some interesting old things here, but they are evidently making no effort at all at providing a full line of anything except maybe paint. The roof leaks on shelves and merchandise and there are make-shift devices to catch the water. It is a hollow shell of what it must once have been.

I first learned about Hardware here in the 60s They always had Anything You could want. They were the go to storeUnfortunately that is no longer the case. Very few items in the store,Very spartan, looks like a store thats closing...Going out of business....

Found a few things I need, low inventory looks like they be closing but honestly the gentleman working the store was very nice, sad for the neighborhood if it is closing up

Great, local hardware store. The guys that run the place are classic, old-school types. They know their customers by name and care about the community. Theyve grown to compete with big boxes, and stayed open. Its a labyrinthine store with everything you need (and things you cant get anywhere else: plexiglass cut to size, screening by the foot, grass seed by the pound - same type up as Scotts at 1/5 the price, etc.). Go check it out. Support local business. True America, right there.

Went to this establishment tonight. The web information said they were open until 5:30. When I arrived at 4:49 pm, an older man was just leaving. As I started up the steps, he told me they were closed and pointed to the sign on the door. The sign stated they closed at 5:00 pm. I politely said that it was only 4:49. He asked what I needed. When I told him, he stated that was at the back of the store and they were closed. This is no way to run a business. If your hours are until 5, and that is what your door states, you should be open until 5. Also, I got the impression that if my item had been at the front of the store I’d have been allowed in to purchase it. Terrible customer service. I will never go to this establishment again.
