This shop has different things not like the others that have pretty much the same souvenirs. I was able to get some decorations for my home and my husbands Fathers Day gift. The manager is a delightful woman who was so helpful. I would recommend that you go to this place and just look and look and look and while youre at it spend some of your money. I dont think youll be disappointed.

This is a very cool knickknack type store. There are all sorts of things here and they are relatively inexpensive. Great for gifts for all your friends back home! Check it out!

Nice shop located near our hotel. My husband bought a sweatshirt. The lady at checkout was friendly & welcoming to us & our dog.

Don’t be fooled by the generic Maine souvenirs and novelty T-shirts in the main window display, this shop has a lot more hiding inside. The store itself has been kept mostly in its original form as an old butcher shop and even has an old refrigerated display as a front counter and tracks on the ceiling in the back that was used to transport meat. Also in the rear of the store is a treasure trove of interesting items including recreation (and some genuine) military clothes and satchels, compressed hand towels in their original packaging from a Swiss airline, an assortment of old postcards that date back to the early 1900’s, a bin full of various patches ranging from soviet military insignias, local soccer and football clubs, and defunct pharmaceutical company logos, and a bunch of other interesting items. There is even an authentic 1900’s safe in the back that you can take a crack at opening for a prize. A rare hidden gem of Bar Harbor that is well worth a visit.

My husband (a veteran) took my son in here for a souvenir knowing they have some military surplus items; my son admires our military & his daddy. Today is the day the CDC ruled if we were vaccinated we didnt have to wear masks, which is also what their sign read. The elderly grey haired woman was a horrid person and attempted to yell at us, even though we had our vaccination cards on us. After realizing she was wrong, she started to make a scene and yell at our 4 year old for not wearing a mask properly. DO NOT SHOP HERE! Talk about anti-American in every way.

Kid running the store insulted someone I was with for not wearing a mask when they have a medically valid reason not too. Asking to put on politely is one thing but calling them rude and selfish is another story. Hope whomever he reports to is happy about having 5 people put down what they were going to buy and leaving.

I enjoyed looking at all of the items in the store. The clerk was indifferent & seemed irritated when pulled away from her video to ring up my purchase. She did not bother saying thank you. This has been my first encounter with a rude person since arriving in Maine 5 days ago.

This is a good shop for souvenirs. The offer is a bit different compared to other shops. Youll find slightly different t-shirts and things for kids.

Do not let your kids in here. The staff is rude to children and down right mean when something small ($15) is broken. If you dont want children touching the merchandise then make note of that. Even when i offered to pay for it right away they were mean. Accidents happen, life goes on, you dont have to be a bad person. Wont be going back.

Check your receipt when you check out. Items ringing up more than they are marked and they will not correct it. (Just saying)
