I was just in Ellsworth Chainsaw looking for a Briggs and Stratton carborator or a rebuild kit. I found the guy at the counter to be rude and not really interested in helping me out. He needed the model numbers which I don’t have and cannot get, if I had them, I could order the parts online myself. He gave me about 10 excuses on why he couldn’t help me but not one on how he could help me. Don’t worry I will never return or recommend.
Ive been buying my saws from Ellsworth Chain Saw for over 25 years.I came in with my NEW saw,a Husky. Told the front deck it started hard after it warmed up. The story came back that it could be this it could be that, with no real interest in my problem. I asked if they could take a quick look to see if was something simple.At that point I was told I could leave the saw and it would be 4 or 5 weeks to get it looked at.Hello new saw simple problem. I have trees feld down and need to get when to market. Not happy as I took my Husky 450 and left.

Im a HUGE fan of Ellsworth Chain Saw. I bought my first string trimmer from them in 1999, and it finally died at the end of last summer in 2019. I dutifully took it there for maintenance every few years for 20 years, so the owner could breathe life into it and keep her goin. Ill be buying my next new trimmer in a few weeks from Ellsworth Chain Saw, you should too!
The owner is definitely there for the customer. The other counter person, not so much. But overall a great place to have maintenance done on small engines.
GOT everything snow blower. Chainsaw and most everything else from parts and have work done on equipment.
I live quite close to the shop but would gladly travel miles and miles for the friendly, knowledgeable service and fair pricing.
Pretty long waiting time if you drop off a tool to be repaired for very basic fixes. It took 3 weeks to get my chainsaw back and all it needed was a new primer bulb. If you are trying to get a tool repaired and its something simple I would recommend just doing it yourself. If you are buying a tool/part this is a great option.

Love this place! They sold me a Stihl chainsaw, which has performed beautifully, and theyre always helpful and cheerful. Way cheaper too than my last chainsaw shop!
It has been my to go place in the area, when I had first moved to the area it was highly recommended to me and they have not let me down! I was once in need to have auger blades sharpened and I took them here and I had gotten a call that they were ready; However when I traveled from out of the area to pick them up they couldnt be located. They were very apologetic and were quick to resolve the situation, they had opened a package of brand new blades and installed them right away! In case you were wondering I was only charged the original sharpening price!
Best place to go for chain saw or any small engine machine! They are the real deal they are fair and honest and know there stuff inside and out. I will not go any where else!
Took my saw in for a 10 hour checkup came back doing the same exact thing brought it back tried to charge me for parts and labor haha

Dropped my chainsaw off, waited two weeks and they didnt even know my chainsaw was there. I called them asking about it and they told me they dont service my brand (jonsered). They fixed it anyway but all I needed was a gas line, and I was charged 60 bucks for what took them only 45 minutes to complete.
