My first time here and the line was out the door and down the block. Authentic Mexican Cuisinethat taste like someone abuelo from Mexico in the back cooking himself. Good food and the homemade fruit juice are a nice addition to wash everything down with and mix with a little tequila 🔥🔥🔥🔥definitely will return for TACO TUESDAY 🌮 more often

The food is so delicious, everything on the menu is fire, I could eat this food everyday.. good thing I dont live in Minneapolis or I would be obese LOL.. bottom line is that you have to try this at least once! I recommend the steak quesadilla because it is my favorite

It’s great tacos!!You know when you have birrieria tacos, and there is a lot of fat and skin?These tacos don’t have that, the meat is perfectly cooked, consumé rich with flavor. Could use a bit more salt for me, but I love salty.

This place is amazing. Great service. We got all sorts of tacos and some quesadillas. Make sure you get the cup to dip in because it’s the best. I think this is the best place in Minneapolis for this type of food. Highly recommend

Some amazing dishes and excellent prices make this a new regular stop for me. Excited to see them here in the community and I hope they can keep up the excellence. Portions are great, the price is right, the staff is friendly and helpful and parking is as good as it gets on this side of town. Great experience.

So good!! look to spend about 12 to 15 bucks with a drink. It is worth it though.. Long lines, but quick service when order is in. Clean and an absolute treat!

Amazing, authentic food. If you havent had birrias tacos you should try them (with the soup for dipping) it was busy and hot inside on Saturday, waited in line for over 30 minutes but the wait was worth it. I also appreciated how there seemed to be all walks of life eating there. People were friendly. You can eat there or take your food to go. I wasnt impressed with the young female at the cashier, she was rude but the gentleman that helped us and middle-aged female were extremely kind. We will definitely be back. If I find that rude chick Ima get her name. We tipped $7 for take out, we deserve to not be treated like a bother. Definitely getting birrias tacos again

Have been here twice for birria tacos. Theyre so good, Ive never ordered anything else! I have tried other types of tacos off my friends plate and the lengua was really good- super tender and not chewy at all.

Best birria tacos I ever had. The place itself is a little run down and it is extremely hot inside but in my opinion the food was definitely worth it. I order the birria tacos with a steak quesadilla. The presentation of the food was great and the quality was reeaaally good. The staff was nice and patient. It seems like it is typically extremely busy so be prepared to wait at least 20-35 minutes for your food. I would definitely return! I wish they would offer margaritas. I think it would pair perfect with the food.

Very good tacos and both the lemonade and the hibiscus were great. Would definitely go back, the cashiers/servers were very nice and handled any complaints with tact and grace. Disappointed in the tacos. They were super dry loaded with tons of onion and cilantro. Broth was tasteless. I placed my order online 30 minutes prior to picking up and when I came, there was only two customers that just finished eating and I still had to wait about 10 minutes. I drove 30 minutes out to come grab my dinner only to be disappointed. Never coming back again .

We ordered their birria tacos, really enjoyed consomé!! highly recommended! delicious filling in the tacos. Went on a friday night and the wait was 30+ minutes. the store did not strictly follow covid rules, though. the restaurant was jam packed with customers waiting for their orders. I would recommend going on non peak hours and avoid fridays and weekends.

This review is for the food truck location next to the wedge co-op:A few days ago, I had the best tacos Ive ever had, or at least not a long time since Ive then in Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona! today I went over there, and head the juiciest quesadilla to ever bless my taste buds!the service was fast, and the staff is very charismatic and friendly! And they also know very friendly people!dont waste your time with places like taco cat which is watered-down Tex-Mex. Get genuine, authentic Mexican food made for the people by the people!

This is the place in Minneapolis to get Birria Tacos! They do get quite busy, but service is quick. They also have a large selection of Agua Frescas which goes great with the tacos! Pro tip: when you order 5 tacos they will throw in the Consomé for free.

Got the birria tacos with consome. This is the second place I have gotten birria tacos and they are just as good as the first time!! The tacos were crispy, delicious and the consome was a great addition! Have already gone back once and will continue to frequent without a doubt!

Food was delicious, but the orders for the three of us came out one dish at a time. I was half way done eating mine (quesadilla - very good flavor and HUGE!) before the next dish came out for person #2 and #3 sat without food. About 15 minutes later told one of the food runners we were missing the birria taco order. A bit later they dropped off the food, but it was chicken. Too hungry to complain. Was very busy, though, and mistakes get made. Will definitely go back to give it another try!

Taqueria y Birrieria Las Cuatro Milpas has THE best tacos in the Twin Cities! Everything there is amazing. My favorite things to order there are their birria tacos, ceviche tostada, and the agua frescas (YUM!). Owner Francisco is one of the kindest, most hardworking people youll ever meet.

They had NO FLAVOR, I ordered two ordersof them beef and goat🙄 the soup that came with it NO flavor as well, taco John’s regular tacos has more flavors then these had! They seem like a really good restaurant but they definitely need to step up the flavors for these tacos to be better! I’m a fan of soul reaching FLAVORS and this didn’t even touch my heart😭 please update your recipe for more flavor, I’d like to retry and hopefully update my review in the future

Lack of Organization.I called an order in @ 1 pm for pickup at 1:50 pm. I knew that they are always busy so I wanted to give them a chance to make my order right. The previous two times I ordered my food with out onions and tomatoes and both times they have had it on them. Today I get there 1:48 pm and they forgot that they had to make my food. Instead of admitting to the mistake they chose to lie and say o we were so busy. I sat out in my car for 15 min prior to my order puck up time and saw a couple go in order and take home their food. The cashier was gutsy enough to become upset when I confronted her about the mess up and the lie. If the food wasnt so good I wouldnt come back. Your service needs some fixing.

That makes it more authentic. Nice to choose booths or table.The menu is extensive and I tried ceviche and tacos and both were amazing. The ceviche plate was pleasantly surprising. Might be the best ceviche plate I have had in all of twin cities.Flavors were right on point.During my visit seems AC gets short with all the windows and a really warm day outside, this should be a minor thing happening maybe 4 weeks in a whole year in Minneapolis.As with many restaurants I prefer refillable soda station. Overall the place is perfect with flavors and value. I will be a regular for sure.

I ordered birria tacos and one steak taco. I had them delivered to me.They were literally the SMALLEST tacos I’ve ever seen! I feel cheated! How can you charge $2.75 each for these VERY miniature tacos. I’ve order birria tacos from about 3 other restaurants in south Minneapolis and received normal sized tacos. I will never order from this place again👎

Very popular taco place in MPLS. The food is delicious, but every time we order our tacos they literally forget the corn or a Taco.Their Way to under staffed for the level of business they receive. Not attentive to the orders they take. Check your orders before you leave. Well be trying another Birrieria Taco place in St Paul.

Usually I hit up their truck on Lyndale, but decided to venture to the restaurant for some quesabirria. Was not disappointed. Great service and excellent Mexican cuisine. Cant wait for the new location in Bloomington.

It was a 35 minute wait, but when I tell you that the food was WELL worth the wait. I mean it. Absolutely fantastic.

The food here is amazing and the price is very good. The facility itself is clean including the restrooms. Location was great too, we ate too much good and theres a lot of very lovely local shops across the street so we could walk around for awhile before leaving.

Amazing people great food today was my first time going the staff are so nice. I’m Muslim and it was prayer time when I went there the store was playing music and Muslims can’t pray with music playing in the area so I asked the staff if they could help me out by turning it off for a couple of minutes and they were so understanding and turned it off for me I did not expect that from a store to be so A”accommodating I have so much respect for them for that I would definitely come back great food and even better people. DO NOT GET THE MENUDO. Tacos were great, even the cashier said “menudo” was made with pork (not beef-goes to show how much they know what they’re selling). She ordered the menudo, usually fresh or reheated tastes good, hers tasted like it was from last week. And sorry to say this- but if you have a taqueria, make sure you have FRESH LIMES for the tacos and not ones that are dry and have no juice in them. Her family is from the area and even they said it wasn’t what everyone else and the reviews made it out to be. I’ll give it two stars because the tacos are great and so was the birria, but without fresh limes and the other choices weren’t that fresh/flavorful, don’t call yourself a Mexican restaurant. I don’t want to pay money to risk another experience like that.
