Nice place! Staff were friendly, place was clean, and they had the essentials for a lot of different activities (biking, climbing, Frisbee golf). We visited in the summer, so I cant vouch for winter activities. Prices were on par too.

They are pretty nice folks, got my new trek fx-1 there the other day, they let me test ride it for a few miles down the road, gave me 10% off accessories, and basically offered a free tune up once I got it broken in, they did kinda look at me like I was smoking a crack pipe when I said I wanted an XL frame for my hobbit sized self but... I like big bikes and I cannot lie

I bought a fat tire ebike directly from China through Alibaba. It was delivered in pieces in a crate with instruction to have it assembled by a professional. I called up Wildside and they agreed to do it even though some of the components were not familiar to them. They did a wonderful job and showed a great deal of interest in it. While in their shop I noticed that all jobs and all customers received the same exemplar service from them.

Was going on a climbing trip to Devils Lake and was disappointed to learn there were no bolted routes (I only knew sport climbing and top-roping on bolted anchors). Called this place on the drive to see if they had the equipment so I could at least get some practice in and maybe climb another day. Jeff answered the phone and said he would not only be able to get us set up with the necessary equipment ment, but that he would happily teach us to set up natural anchors safely at the store. We barely missed Jeff (hope your chiropractor appointment went well), but another man at the shop, whos name I didnt catch, helped us with the same things. We left with new gear and skills; he showed us how to place protection in cracks on a curb outside the shop.At Devils Lake we did a bunch of practicing on smaller boulders and eventually felt good climbing on a 3-point anchor, two on stoppers in cracks and one 3W2P around a tree. It was so damn fun to climb on a natural anchor and feel safe about it.Huge thanks to you guys, and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for gear or help.

Words cannot describe. These folks SAVED ME. I was doing a cross wisco bike tour and got a flat. An employee used his *personal vehicle* to go out and scoop my godforsaken bike 8mi away. He then fixed my tire in a timely and careful manner. I waited outside and ate egg salad lol. Cost was below expected value and service was above and beyond. I dont know where Id be without this shop!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!

Bought a great trek roscoe 7 even in tough times with nearly no new bikes!! Everyone there treats us very well and even puts up with me being there nonstop asking questions etc since I’m a newb rider. Great shop too!

Baraboo is blessed to have such a great small business like this. The staff is always extremely helpful both when they know the answer to your question but also humble enough to refer to their coworkers when one has more expertise. This is the place to take your bike if want it to be maintained professionally. Cant believe its right here in Baraboo. They do basic wellness maintance for about $35.00 and then replacing worn parts is obviously extra. A steal when you consider the value of a professionally maintained, safe bicycle. They also have the products I need to keep my bike going through the season. The bike selection is really nice and they are stocked with quality brands.

The staff at Wildside are exceptional: they convinced me to tune up my daughters bike for a memorial bike ride for Kirk Jiannacopoulos, my husband - her father, who was killed in March 2017 and was a long time customer of Wildside. They helped install my new computer, cleaned my chain, did the tune-up in 2 days for us and graciously, generously donated their time to these endeavors. Go to Wildside. You will not regret it.

Wildside Action Sports in Baraboo recently completed a very difficult repair to my vintage bicycle. I would highly recommend especially Brad in the Service Department for any repairs you need. If its difficult they can do it, if its impossible it will just take them a little longer.

I think this store is awesome.. the guys there were very helpful and patient. Im very thankful we have this place in baraboo.

We flew from Portland Oregon to Green Bay Wisconsin and I had some spokes go loose without tools on my Reynolds 58 carbon wheels. They stayed open late for me, got everything fixed. Great pricing too. Thanks Jared!

Helpful and a young mechanic fixed a problem my regular bike shop didn’t do correctly, when they replaced my brakes. I had also had to move the brake pads as they were not centered on the rim.

Pete and his staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. If you want to get help being a better cyclist, this is the place to go.

I went into the shop to see if they had any SUP’s as it’s an adventure company. The guy at the door was rude and looked at us as though we were bothering him for even stepping in the store. When I asked him about SUP’s he said”nope, all we have are bikes” so if you are looking for any adventure equipment don’t bother going to this shop. Sucks because I was trying to give my business to local shops but was treated better at a ghetto Walmart next door.

Wildside saved me on a 326 mile touring ride. RIght in Baraboo my left pannier got caught in my back tire and ripped all the way up the seam. I was fortunate enough to be just a few blocks from a bike shop (Wildside). They did have some panniers for sale but I didnt quite want to drop the dough on a brand new set if my own could be salvaged and the ones they had werent quite what I was looking for.The younger guy in the shop grabbed some zip ties and patched up my entire pannier all along the seam. He spent a good amount of time fixing this up without pressuring me to make a sale. It was certainly lending a helping hand without asking for anything in return. Hoping this good review will give them some due karma and bring in some good patronage.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced! Went in to get a flat repaired and the mechanic broke the cylinder for the pedals. We waited over an hour while he was assisting other customers that came in after me and then instead of fixing the flat he broke something else. I called the owner and he was no help, he offered to sell me a new bike.
