It’s ridiculous how slow this company operates.Update:Picked up my firearm from my FFL in a hurry because I was running late for a wedding & when I got home to inspect it the gun had scratches down the barrel, the stock had a nick in it & the buttstock screws were rusted. This was supposed to be a brand new firearm & it does not look that way. Contacted the company & I still haven’t heard anything back which isn’t surprising all things considered.

Pretty cool place with a large selection, not just guns. They had knives, hunting stuff, safes and gun accessories, and even lawnmowers. Went at a busy time so had to wait a while for my number to be called (not their fault) but plenty of stuff to browse through. Kevin at the gym counter was very nice and had me in and out in no time. This may not be fair review, but when ammo prices are 4 to 5 times higher then what I consider a normal high price. I have issues. Not sure if their being gouged by suppliers or their gouging there customers. But I have no patience for anyone that is screwing over the end customer just due to desperation. My current shops are charging an extra 5 or 10 percent when they have supplies. But there shelves are empty of ammo when Kentucky Guns have partial pallets. The only thing I know for sure, this store will never see shadow again

I was not very pleased with communication as they never responded to my email I sent the day after my order was placed regarding a misprint in their ad. The shotgun also arrived with a scratch in the finish but was not worth the hassle of dealing with for what I paid.

Good price. I was notified that the item was in stock and ready to be purchased however NO notification of my rifle had shipped and delivered to academy sports 3 days before I called to inquire.I had previously called a week earlier and was told that I would be e-mailed with tracking information.

I love what I got and the price was fantastic. However, my payment did not go through even though I got confirmation it processed. I had to call in a week later that took four calls (totalling 3 hours of hold time) and two chats (never responded to) to get it corrected. I spoke with Jacob F. who was great and very helpful. He was able to get my payment to go through while on the phone. He was also very responsive on email after I had to check back in as I was a day over the second quoted time of shipment.Though I got what I ordered it took 2.5 weeks. I recently purchased a similar item with the same shipping restrictions from a major online retailer who is a competitor and they were able to get it delivered in exactly one week.I appreciate the price and customer service I received, but would have rather not had to reach out to customer service and have the payment and shipping to go through and stay on track.

Ordered a 20 gauge shotgun from KyGunCo when I couldnt find a single gun like it in stock anywhere else. Ordered and paid online and shipped it to an FFL near me. Customer service email is a little slower than I would like (took 24 hours to respond both times I reached out), but overall satisfied with the process. I do wish, though, they would send a this is what happens next email rather than just an invoice immediately following the purchase. Would definitely consider using them again in the future.

I ordered a rifle on Sep 1 and by Oct, it hadnt reached the gun dealer via FedEx. I realize these things happen. So I emailed KGC: no response. I called KGC: never picked up. I left a message through their online chat: finally talked to someone who said theyd research it and get back to me - never heard back. I called and again, they didnt pickup. Maybe their customer service is great in person but for shipments, my customer service was almost non-existent. Gonna go call FedEx now. If they can remedy this problem, Ill change my review (if it matters).

Have a lot of gun options. Prices seemed about the same prices as other stores. If you use credit card the add a three percent merchant fee. This is normally part of doing business and is absorbed within each purchase, reducing cost for those using credit cards. I do not care for the way this policy is implemented. We did not purchase anything. Have a nice target range.

I recently used the layaway option to purchase a pretty nice firearm Ive been wanting for a while. They had it cheaper than anywhere else I looked, that even had it in stock. It also came with 10 extra magazines. Definitely cannot beat that. Anyways, It was really nice being able to make payments until I own it. I will definitely be buying my next gun from here. Great service as always. Received my Taurus 627 quickly shipped to Cover Your Six in Johnson City TN. The 627 has a really smooth trigger when dry firing but havent shot it at range yet. The Kentucky gun company is the best ! ! I could barely find this rifle anywhere online. After looking for hours, I found it at an auction website for $1700. Found it here at Kentucky gun company for around $1350. I did not know anything about this company. Theyre listed in the better Business bureau as a fantastic company. So, I took a chance and ordered this rifle Thursday night at 9:00 p.m. going into a holiday weekend. So, that means they really didnt receive the order until Friday morning. They received my order, processed it, and shipped this rifle before close of business Friday !! Thats 1 day ! Monday was a holiday and I received my brand new rifle early Wednesday afternoon. They already had my FFL dealers info on file so I did not have to mess around with getting them paperwork like other companies. Some companies have youre running around faxing or emailing youre FFL paperwork to them and half the time they dont receive it the first time and you have to send it again. The rifle showed up in perfect condition. Over many years I have purchased many firearms online through different companies. But, this was the absolute best experience out of all of them. This will not be the last firearm I purchased from Kentucky gun company, it is only the first.

Never purchased a firearm online before. Kygunco made it easy and swift. They had the rifle I wanted for $200 less and don’t charge sales tax so I no doubt saved another $100 there. They shipped the firearm for free which probably saved me an additional $15-$20 as well. The communication (via email and messenger specifically) could definitely be a bit more regular. However I understand they are most likely pretty busy so I’m not holding any grudges. I had an issue with payment which delayed my firearm shipping for just over a week but was mostly the fault of my bank. kygunco did take 4 days to let me know my payment had failed though which I thought was a bit long but better than my bank I guess considering they denied a payment from my card but didn’t contact me to tell they were assuming suspicious activity.Overall: paid over $300 less. Firearm took 6 days to process and 3 days to ship. Got the firearm I wanted in beautiful condition. I would recommend this place to friends looking to purchase firearms or ammunition online.

Great place to do business with. Very few places offer the ability to put items on layaway. This is specially helpfully when you live in such a restrictive state like NJ.
