Went here for rear brake replacement as their estimate came in HUNDREDS below what the dealer wanted. Staff was super friendly and the work was done in the estimated time - not a minute over! Nice spacious waiting area with comfy couches and tv. Will definitely be back for maintenance and any other repairs!

Exceptional service each and every time! Im a traveler in the area, now for a year. Ive taken my vehicle to Routhier for all my service needs. Always polite and inviting on the phone. Each time I walk through the door Im greeted with smiles, accommodating attitudes, and fast, quality service.

Front desk was very friendly and polite same with Chris. Only reason for the two star is it is over priced I went in one day and the mechanic told me it would take 5 hours to replace the lower control arms. I understand it needs an Alignment after but it doesn’t take 5 hours to undo and redo 6 bolts, 3 per control arm. My husband came home from Iraq a month later and had it done himself in about a hour.

Brakes were starting to grind so brought the car in for brake job. turned out rear breaks just needed cleaning and adjustment. they have always taken care of me

In planning your visit be sure to arrive 30 plus minutes before posted closing time if you want a basic oil change. I arrived 25 minutes before closing and they refused to change my oil stating it was too late for one. This was in the spring when they still had Saturday hours. They don’t now so if you work a 9-5 work week you’ll have to go to Vermont Quick Lube. They’re open from 7:30-3:00 on Saturdays.

I am always skeptical of auto mechanics, so it takes me some time to say “that’s my place!” But I can truly say routhiers is great place for all my cars and truck. Chris is a nice friendly young man with beautiful blues eyes! He takes the time to show you what is wrong with your vehicle and is dedicated to giving you the best service possible. If you are not happy with your current auto care or just starting your search for a great mechanics, give this place a chance. The whole staff is friendly and the work is done in a timely fashion. :)))

Great service from Chris. I called and he was able to put two tires on wheels during the first week of November during the first snow of the year.

Great place for an oil change with a fair price. Hasnt asked me to do services that i didnt know needed to be done in the first place, for once they seem to have trust worthy - will certainly be retuning for regular mantainince.

Scammy place. Buyer beware. A friend brought her car in for inspection. They failed her for worn brakes. And proceeded to quote a ridiculous repair. Only problem is I changed the rotors and pads all around before she took the car directly there. Im reporting them to dmvDo not trust them, they are weasels and will try to steal from you.

They sold me a lemon and they have a terrible reputation dont be fooled by the reviews. My car needed new brakes two weeks after purchase. Do yourself a favor and dont go here!

This is review is about an experience when I purchased a vehicle from here that was a lemon in many ways. An inspection sticker on the vehicle that experied at the end of that current month was on the vehicle. Assuming that this vehicle is inspected and on the lot I assumed (dangerous business to assume anything) the vehicle to be in the condition that is required of vehicles in the state of Vermont. The law reads a vehicle is for public highway use for the safe ferrying of passengers. The laws of merchantability applied in this case. A merchant who sells their goods must be in good repair and as Vermont law states for the safe ferrying of passengers. After purchasing the vehicle during one of the most bizarre sales experiences Ive ever witnessed (coming from a former car salesman). I am not disclosing names or information but just know it would of put most people on the edge of their seat. The next day the starter went. I called a local company to have it towed. Before the tow man hooked up he showed me the hole in the FRAME. I contacted the business to report my experience. I was told they could do me the favor of repairing the part but that was extending passed thier reasonable accomadations of sales. When I spoke to this business and offered to them to swap the vehicle because i was not going to keep this unsafe vehicle for my FAMILY I was told that wasnt an option. Leaving that situation frustrated from work I went home to relax. That evening I recieved a call from the tow operator asking me if I wanted my money back. Of course I said yes and was given the DMV inspectors information. The next day I contacted and arranged for the vehicle to be inspected. Not only did the DMV investegator discover the hole in the frame but over double digit violations on that one particular vehicle. I could see the hair on the investagitors neck standing. When seen at the municpalities a representative of the dealership says you dont have a case. After legal procedure I was able to resolve the issues. After the judgment there is a time for the defedants to repay in Vermont or it would be considered contempt. I was not spoken to or agreed to terms of payment till day 29 after 3 weeks of making attempts to collect the repayment of goods purchased; on the 29th day I was given a story that will not be retold about the inability to pay in full. I find it hard to believe such an outstanding business would have the difficulty to repay the amount of money in discussion considering it was one of the more inexpensive vehicles on the lot they had. It took over 8 months to see the full amount of restititution. I walked to work 4 miles away almost everyday for 2 months. My complaint was filed one week after purchase and took 8 months to resolve. Please consider many factors when purchasing a vehicle. The business did rectify the situation but in my opinion if they cared about me more than my money I would of not of seen the length of time I did for its resolution. A broken clock is right twice day so they may have a decent ones on their lot but I would advise buyer beware after my experience with this establishment.

Only come here if you want to pay substantially more than a dealership will charge you, and if you dont mind being treated like an idiot if youre a female.

Sold my friend a faulty jeep that required over $2000 worth of repairs after telling her it had no problems. Frame was patched, transmission was shot, and underside was covered in rust, just to name a few issues. At first offered to help cover costs, then changed their tune and said she was lying. The worst part - if they knew about the issues (which they should since they owned it and were selling it) then they knowingly sold her a dangerous automobile that could have caused serious bodily harm. Shameful.

So I went there about 5-6 weeks ago for a oil change. Got there got right in.. As Im waiting the owner came out and said that they had a mishap with my car. Explained to me that there is a new tech and when he went to back off the lift the front tire went off and broke my front bumper. I was glad he was truthful to me and told me. He said that they would fix it and that I would not have to pay for my oil change. They did do that. Well Thursday my car started to make a ticking noise (mind you I have owned my car for 2 years always had my oil change done and NEVER had a problem) so today we took it for a oil change.. We were told that there was only about 1/4 of a quart of oil left in my car and the oil filter was never but on tight. It had to be them they were the last ones to do a oil change and mind you that the oil change wasnt due for another 500 miles. We go every 3000-4000 miles for a oil change NOT once has anyone of came out to tell us the car was low on oil..except this time.. If we had not taken the car in today for a oil change ( not here either) the motor would have blown up.. And we would have been left with no car and a payment still. I believe if you have a new tech maybe you need to check there work. We have gone to Walmart in Woodsville for years and NEVER have had a problem... Sorry but I will never go there again and if I were you I wouldnt either...
