Delicious cookies. Impeccable customer service, and a very welcoming atmosphere and staff.
Horrible coffee, and most importantly absolutely worst service. People who work here are super rude and unprofessional. Donβt come here if you donβt want to ruin your day.
Itβs a bakery in an artsy neighborhood. But they canβt write happy birthday on a cake. You have to order in advance.9:30am order for a 3:00pm pickup wasnβt enough time.Iβve never heard of such a thing.
Visited the Industry City Location. Beautiful space, but I was very underwhelmed by the vanilla cake with chocolate frosting. The cake was slice upon request. However when I took first bite the cake was dense and dry. Frosting was ok but extremely sweet.
There was a very crowded coffee itβs good, patisserie very good. Barista needs to have help because canβt control the people that take others coffee & food. When I claim for my scone that apparently was taken by someone as well one of my cappuccino order the person in the cashier argued with me I didnβt took anything of my order. Usually I wait to have full order in my hand. She described the person who took the stuff and it wasnβt in my part. I donβt think that is the way to treat a costumerβ¦..
Small cappuccino but good one, comfortable sitting area indoors and outside as well, nice place.
Great place to hang out if the Dumbo crowds are too much. Great deserts and they care enough to pit coffee ice cubes in your iced coffee.
This is an amazing coffee shop. They have some good coffee, as well some amazing cookies. We took the lemon scone, which is a good recommendation! The staff is friendly, there is plenty of seating area and the pastries are fresh. They have an own cookbook with the same name as the shop, and they are well situated in the Brooklyn area, close to the famous street where you can shoot a picture with the Manhattan bridge.Prices are fair and absolutely not expensive. A real recommendation to visit this place when in New York.
I waited wayyy too long for my small order - a few espresso shots on ice. Especially for being in the store with 2 other customers at 9:15 in the morning. Unimpressed and disappointed - the location is adorable, the service is slow
Tremendous atmosphere. The cupcakes are sublime. Love this place.
Stopped by for some small treats. The espresso chocolate cookie was good but the lemon scone was normal, more like a biscuit texture.
Nice coffee shop in Brooklyn with great atmosphere. Its the right place when in Brooklyn to grab a coffee and a something to eat. Try the raspberry muffins it is really good. In great location between Manhattan and Brooklyn bridge. The staff is really friendly and coffee is great. You will enjoy it.
11.18.17 - Friendly and fast service. Their pumpkin and chocolate whoopie pies are great! Unfortunately, we didnt try their coffee, but its a crowded location so its either very good or the location is popular among the locals. The views are of the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges and Main Street Park and Pebble Beach.
Staff was super nice and friendly! The pasties and cookies were DELICIOUS. I tried 3 different ones and all were equally delightful. They also had cute handmade items and gifts. Must stop here!
Delish! I got the little tea cookies. Yum Yum!!
Lovely . I will be back very soon. Chocolate chip cookies were amazing. Customer service even better
A lot of room to work inside and outside with a solid wifi connection in a central location.
Today was my first time visiting, and boy oh boy was it memorable! I ordered an iced chai latte and it was the best one ive ever had. My interaction with the barista was great. I dont quite remember her name, but I remember that it started with the letter m. She was very sweet and provided me with great service (not to mention how cute she was) Definitely will come back here again.
Lovely place, kind personel and delicious both cookies and coffee!
Nice place, great attention
Lovely, lovely place. They seem to have a standard selection of small cookies, but they also have a rotating selection of other American pastries. I would say that the wait was a bit long for a short line, but during the long wait, they put out a freshly baked chocolate orange pecan pie that made it all worth it. I had a lemon bar as well which was good, but the pie was amazing.I enjoyed their coffee too. Also, prices were surprisingly reasonable.
This place is legitimately one of my favorite coffee shops in Brooklyn. Ultra cool staff who are always very friendly and make a perfect cappuccino. I think the cookies steal the spotlight from how good their baristas are.
Good scones but cmon no restroom for paying customers ?
Whenever I get the chance, I always come to this cafe every time. Its just one of those places where you have to come unconditionally.
Love this place. Great lattes! Perfect pastry go withs. (Theyre very tiny pastries.) Actually their sandwiches are delicious as well. Friendly and fun staff. Great decor. Room for laptops but no outlets. Good place to send those out of office emails or writing your thank you letters.
REALLY unhappy with todays morning staff. Definitely wont be returning though I work across the street. Diva behind the counter thinks shes Naomi Campbell or something. If youre too good to WORK, then dont.
A fairly standard coffee shop offering the usual caffeinated drinks and a selection of treats. The prices for drinks are typical of Manhattan/DUMBO, so dont expect to pay less than $5 for a cup of coffee. The service was courteous, and there was plenty of seating to work or have a conversation. Overall, a solid choice for a treat or a cup of coffee.
Lovely people and prices are reasonable because of the location but the coffee is well done, love the taste of their coffee.
Great place for quick break!! Coffee and cookies are delicious. Also the sandwiches at lunch time sold out too fast so be early and grab one, itβs cold sandwiches but flavorful sandwiches I could say.
Delish
Stopped in here for a coffee on the go. I liked the fact a small is actually small! Cool location, service was quick, nice bright interior.
Amazing! They serve up coffe, pastries, and cakes. Eat in, take out, or ship gift boxes. Whole cakes and slices. Gluten free and others healthy options. Lunch sandwiches and salads also available. Plenty of space to sit and relax or bring your laptop and study or work a bit. Service is exceptional. Street side parking only. Cash, debit, and credit cards accepted.
We went there for coffee and a cookie of course. The coffee (cold brew) was really good, but what was even nicer about it was the ice cubes that were in fact freezed coffee which was fun and didnt ruin the coffee in the way ice cubes usually do.The cookies were good, but nothing more. I expected more from a place called one girl cookies. With that being said, Id still recommend it for coffee and cookies. The vibes were pleasant as well, if you manage to catch a table (cause there are just a few)
I was looking for a place like this for my stay in NYC. Its a perfect cafe to enjoy a good cup of coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate or tea. They also have wine and beer. The cookies are great and they have some cakes as well. The atmosphere is great, the interior is white, decorated nicely and with big windows which offer a good lightning. Perfect place for studying or working remotely.Definitely check it out!
Very good coffee and desserts
A chill location where you can meet up and enjoy coffee as well as bite sized snacks like pastries, cupcakes, etc.Its reasonably priced and the staff is friendly, however, the open air layout makes it impossible to have a candid conversation.
We saw a long line and the word cookie and we immediately stopped in. Excited to get a good cookie or baked good! We waited in line for maybe 10 minutes. Got the lemon bar and the pumpkin whoopie. Iβm sorry but it was not good...not good at all. From first bite, we were immediately disappointed. The flavors just werenβt there and the quality was very bad. We couldnβt even finish. And the cookies were so small! Iβm realizing now they are tea cookies but damn- shouldnβt you have a solid phat choco chip cookie at a place thatβs legit called βone girl cookieβ? Safe to say you shouldnβt stop in here for a baked good. If youβre into bite sized cookies get in there. Seems like a better place for coffee and meeting with a friend.
I have many more good experiences here than poor ones. It depends on who is working, but you can usually get a lovely cup of coffee and some nice cookies and enjoy them in a good atmosphere. It can get get crowded and there is somewhat limited seating, but overall I really like this place and due to the convenient location, keep coming back.
Tried the pumpkin whoopie pie and coffee. The pie was okay, but the coffee can be better. Nice seating area to relax after a good long walk across the bridge.
Really liked the space, open and modern. Nice selection of cupcakes and cookies. We only tried the cookies and while they were good they were not great. Seemed like many had been in the display case for a bit longer than they should have been, cookies were hard. Lemon bars were really good though, as were the brownies, but probably wont go back for the cookies unfortunately.
Absolutely horrible place.I used to go here when it first opened. A time when they needed custom and it was friendly and warm.Walked in today, said hello to the two staff behind the counter and was totally ignored. No seats free, at least 50% of them were occupied by either someone taking a selfie or someone making a latte last 3 hours.Stood miles away from the restroom to wait and was then rudely asked by a member of staff, one who had ignored me 2 minutes earlier but had now discovered a new found interest in me, that he βwantedβ to keep the area around the restroom free. Not sure why though - as I was nowhere near it and no one was queuing for it. Thought maybe he needed it as a back up mirror for himself in case his iPhones front facing camera malfunctioned. It took me a second to understand what he was saying as I was busy trying to decipher what year his clothes had been in fashion. Perhaps 2014?So I walked out. Clearly they didnβt want my custom. My message to the owners of this place - and Iβve got 35 years experience here so please do listen.Train your staff a little bit better?Avoid this place like the plague.
Great coffee, great cake (I had Carrot and Chocolate brownie with melted marsh mellow on the top). Fairly busy but managed to find seating. Also has guest wi-fi.
Yum yum yum!!! Always my place to grab a cup or coffee and a sweet treat on my walks around Dumbo. Great big window looking onto the street so you can sit and gaze at the world going past as you sip up a little fresh energy!
Best place ever. We were just visiting Dumbo with my girlfriends and found the bakery. Coffee was good, baked items too. While chating, a friend was very emotional and started crying. The cashier noticed the situation and very sweetly gave a free cookie to my friend. We need more people like him. I will definitely come back.
Consider yourself lucky if you get treats as presents from One Girl Cookies. I am a big fan of their original location and so happy they have now come to Dumbo. Their whoopie pies are the absolute best. Itβs hard to decide which is better the pumpkin or chocolate so get both! The cookies are fit for a tea party. Everything is a bit pricey but well worth it. Itβs all made with love here.
I stopped by the bakery on my avocadreria (not so great) there was such a friendly female worker who sold me a slice of vanilla chocolate cake. Wow!! It was so good and moist I would post a pic but its half finished, Im saving the rest for my journey home to new Jersey.. definitely an unexpected great place!!
Staff was friendly & the hot chocolate was really good. The cupcake & small cookies werent notable but the price was. Overall, it was OK but Id only return for the beverage.
Cute, tasty, great service! I work in Dumbo and this is my favorite spot to get coffee. The atmosphere is great and theyre usually playing good tunes from the 90s. The cookies are tasty and the offer light breakfast foods if you get there early.
The tea cookies are 4 for $3.50 or so--and theres a gluten free one!
Nice cozy place to drink, to write, to work etc. The cookies are delicious, you should try.
Great atmosphere and selection of cookies and other treats! They also had excellent vegan cookies.
Nice for a snack with I go to the riverside around here. Good cookies and good coffee too.
This place is THE BEST. I tried a cortado for the first time and it was great and their chocolate cake is super tasty. Staff was hip and friendly and decor is beautiful with handmade art on every wall. Cannot recommend this place enough.
Great spot to take a break while exploring DUMBO. Coffee is pretty good...their ice cubes are coffee ice cubes! The cookies are really small so you can try a variety and the whoopie pie is also really good.
A very homely place with excellent brownies!!Loved the ambience and the location of the shop (in Dumbo Brooklyn)Do get a chocolate brownie when you are there!
The tea cookies (and lemon bars) are delicious and in perfect size to have multiples. The scones are so amazing Im convinced I wont be content with any other scone again.
Friendly staff, reasonable price, clean restroom, cute cookiesβ€οΈ
Pretty regular, good if you have a sweet tooth. Cupcakes not that moist. Nice place to stop by.
Adorable cafe. Great atmosphere and delicious muffins.
