This is not a fancy place at all, but its a good alternative to the typical fast food joint that you see throughout Barstow. Sure you can do a hamburger, but they also have good sized salads as well. Throw in a little American style Mexican food and now you have real choices. That doesnt seem very impressive until you look a round the general area, and then you will learn to appreciate this place a little more. This is one of those situations where its not so much about how good they are, but more like how good they are compared to others. BTW, their staff were very nice and helpful as well.

Large and convenient restaurant, large menu. Food was good. I had the fish dinner (cod, mashed potatoes, vegetables, salad). As good as it was there was so much food I could not finish it.
Ive never had problems with this location in the past however today was awful. Whoever the female associate was with the ponytail and the blondish hair gave the worst customer service Ive seen in a very long time. She appeared to be in her 20s and wore her hair back in a ponytail today. She had an attitude the entire time I was there. Im a doordash contractor and Im on a very tight schedule. I rely on speed and customer service. She glared while giving me service and did not have a very friendly disposition at all. This needs to be addressed because customer service is the most important thing in the hospitality industry and she has absolutely none. Not to mention she needs to pick up the pace a little bit more than she was as well. She was very very slow well moving around and putting orders together. Its almost like she just did not want to be there. She didnt even try to hurry up with my order. Again Im a doordasher and I wasnt even there for myself I was there for another customer. Please discuss this with her and teach her the right way to handle orders and customer service.
Got the Philly cheese steak sandwich, it was good till it wasnt a huge piece of fat right in the middle of a bite, if I go back wont be ordering that

You know for a burger place I feel like I order anything but their burgers here. Dont get me wrong I like the burgers but with everything they have on the menu. Today I came in for breakfast and the pork chops and eggs were cooked perfectly.
My husband and daughter love the carne asada burrito. I had a burger and it was great too. The prices are very reasonable as well. Service is quick and food is fresh.
Price was good, wasn’t as bad as i thought it would be but then it wasn’t as good either. Got the chicken burrito & the salsas they gave me were like jello, well the green one & the red salsa i didn’t like @ all. Don’t recommend this place, or @ least don’t expect too much
The food here is amazing! the fries are salty which makes them good, The non plain cheese burgers are great, We bought some club sandwiches and the ham and lettuce was outstanding, 5/5 recommend getting a non plain cheese burger with a large soda :D
This place is absolutely AMAZING! Bought the chicken avacado salad.. And it was so Huge and just plain delicious. I would recommend this place HANDS Down.. If you havent been here yet, dont miss out! You wont regret it.
I celebrated my nomination today in this great restaurant. I am glad to say that it was a delightful evening and the place was definitely the reason for the fruitful celebration. The stuff helped in a lovely manner, the food was great and my friends were very delighted. We shall absolutely visit again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.
Burger/patty was cold. Ordered Chili but they didnt state they were out of it so just charged me for another quesadilla. Will never go back.
It was ok. We had the chicken strips, but they were a bit fishy tasting. The double cheeseburger tasted ok, but nothing special. The onion rings are probably good for some people, but I didnt feel like they werent cooked long enough to be soft on the inside.

I am a Local. My family has eaten here several times but the last two times were a disappointment. I have a medical situation that limits my salt intake and was glad to hear they could make my burger combo w/o salt. My burger came w/o salt BUT the fries were covered with it! They refused to make good on their mistake (claiming I had not specifically said “fries”, I said “combo” thinking they were included in it)so my family and I must refuse to buy there anymore. Isn’t that sad, Loosing so many customers for the price of a bag of fries .Also the restrooms were not clean and were out of paper in several stalls.
Im new here in BARSTOW and I come across this Plata restaurant and I really like their food, specialy those Carne ASADA burritos, mmmmm good food, I like it .

Guys if your ever driving threw Barstow you have to pass buy n go to Barstow Burger. All their menu is delicious. I never have any complaints. What can i say the D.U.I chilly fries are to die for 2 adults can share 1 order. And the pastrami sandwich is everything. And dont get me started with the Burger combos. Go to BARSTOW BURGER. You wont regret it.

It wasnt a bad steak sandwich. I thought it a bit overcooked but that could be my fault because I dont remember asking for them to cook it rare. Many of my coworkers are in Barstow off and on for work as am I and they all say that Barstool Burger is a good place so the next time I am there I will try some of their other menu options

Had Philly sandwich it was really good. I was full after eating half of it and most of the fries.
Came on a Sunday night and my burger tasted like it was cooked on a dirty grill. Was only able to eat half of it, but 3 hours later I was having the worst food poisoning I’ve ever had and am still sick from it on Tuesday.

The guy working the window was definitely off his game we ordered and then he asked us for our order again like we were a new customer just pulling up you definitely need to pay attention to your job its customer service but the food made up for this employees inadequacy for doing his job!!

From the moment I entered the customer service was great! I was greeted and then given suggestions on what to order! The young man ringing me up was so friendly and helpful! I chose the Barstow Burger. It comes with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, avocados, pickles, onions, and thousand island dressing. It was SOOO good! I will definitely be returning to try more items on the menu!

I’m not sure what the deal is here the fries taste old and cooked in dirty grease, the pastrami sandwich was supposed to made fresh but was handed to with soggy bread on both sides. The soda wasn’t soda not sure if the machine was broken is like they gave me soda water ! Very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend!!!!
