I’ve been doing business with this dealership for a while now getting service done and recently traded in for a new Silverado and sales area is great! Can’t say that for service department, usually they would get me in no problem and get things done but went to schedule my first service for new truck Tuesday 3 days in advance for Saturday morning. Then I get a call Friday the day before my service telling me they are all booked and can’t get me in until Monday.I’m pretty busy during the week so couldn’t get anything done until next weekend. I get a business gets busy but very frustrating I didn’t get notice days before so I could book an appointment somewhere else. Guess I’ll change oil myself.

I LOVE the service department at Stingray Chevrolet of Bartow. I live in Plant City one exit from the Plant City Stingray, but drive to Bartow for service. They are so friendly and keep a down home feel to their service. I dont feel like just a number to them. When I walk in they know me by name and treat me like I have been their customer since the day they opened. Jarred, Jerri and Jonathan are the absolute best! I will continue to drive 30 min to Bartow for the service ony Silverado just for the hometown hospitality.

Nicole and the team at Stingray Chevrolet were great to work with. Nicole was not pushy at all and answered all the questions I had. She did what she needed to do to get the deal done. Being I live a distance away, Nicole worked with me to get the finances done so I was able to pick the suburban up a couple of days later. Had car problems while out of town late on Friday. Service department offered to get me a tow. I was able to get the car to them just before close on Friday night and they committed to looking at the car first thing on Monday morning. Car was repaired on Monday and my journey was back on track. Fast and friendly with no sales push at all. What else can you ask from a service department?

The entire service department was incompetent and unprofessional. Not only did they take 30+ days to service my vehicle but would not take my call when I would call for updates. I would call Robert Hunt and leave messages and he would never return my call. It came to the point where I had to ask the receptionist if someone was even working in the service department. When I asked for the owners name and phone number they stated they did not have it. I had to reach out to GM directly to try and get my service moving and they were absolutely no help either. On the day my vehicle was finally ready I went to pick up my vehicle it was full of dust,debris, and dead bugs. I am truly disgusted with GM/Chevrolet and especially with Bartow Chevrolet. I will never do business with this company again and I will make sure no one close to me does either.

Great experience buying my truck. Nicole was fantastic and worked with my on trade-in value along with some pricing discussions BEFORE having to drive out there from Tampa. I pretty much knew all of the financial details before I got there, which left just the test drive and inspection. Quick and low pressure process.

Great experience buying from this dealer. Drove 6.5 hrs each way. Nicole had everything ready to go once I arrived making for a quick transaction. Finance manager made the process a real breeze. Got a fantastic deal and couldnt be happier. They gave me top dollar for my trade in and even got me a interest rate better than 2 other big brand dealerships. Definitely recommend.

The only thing poorer than the communication is the desire to serve the customer. When I dropped the truck off for a problem with the front differential which should be covered under warranty, I inquired about the radio malfunctioning. The service writer snapped, thats software which isnt covered under warranty, youll have to pay for that. Not even offering to look at it, and inform that theres a chance that the defect could be software related which wouldnt be covered. So now, as it stands, I guess I will just continue to drive my truck with a periodically malfunctioning radio, that way I am reminded of the absolute poor service I am receiving after purchasing my first new vehicle ever.Then there is the communication itself, after dropping the truck off I received no communication whatsoever until I was called to be told that it was finished. I returned to the dealership and came to the service writer to inquire about what was done and ask a few other questions, and he cut me off and stated the cashier will take care of you. This is not the first poor experience I have had with this dealer, EVERY experience that I have had with this dealership has been this poor, except the day I bought the truck. Well thank you for making me feel completely insignificant. Thank you for making me completely regret this vehicle purchase.

I truly hate to give low reviews but because of my personal safety I felt this incident is necessary. The last time I bought my car in to be serviced which was a couple months back I had told my service person that I was planning a long travel trip in September with my automobile and had asked that the tend on my tires to be checked to see if I needed to get new tires. When it was time to pay my bill he had told me my tires had 15,000 miles left on the tend and it wasn’t necessary for me to buy tires until next year. Well when I went to have my oil changed and tires rotated at Walmart the service guy told me they couldn’t rotate my tires because the tend was in the yellow meaning to low and it would be a huge liability for them to do it. Since I like Firestone I went to them to do my tires and sure enough they were at a dangerous tend level. I am sickened that I was told I would be fine and that my safety was put on the line for whatever reason that tech guy told me that. For many years I have been happy with my service and people are so nice at this dealership but if my safety isn’t the the most upmost concern then I would rather let someone else work on my car. My friends and family are upset as well.

Great experience all around. My salesperson, Nicole, was the best car salesperson I’ve ever encountered, in terms of being helpful, responsive, yet chill. I wanted to conduct as much of the interaction as possible via email and Nicole made that happen where many other dealers didn’t even write me back. In the end the vehicle was as advertised, was priced on the very low end of the market, and the one item the dealership agreed to provide post-sale was delivered as promised. My whole experience on-site from walking in to leaving in my new van took less than two hours, and the final price was a dollar or so LESS than agreed upon :)

DON’T buy your car from this dealership! I worked out a deal over the phone for a 2019 Ford Mustang and they delivered it 2 hours to me. Terrible mistake. I was suppose to pick it up but when I asked for a video they all of a sudden found out it wouldn’t start. It took them hours to test the battery and then said it just needed to be charged. This made me have a bad feeling and they assured me the car was mechanically sound and had been through a 100 point inspection. They wouldn’t offer a 30 day warranty for the car, just the battery. Instead they wanted me to pay for a $3k extended warranty - now I know why. I find out when the car is delivered that there is only 1 key fob which are like $400. Then when my fiancé sits in the passenger side we find out the seat belt is broken. Fast forward a week later and it is driving weird. I get it into a Ford dealership and they tell me something is wrong with the transmission. They can’t fix it for a week so now I have to pay for a rental until I can get my car back. The whole reason I bought this car was because my transmission went out on my Jeep I had for 8 years. Not even a month with this car and I’m out over $1k. Horrible experience. Buyers beware.

My personal experience was terrible, set up a appointment a week in advance. For two full days my car was not looked at, had to call repeated times to find out if it was even looked at. Picking up my car and has not been looked at. My advice personally do not come here if you need your vehicle for a week as they seem to always be to “busy” to help out.

The service was fun and the cashier was very friendly. Most of the service counter guys seemed bored and like they’d rather be somewhere else. I though they did like most other dealerships too where they’ll washed and vacuum your vehicle but I guess not. I’ll probably go somewhere else next time for a cheaper price and get the same service.

It was the only dealership we visited that was welcoming, friendly and patient. We felt at ease throughout the process. My only complaint would be that no one that worked there was wearing a mask, but that was the same at the other places as well.

I’m sure Stingray is an excellent dealership but I have a Tahoe and like everyone else that owns a Chevy product my dashboard is cracking in several places and Chevrolet will do nothing about it. I feel that they should stand behind there cheaply made products.

Made a huge down payment on two trucks, more on one than the other, in cash. But seriously, it shouldnt matter how someone pays....when we went back so they could finish the job they started due to both trucks literally and conviently being used as trade-ins the same day, we were treated shady. My son even agrees, never doing business there again. Only gave them a three star rating cause one of the vehicles were purchased at a killer price.

I left my Corvette with them over the holidays (almost 3 weeks). They ended up damaging my convertible top, left the inside dirty, fingerprints everywhere- clearly not Covid cleaned. I paid for an alignment that never happened and if it did- it wasnt right. I ended up taking it to another Chevy dealer to fix the work that wasnt done correctly. Lousy service and lousy customer service. Cant recommend

A great place to purchase a vehicle

This was my first time purchasing a car and I dont know if I couldve asked for a better experience. Logan Brewer worked with me to make sure the car I was looking at was in the best condition and he even walked me through the steps of purchasing and signing everything to make sure I understood what all I was signing. My dad came with me and he was also so impressed with Stingray Chevrolet Bartow and Logan that he said hed look at buying from them himself in the future.

Walked around the lot with my daughter in law for 20+ minutes and nobody greeted us. Would have been nice to ask questions about inventory since Im shopping for something specific.

DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE! We had a deal completely put together, numbers and everything were set and they told me we were good to go. I had my trade completely loaded up and ready to make the 8 hour drive to the dealer... and they completely backed out at the last second.Do not give this dealer the time of day, they will completely waste your time.

Had an oil change. Service department was prompt came told me everything on vehicle checked out tires looked good and rotated. Always feel welcomed. There is a Stingray closer but like Bartow do to staff.

Sting Ray in Bartow is an exceptional dealership. I went there from a previous employee referral on getting a new vehicle and needed more money down. So I came back some months later and talked to Bruce Sadler again and let me tell you Bruce is a wonderful person and an excellent salesman. The dealership and himself went above and beyond to make my deal pull through and make my experience to be remembered. If you need a vehicle used or new go see these guys and talk to Bruce!
