I love the atmosphere of this place! Such unique items, many local artisans featured, including the shop owner’s candle collection and her husband’s Batavia made series. They have fun shopping events here.

My experience at Hearth and Hammer was great! I got a wonderful start on my holiday shopping, and my personal shopping appointment felt very safe.

I live internationally and am very sadly not able to return this holiday season to be with my family. I normally do my Christmas shopping local-to-me, or a little collection of knick knacks during my travels. But this year, I had nothing to send. So I decided to check out the HH online store and I definitely hit the jackpot!! Not only are most of their items made by Illinois locals, so many are also eco friendly, AND everything is very aesthetically pleasing. So while my family won’t be getting me in person this Christmas, they will still be getting a locally made, hand picked gift with my quirky eye, and that makes me so happy. Happy holidays!
