I rarely rate anything, and I never jump to rate before Ive had a chance to get the full experience. I also have a lifelong fear and loathing of car shopping, which is why I do everything I can to avoid it. In June my 16-year-old beloved vehicle refused to start and wouldnt be resurrected. In desperation, with no planning ahead and with a less than stellar credit rating, I was forced to go shopping. Pellegrino Auto Sales were by far the most gracious and helpful agency I visited and (as far as I am concerned) performed miracles in financing my choice. In addition, Ive had some experience now with the garage (repair shop) and I can vouch that they are considerate, professional and accommodating. I am 100% happy with Pellegrino Auto Sales. (Her name is Midge. Hoping to not have to shop again for a dozen years, but if I do, itll be Pellegrino I go to.)

I bought a car on March 23 from Pellegrino. My salesperson Brian was delightful and my initial review of this place was based solely on that experience. Today, as I am writing this review my car sits in the service shop. My engine blew in my car on May 21 a day after I had contacted the service department. I called because my car began to putt after braking.I was told the earliest I could get an appointment was June 1. My car was dropped off by my roadside assistance on May 24 even though I had additional coverage through Pellegrino. I live in Buffalo and Pellegrino is 37 miles from my home. The warranty only covers 30 miles for a tow. My personal tow covers 50 miles. Had it not taken 2 days to reach someone from the warranty place my car would have been dropped off by my tow on May 21. Fast forward I am told by Rocco that he is waiting for approvals to even begin work on the car. I wasnt even able to get a loaner until May 29. The loaner is on its last leg and MUCH smaller than the Chevy Equinox that I left with them and it only had a quarter tank of gas when they gave it to me. I called this past Tuesday to see what was going on. Rocco informed me that he was putting in the new head gaskets and I could possibly pick the car up on Thursday. It is now Sunday and I still do not have my car. Even if they worked an hour each day it would not take this long for my engine to have been replaced. It saddens me to think that writing this review will get a quicker response than my once a week phone calls and calm demeanor which seems to have gotten me nothing but played. I waited until today to post this review because I wanted to talk to someone before I posted. I spoke with someone today in the service department who informed me that they are waiting for yet another part. Looks like I have to cancel my plans for the 4th of July!!

My sons vehicle that we have serviced at Pelligrinos was rear-ended in an accident.There was no visible damage. But we wanted to make sure there was no undercarriage damage. Pelligrinos inspected it free of charge. Great Customer Service!

The owner replied to my review within a day, and later in the week called me to tell me about a car he thought I would like. I am man enough to admit I misjudged this place, and perhaps judged them to quickly, and to guy, I apologize for that. What guy showed me was excellent customer service and that is what you are looking for from a dealership.

My wife and I were in bad shape with our only car. They worked with us and we ended up with what I consider to be a wonderful vehicle. They gave us more for our trade in than I thought we would get. The price Im paying is a bit higher than Id like but it still works in my budget. At the same time what we got is well worth it. All in all the process went well and was a better experience than other dealerships Ive been to.

Sales Dept does what the can to help you get into a new vehicle. But the warranty they sell is nothing to be impressed with. There service department needs major improvements. Have taken my vehicle back a few times fir the same issue and keep getting told nothing is wrong it. Finally get fed up with the run around and take it to another garage thinking I’ll have to pay just the $100 deductible my warranty have. The a big NEGATIVE. Now I’ll be paying over $700 out of my own pocket to fix things that they refused to take care of. Some extended warranty they charged me $4,000 for.

Do not purchase a car from here . Nothing but a nightmare since the start . Car was in the shop numerous times a month after purchase . Sales person added on charges I was unaware of . 16k car ended up costing me 26 k . When I sold it they told me the balance of the warranty could only be refunded if car was stolen which should have been disclosed before accepting as it was never used and now I have lost another thousand dollars . Snippy dismissive sales reps, customer service useless and rude . Oh well nothing we can do . Take your business to transit Towne where you won’t be duped, robbed or taken advantage of

My fiance purchased a Chrysler van from Pellegrino Auto Sales, and I was with her during the entire process. From trying out vehicles, to the entire sales process, Guy Pellegrino was an awesome person to work with. This dealership is the best Ive ever dealt with...I luv my new car......thank u to u all...wonderful n honest ppl at this dealership...UPDATE: watch yourself with this dealership.....i thought they were honest n good ppl but learned they r not....i was told my car was a v-6 but it was not....its a 4 cylinder....was told it had a clean carfax report, again a lie....my dash started coming out on the passenger side where the airbag was popped from a previous accident....they promised 4 new tires n only put 2 on...so had to go back n get other 2 on...they said theyd fix all the dingers in the paint....n they did not do that either they slapped a little paint to cover up but did not fix.....im so upset w this dealership....so beware of the lies they tell....

Top tier customer service. The sales rep that I got was the absoloute pinnacle Ive ever had out of a car buying experience. As with anything that involves financing (mortgage, personal loans etc.) difficulties and hurtles are to be expected, but Brian made it so easy and flawless. I was pretty inexperienced with buying a car, and I went an extra step this time and transferred plates and registration, Brian was there every step of the way. Helping guide me through the murky legal waters and red tape of the NY DMV, giving me his personal number, and assuring me with confidence that I was getting a great deal. The price was non-negotiable, which I found to be annoying at first, but most dealerships are going this no hassle direction and the price was fair as is. However, Brian made sure any issues with the Subaru forester I bought were fixed prior to pick up including new tires, new rodors, new brakes, and a replacement shock for the trunk door. With these accommodations I was pleasantly satisfied. My recommendation comes highly with the customer service alone, it is understandable that this dealership had record sales in both May AND June. I hope that they continue to prosper even through these unprecedented times. My best wishes to the sales team of this facility.

Excellent experience here i drove 30 mins to this dealership and it was well worth it. Sales experience was very easy no hard upsells at all. Sales rep Brian was very nice and def not pushy at all. I purchased a 2015 pathfinder and upon nys inspection they found a rear coil spring was broke and fixed it,along with new brakes and tires and oil change,totally above and beyond and that was the best part. I def recommend this dealership.

Joe was easy to deal with and was very accommodating. He even fixed a problem with the vehicle that I hadnt noticed until after I purchased it. My only complaint is he pushes extended warranties and replacement insurance. I personally dont believe in them. They sound great, but are rarely worth the cost. All in all, I got a great vehicle for a fair price.Update: Joe screwed up personal info on my loan application. I caught the problem when signing. He said he would fix it but didnt. Now I have to call the bank and fix it. They have little attention to detail. Im removing one star from my initial review.

Was sold a $2000 ASI warrantee that was not humored to be honored. Spoke to them three times including Joe Pellegrino himself and was told I would be called back and informed if my asi warantee covered a faulty latch in my trunk. Was not called back. In that time my car was broken into from the trunk where the faulty latch was located.As far as I’m concerned i paid $2000 for nothing. Asi was pushed onto the financing in shady way via a contract that was barely discussed. (I was a first time buyer)Tone on the phone was obvious I wasn’t going to be called back. He complained he’d have to be on the phone on hold for 45 minutes with them in order to find out if I was covered or not.I never complain. I’m a blue collar young man, did concrete for ten years and respect hard work and honesty when I see it. I saw none of that here.Upon purchase of car, handle was broken off inside car. Seatbelt sensor was faulty if you had passengers. Found off-putting articles of clothing tucked in crevasses. Previous owner’s family cell phones were programmed into the Bluetooth.No one is perfect. But they aren’t even okay. I would easily pay more elsewhere and be happy.I am going to have to fix the latch myself, because I want it done right.

Great service before, during and after the sale! One of the best dealerships Ive dealt with. Most are kinda of shady in the information they give. I have found this NOT to be true of Pellegrino. My husband noticed a small dry rot on the tires and the device Dept replaced all 4 with no questions asked! Im not sure why some reviews state the service department is bad. These folks were professional and responsive right from the get go and provided me with ample information every step of the way. They were also great with following up whenever it had been awhile since I had communicated with them. Unfortunately, because I live in VA and have a job that makes it difficult to get time off, I realized it would not be ideal for me to travel that far for a vehicle. I want to emphasize that my decision has no bearing on the quality of customer service I received from the dealership. One thing that really stuck out to me was that they didnt try to nickel and dime you with little miscellaneous fees. He was extremely helpful during every step of the decision process, and he really understood what my needs and expectations were. This was because he really listened to what I had to say and quickly provided truck options in my price range to look at and test drive. Within a day I arrived at a reasonable choice but since the vehicle hadnt been in the dealerships shop yet there were some things that needed attention. Jeremy asked me to provide him a list of all my concerns and said that the shop would take reasonable steps to correct them. The shop satisfied all my concerns so I accepted the deal without reservations and am very happy to own the truck I set out to purchase. I did not feel the need to put this in writing as I felt very good about Mr. Pellegrino and his being honest.Needless to say, I was not disappointed. When a problem with the air conditioner occurred, I called and it was repaired free of charge. Im sure the parts alone were in excess of $ 670. There was no problem whatsoever. When the car was ready I was handed the keys and was told if there was any further issues just to come back and they would be resolved.In summary, I was totally happy with my experience with Mr. Pellegrino and his business. I will not hesitate to do business with him again and I have already highly recommended him to friends and family.Thank you.

I took my Jeep Liberty to Clar’s automotive about a year ago for no heat. The guy there blew out my hoses and my heat was working, couple weeks go by and my Jeep starts over heating and has no heat. I took it back to Clar’s automotive where they just did a head gasket test and said that was the problem and that it would be $1,500 to fix it. I went and picked up my Jeep because I could not afford that at the time, so fast forwarded to now (yes I’ve been driving around with no heat and it overheating for months now.) my parents told me to call Pellegrino’s for my oil pan and oil gasket. So I called and set up an appointment. I walked in and right off the bat Rocco was funny and had great customer service. I asked him if he could possibly look at why it was overheating and has no heat. He calls me and tells me that it was just an air bubble from not being burped when the other place did my heating core. Rocco did my oil pan, oil gasket, oil change, and transmission pan in just a few hours and for a reasonable price! I am so glad I listened to my parents and went here. Just in a couple hours they lifted so much weight and stress off my shoulders. I could not thank Rocco enough and I definitely know where I will be bringing my Jeep in the future. Everyone in there was so friendly and amazing. I couldn’t of gotten any better service from anywhere else. Thank you again Rocco! You rock!!

After my car was declared a total loss, I found a Honda Fit (not an easy vehicle to get in this area!) on the Pellegrino website. I sent in an online form and was contacted by Jeremy, who helped me through the process from start to finish and worked relentlessly to get me the best deal on financing. Even though this dealership is 40 miles away from my home, Im impressed with all the hoops that were jumped through to make the transition as painless as possible.

They are a great place to get a nice car from. The person we felt with to get the car was nice and listened to what we wanted and were looking to pay and got it done for us.

We have been coming to them for the last few years for work on our vehicles. We have never had to wait to get in or get things fixed. There service department is excellent. They always ask you if you want the work done, before they do it, and how much it will cost. The other day I took my car in to have break work done, and was told I had a hole in my frame, that the car was totaled. I needed a car right away but could not really afford to have payments. They told me what their cheapest car was and within two hours I was driving it home. Guy Pellegrino is a very friendly and helpful person, as well as Mike in the service department. Would recommend this place to everyone. Very friendly atmosphere.

Jeremy was very attentive and helped me walk out the door with a car of my liking for a good price and exactly within my budget. He helped me get a decent credit score even tho my credit is so so and should have been much higher. He made purchasing a car very enjoyable and smooth. I will start by saying that I walked into Pellegrino Auto Sales with a very specific set of requirements, all of which were met. From the beginning, the experience was different. It’s a very nice dealership with a premium feel and a great inventory, yet the prices were worth me driving from Rochester. Joe is awesome to work with; he is very professional, casual, and easy to talk to. From the photos I first saw of the Honda Odyssey I bought, to the handshake goodbye with my license plates on it, it was obvious that these people care about their reputation. I had an appointment for a routine oil change and I had no heat in my car. I had an appointment for Wednesday morning. The service department had some workers out due to illness and had a huge workload of cars to get done, many with more severe issues then mine. But not only did they get my car in and out when they said, Melissa stayed in touch with me throughout the day to keep me updated and as always, they fixed everything perfectly. Hands down THE BEST!
