Look like a very clean place nice place to work at seem like it wasnt that much heat in there it was ventilated nice

Ive purchased number of products from Chapin the past few years. Made in USA product is hard to find these days and Chapin has them. I would recommend purchasing a Chapin branded product.

I worked at the Clarence location on main st. I wouldnt recommend working there, they are breaking guidelines over there no team morale, they hire alot of Temps with bad attitudes. Management seems unorganized. I had a issue with a few of their employees..if you go to work there you can expect tension and someone to rub you the wrong way ! The work is easy but youre doing assembly/production so you can expect youre co workers that you work with to make easy tasks harder then they should be ! This is not a career! A job for people in poverty with bad attitudes turn out right speaks for itself!

Chapin is essentially a sweatshop. HR completely mislead myself and many others during the hiring process. They changed my hours on day one. Then I find out from other employees that they are not honoring paid lunches that was promised and Saturdays are never optional as also promised. Turn over is very rapid so they hide the truth just to get people in the door. People seeking employment BEWARE!!PS. No Chapin rep. Its not about what I thought, but what I was TOLD multiple times. So please do not try to defend your company, with misleading statements. Thank you.

- Arrived 2 hrs early for my pick up and got a dock door right away. Loaded 30 minutes before my appointment.- Apt 2:00pm. Arrived 11:50am and got a dock right away. Started loading 1:05pm. Loaded 1:30pm.- Lots of room for Overnight Parking.

Last to care. First to fire

Chapins is a horrible place to work they break labor laws and state this is the way we have always done it. As well as ignore employees about bad products. I worked in metals for years and one day the pumps started blowing out while pressure testing. Due to a high rate our supervisor ignored us and continued to make bad product until a pump blew off on a customer. At this time they were finally forced to recall and crush 4 months worth of sprayer cans. When it all could of been avoided. Management is horrible and only care about the all mighty dollar!!! They also try putting there own reviews up on here to make themselves look better to the public.

I bought a 20v back pack sprayer and it stopped keeping pressure after 12 months. I contacted Farrah and she helped me send it back and get it repaired in 2 weeks. I sent also sent her a list of chemicals that I use and she assisted me with knowing what I bag and cannot put in the sprayer. All-around great customer service by a company that stood behind their product.

I really dont like leaving bad reviews but the product quality at this company is atrocious. I tried two different sprayers with the same results, pumps falling off, proprietary pieces that cannot be bought elsewhere coming apart, basically a problem to fix Every. Single. Day. Even on the first day on both sprayers. I had exchanged the first one hoping for a better result. To give you an idea of how much they care about their product..... The drain plug kept popping off on both, after dealing with it for a little bit on the second, I investigated a little and and found that the drain plug is garden hose thread, while the threads on the drain are NPT. This was the design from the factory on both sprayers, so it was not a fluke. They seriously cant figure out if threads on a drain are hose thread it NPT, and they make sprayers. This company has no business making products that you rely on to spray chemicals.....

I ordered Backpack Sprayer but I received the one with wrong specs. The product shipped pretty quickly though with fair pricing. But their return policy was a huge challenge. I called customer service and they are very slow in recognizing the problem.

As a turf professional, product quality is second to none. I have to depend on my equipment daily. I buy commercial products expecting them to hold up. Having to replace straps on backpacks annually is absurd. I have 1 solo that has had the same straps for over 4 years but cant last a season with a Chapin. They all have torn in the same place. My clients expect results for my services, and I expected no different when I spent my $ on a product they claim to be pro/commercial. So lets see what kind of excuse or explanation they come up with

No ones stays. The job itself is fast paced but isnt that bad. The management though is horrible. There are plenty of things they could do to get employees to stay. Most people leave half way through their shift within the first month. 13 days on 1 off with 12hr shifts included mandatory. Dont be fooled Sunday is not optional for anyone! If you try to tell them any of the overtime is outside of your availability they will give you the run around and clear out your locker. Personal belongings included. If you are sick they will send you home and write you up for it (even during Covid). If you miss a shift because of an emergency they will fire you, even if you provide proof.

Though many customers have appreciated the customer service team of the company, I must tell the truth. The customer service team is friendly enough, but they make you wait for long. You have to be on hold for minutes while they check stuff and then you are asked to call someday again. I would not recommend it.

Lack of product knowledge of customer care executives is easily visible here. The person talking to me didnt even know the name and basic specifications of the sprayer I was interested in. Train your people better from now on! Its annoying!

Its weird working for people who are not better than you. This is what youll feel when you work here. The managers in this company are people who do not deserve their positions. Most of them are incompetent and not experienced enough to lead others. I suggest that the company replace its management or at least train them to not be terrible at their jobs.

I purchased a handheld sprayer for insecticides,etc. from Lowes last summer. The model is 10030, about $25.00. Somehow I broke the sprayer tip. I went to their website to purchase replacement part. Site said they dont sell replacement parts for that model so I asked for a human CSR. The lady that answered very quickly,and asked when I purchased the item. When I told her I expected the usual answer: out of warranty, parts not sold, etc. But to my surprise she asked for my address and said a replacement would be sent at no charge! I thought she meant the little tip but no! They sent me a BRAND NEW sprayer at NO charge and NO shipping!! This is unbelievable in the era of not taking care of the customer. This company actually cares about their customers! I have another larger Chapin sprayer that is about 10 years old that still works great which is why I purchased the 10030. You cant go wrong using these products and Chapin is a GREAT company! Its not the money. Its the pride they take in their products and the respect they have for their customers.

Had some troubles with my sprayer and one call to Chapin solved the problem and a replacement sent out directly to me. You have to love when a company works quickly to help you out with a product you bought of theirs! Erica was great to email me back quickly. Chapin is an example of how customer service should be.

Terrible and Toxic Work EnvironmentEmployee turnover is extremely high. Its common to see new joiners who wont even last a month. The workload is toxic, no proper training and guidance being provided and yet the expectations are high. Now, I understand why people come and go. Theres no room for growth because Youre swamped with loads and loads of work from previous coworkers who resigned. If you got another choice, dont apply here. Im only staying because i got bills to stay.

Ordered 3 items, 1 arrived! Called the emergency number suggested! Terrible customer service! The guy answered the phone was so surprised, even though I explained why im calling, he was still surprised. Like why would I be calling, I paid for this, I expect the least some respect.

Purchased a Chapin 1949 industrial pump sprayer made for use with certain caustic liquids for concrete sealers. I was using it for residential herbicides and pesticides. After 6-7 uses the metal (brass) cylinder failed and cracked. I was using a small amount of vinegar mixed in with herbicides. It turns out that vinegar and chlorine will effect the integrity of the brass. I was honest and explained I used vinegar (1 cup per 3 gal.) I asked if I could buy the part (discounted) since I screwed up. Customer service rep was very polite and after discussing my situation for a short while, she explained that a new part would be sent to me at no cost. Awesome customer service policy and terrific lady - service rep. I would not hesitate to do business with these great people again.

I ordered for a replacement which took too long to arrive and I had already lost some good business. Why the delay though?

I called customer support, waited 48 minutes and then they didnt know the answer to a question about fertilizer that called for 1T. to 1 gallon.

I dont recommend them because of their terrible customer service. When my order from them got delayed, I called their customer service but I got disappointed because of how they talked to me. They are rude and disrespectful. I didnt get the right update that I was looking for and I just got stressed.

My orders got delayed and when I called their customer service, it was a terrible experience! They kept on transferring me from one agent to another and in the end, I didnt get acceptable answer to my issue. They dont know their process and how to relay to customers the details needed about their orders. Train your customer service agents more!
