The 25 years that I had Ferrellgas there service was excellent. There keep full policy is also excellent. Always had propane never had a problem. THANKS FERRELLGAS for the GREAT service.

On a positive note regarding ferrellgas, the service is prompt. Anyone choosing to reside in a community such as Harper Park in Rochester receives a discount compared to the state average charged for propane although the discount compensates for tenants who are double billed by Ferrellgas. New York state requires heat be provided upon move in of housing meaning tenants initially are required to purchase heating (propane) from ferrell if the established provider. Unless the tenant signs a contract with another provider, Ferrellgas will double bill the current tenant for unused propane and new tenants who are required to purchase the unused propane prior to move in. Ferrell states if the vacating tenant requests a refund, the company must release unused propane into the atmosphere to measure and bill $75 for the procedure of releasing to measure thus negating the refund.Ferrell recommends pursuing a refund from Harper, Harper suggests orally they will refund after 30 days, but is not obligated and does not provide a refund.
