They have all the things one could want for a party… and lots of costume choices! Great products, some are overpriced.. but for the most part a great value. They have super cute balloons and other extras. However, most of the staff is not helpful.. we go here a lot for party decor and if you need help you are basically out of luck unless you find the 2 or 3 employees who are regularly nice to people.

Loved it. Halloween is always an insane rush for party stores. Never in my life have I seen a store wide line move so *FAST* my son is gonna be the lightest of red rangers this year and itll be great.

Party Time had just about everything I could have wanted when looking for a costume. Even though the costume I originally wanted wasnt there in my size, I was easily able to find something else I liked to wear and accessories to go with it.

One of my favorite places to visit. Wish they offered a military discount, but otherwise great deals.

Worst return policy of anywhere I’ve shopped. I’ve heard many stories about it, but never experienced it myself until today. I totally get not being able to return something that has possibly been worn like a headband, costume, anything at all “open” - but sealed items like face stickers? Sealed in packaging?? It makes no sense. That’s just wrong and taking advantage of people. Won’t be back, will try Party City next time.

My ballon flew away when I got to my destination and they gave me another one💕 the ballon was for my daughter 5th birthday and it was a number 5ballon so when it flew away I was about to cry and God said call the store and theyll replace it and vwala🎈...thanks to the young lady for her great customer service and obedience🙏💜

Theres not many places in Baton Rouge where you can find Baton Rouge, LSU and Louisiana specific items. Party Time has them all! DIY, pre made, large, small, cut outs, foam, ribbons and more. They also have a great selection of cute LSU items. The only down side is some of their stiff is kinda pricey, but by the time you order from somewhere online, the tax and shipping and having to wait would make up for a few extra bucks.The staff is super nice and helpful. Several employees asked me how I was and offered help, but they didnt hover, which is awesome.Another bad point us there are some items sitting on the shelves that look a little old and should probably be phased out of inventory. There was a cute mug in the baby section with cracks all through the glaze, for example.However, all in all, I really enjoyed what I saw, I appreciated the awesome staff, and I found some great items that I was looking for (and I also bought a few extra items I wasnt looking for!). Thank you!

This store had any and everything in it that you can imagine if you are throwing a party or having to decorate/bake for an event. So many choices. There is an officer on the inside so its a very safe environment to shop. Fast and friendly service. I would definitely go there again being that was my first time at that location. I used my navigation to find it. This particular store at this location looks better than the others that I have visited. I think this location is newer.

I LOVE THIS STORE!!! I shop here often and they always have exactly what I am looking for and more!!! The way they switch this store around for different holidays and themes is like magic. One minute it is spooky and the next I want to sing Christmas songs! The staff has always been friendly towards me and whenever I came in, there is always someone there saying hello. We need more locally owned stores like this. Makes you feel welcomed. Didnt have time to look at all the Christmas items they put out but I will be back soon to do just that!!!!

For all your party needs, this is the place! I bake cakes for all types of occasions and they have everything you need to help you. They also have classes available if you want to step up your cake decorating skills! This place is awesome!

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. I WENT ALL OVER TOWN AND FURTHER, TO FIND MY DAUGHTER A COSTUME FOR HALLOWEEN TOMORROW. THEY HAVE EVERYTHING. I FOUND WHAT I NEEDED. POLITE CUSTOMER SERVICE. A $80 COSTUME FOR $30. SO AMAZING PRICES.

The store itself is beautiful and full of supply. The cashiers were great too. Why the 2 stars is mainly because I overheard the owner telling the cashier to keep an eye on me because Im suspicious ( Im heavily tattooed). I also caught her hiding behind things watching me throughout the store. I almost didnt make the purchase because of how ignorant and rude she was. I only did because it was for my kid. Good luck with your business but you lost a customer.

Don’t shop here! Go to party city, shop online or anything else. They offer no sales, no discounts and they over charge you just to make a sale. They never have any new product. The store manager Claire literally the nasty attitude to be working in a customer service industry. I don’t know who employed her but I will never come back.

At 1:31 on 8/17/13 I purchased a costume for my 4 year old that I had promised for being good his first week of PreK. As I was being rung up I was told that all costumes were final. I have absolutely no problem with that since all of his costumes come from there are and I have never had a problem. I got home with his soldier costume and let him try it on. Within 15 minutes that pants had ripped in the inseam. I sew so I just sewed it back together and thought that maybe they missed the material. Another 5 minutes later I looked at him and the shoulders on both arms had come apart and under that arms. The flax jacket that goes on top also started pulling apart above the pocket. I made him take it off and I was going to show the store that the costume was defective. When I went the next morning to show them they told me that there was nothing that they could do and that costumes were cheaply made. I understand that they are costumes and that they are not the best made garments that you could by but for $45.00 I expect it to stay together longer than 20 minutes. She was so flip about it and just kept repeating the store policy. You would think that clearly the costume was defective and at least offer to switch it out, but instead she was rude and unconcerned. Writing a review is not something that I would do typically but I feel like at least I can sew and can fix this horrible costume because my 4 year old is devastated and wants the costume. I feel bad for the people who cannot sew and could not fix this and would just be out $45.00 like myself. The worst part of all of this is that the store is in walking distance to my home and I am in that store at least 6 or 7 times a month for projects and gifts. I will drive to the Party City for all of my party supplies and gifts. It saddens me that they were so unconcerned especially since they knew this was clearly for a small child. Customer service is clearly lacking in that store from the Assistant Manager that I spoke to all the way down to the snotty little girls that work there and speak horribly about the customers that are in the store when they think that no one can hear them. I will no long be a customer so I will not worry anymore about their lack for respect for the public but I will make sure that all of my friends and acquaintances are aware so that they do not throw their money away.

Great variety in store but it is highly overpriced. Similar items I have found in dollar stores. Cake supply is awesome but again overpriced I find same items at other retailers that offer coupons with percentage off purchases as well as a weekly coupon to use. Not $5 off $25. I can get better deal elsewhere something I prefer to buy there boards, boxes,balloons.

I was harrassed in 2009 while shopping by an older, caucasian woman(believe to be owner). I vowed never to return, and to this day I havent. Everytime I pass by that store Im reminded f the embarrassment and partiality exhibited by her. Thank you Lord for being in control 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

You can find anything you are looking for

Their return policy is absurd. Tried to return a toddler Halloween costume the day after we purchased and they would not accept. It was never taken out of the original packaging, with the exception being the employee who opened it so my son could try it on for size. The cashier told me she mentioned the no return policy to me, but I kindly disagreed. She said, remember, I asked if you had tried it on? To which I replied, yes, you asked me that, but you did not tell me I could not return it. If I had known the policy, I would not have purchased it. She told me to speak with the GM the next morning, but he was short and offered no assistance. I have been using this store for years, but will no longer be going. There are more friendly options in town and cheaper options online. They mention customer service, but they do not know what customer service is. Beware of their online sales also...you can order a costume and checkout without one mention of their policy alerting you before your purchase. Overall, a bad experience and one they did not try to make right. Not the way to run a family business in these days where customers are foregoing in-store purchases for the ease and pricing of online sales.

I visited this location on 5-2-18 at 2:30 pm to return items that I purchased. The assistant manager that was on duty at that time handled the return and she was very rude. No greeting, not friendly and she started the entire transaction with an attitude. She stated that I could not return the sale items. I told her that I was not told that at the time of purchase and she was the person that checked me out for the original purchase. She then stated with an attitude I did check you out, there is a sign right here and If I had to tell this policy to every one I would not have a voice by the end of the day. Then she said they only cost a dollar! I did not have a problem with that being the store policy, but she clearly admitted that she did not tell me the policy, yet she is the one with an attitude. Needless to say I will not be shopping at this location again.

We were asked to get last minute balloons for our granddaughters birthday, I walked in today at 10:30 the ballon counter was so busy butfrom the moment I asked for service to the moment I places the order the girls acted as if I was a bother and treated me short and very undfriendly, it was uncomfortable just asking what the approximate time to pick them up, they were plain rude. The cashier was also busy but was very nice and courteous. When my husband went to pick the Ballins up a few hours later he to was treated as if he was bothering the girls behind the ballon counter, next time we will drive a few miles up the road to get friendlier service.

This is the place to go for all your dress up/ decorative needs! We went to ultimate party in Denham, party City (5 Minutes from this place) and party time had everything both other places had and more! From now on, this is the place well START at. Twice now they ended up being the place where we ultimately bought everything we needed for Halloween And Mardi Gras. Some stuff is super expensive so pay attention to prices but luckily they do have stuff that is more reasonable

If I could give zero stars, I would. The customer service at this store is ridiculous. Their return policy is no returns on “wearable” items....which is every single thing in their store. They do not inform you of it when purchasing and even if it is still in the package, you can’t return. Don’t waste your time or money on these people.

This is a great party store, beautiful, great selection, and excellent customer service, if you need it, they have it.

Most everything there is from Oriental Trading and marked up 100%. I know this because they forgot to take the OT tags off of some of the items. Very friendly staff tho!

My experience at party time is that its a beautiful store. But my experience as far as an applicant process was not great. Ive applied 3x, and out of the 3 ive had interviews twice. I was properly dressed, i spoke well and i have a great warm personality. I dont understand personally how can you pull a persons application twice, offer them a interview and then make them feel unqualified. I show up early and then wait wayyy past my interview time just to be seen. Im offended, you dont waste someones time making them feel that they have a chance then THEY CLEARLY dont. They are always hiring year round. I recently applied and this time i just received an email stating i wasnt selected. That could if been the case the other 2 times. So thanks for wasting my time.....
