From the time I called until I made a deal, only about five hours elapsed. It was the easiest car transaction of my life, and thats been over six decades! Kedrick Thomas gave me the information I needed on the phone. Stephen Bryant was my dealer rep. Both were so professional and courteous, as was the finance manager. Then, to have the car delivered the next day, TO MY DOOR, all cleaned, inspected and ready to go--that was the proverbial icing on the cake! EVERYONE at the dealership was so kind and considerate. I had a wonderful experience--no pressure, no dickering over prices, and no HASSLE at all!

I had an awful experience. Had auto towed 6/30; symptom no start, single click on attempts. Gave April,, Serv Rep symptoms, contact info plus statement that though I have limited mechanical knowledge, I suspect starter . Reviewing online service confirmation dated for 7/1 0700, I found all wrong vehicle info and contact info. I called speaking with April restating all for correction. Next day, April says no diagnosis would be obtained today at which time I asked about loaner or dealer rental since this is my only source of transport. She said none was available. I asked further if they would allow my rental from Enterprise at their rate. She says she asked Clint, Service Mgr and he said they dont do that. I told her that he authorized such a transaction before, I didnt understand. On Friday around 4pm April called saying they had no diagnosis yet, maybe on Monday. Further she says she will be calling Director who schedules techs to see where were at. Are you kidding? Car has been with you a few days now. Monday (6 days having my vehicle) at 3:35 pm April called to say diagnosis starter and service will be $1100. I declined service, having vehicle towed. Had I any indication that this dealer was unequipped to provide service in a timely fashion, I would have not had vehicle brought there. I spoke with this service representative before doing so. I had service confirmation for the following morning and yet nothing was done to diagnose til Monday for following week. Additionally, in absence of my only transportation I incurred a 6 day rental bill for a corrupt starter; which takes minutes to diagnosis. Service at this dealership sucks.

My sales woman was excellent! I had a rough start at first, however Mr. Eric and his team have accommodated me in ever way possible! They weren’t able to put me in a loaner car while was car was serviced due to the shortage in cars, however Mr. Eric and his team went out of his way to put me in a rental car until my vehicle was completed! I had a minor issue after purchasing the vehicle and it needed to be serviced, Mr. Eric and his team moved my car up to top priority to make sure I was back on the road in an efficient manner!
Got there at 8 am. Lady tells me two and a half to two hours. So Im thinking,okay 11 at the LATEST!! Fast forward to 12 and my cars JUST being put up and worked on (I only know because I got impatientand asked). I had work at one,now Im late because of miscommunication,or at least a lack there of. If you need service here make an appointment,and even then..dont count on it actually being on time.
Becky helped me and made sure my back seat panel was installed correctly this time after a previous install was done incorrectly. Now it is install correctly and doing well.. Kudos to Becky.
Amber was very professional and easy to work with. She took time listening to our questions and explaining all aspects of purchasing our vehicle. We appreciated her honesty and friendly- yet not pushy sales technique. She appreciated our concerns and made up comfortable and able to make our own decisions based on detailed feedback from her. Her manner allowed us to be us :). I wish more sales people were like her because we had our mind made up when we walked in. We wanted genuine honest answers to our questions and the ability to think all aspects of buying and financing without unsolicited advise from the sales person. She allowed that for us. Had we felt pressured to purchase, even though we knew we were purchasing, we might have gone to another dealer. It appears Amber understands the sales person doesn’t sell the vehicle. The sales person provides the support and answers for the buyer to feel comfortable purchasing the vehicle. Thank you to Amber. I highly recommend her.

My 2018 GMC Sierra was having shifting issues with a vibration, radio screen problems,and driver side and passenger side sunvisors were brokenThey replaced the fluids, told me my screen was on order, and they couldn’t do nothing about the visors. So now I’m over my extended warranty so anything else is on me with 2 years left to pay on it . They treat u different when u come in for a repair than if u were buying

To have vehicle serviced is entirely too long. With the number of vehicles sold from this facility the maintenance of the vehicles shouldn’t be this long. Also I’m having issues with a 2021 GMC rear end bouncing and the maintenance department is saying nothing is wrong with the vehicle.

Bought vehicle in cause check engine light was on, no code appeared, bought vehicle back several times within 4 wks period, scheduled appointments for 8am the technician said I could leave it but wasn’t sure when they could get to it because they were backed up, how could this be, when I travel 30 miles each time with a scheduled appointment and nothing is done. Tuesday I finally got my car looked at and fixed, waited 3 hours. I bought this 2020 in November and it’s a piece of junk. Never will I buy again from Gerry Lane, service after the sale ie horrible

My husband wait 7 1/2 hours for service on his vehicle that he had an appointment for at 9am. Even after waiting so long they put the wrong tire on the truck and still didn’t inflate the rest. The last visit things were taken from my vehicle.
Everyone was very accommodating and nice. Amber pieced together a vehicle based on the needs she recognized that I needed. She has a gift and uses it to help people to get what is right for them. You have a great asset in her and you should utilize and recognize it and put her on a special program to help those who have needs but can’t afford or doesn’t know what to do.

I recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership, John Robert whom I dealt with. This was horrible experience and I would NEVER do business again with this dealer. They lied about details of the vehicle, lied about financing, was not helpful on a service issue that turned out to be a complete fiasco. The bumper was to be painted and they could not match the color of the car. The body shop failed completely and provided poor work or won’t your vehicle to look like a clown car. Additionally, another manager Eric I dealt with who was disrespectful insulting, and rude and the worst customer service experience at a dealership I have ever had. I would never recommend this dealership under any circumstances.

James Brown took care of me. Very smooth truck buying experience. I had shopped around for weeks and wasnt happy with other dealers around New Orleans/Northshore area. Called Gerry Lane on Friday and showed up Saturday and bought the truck. Everything was as advertised. No surprise fees that made the truck 2 grand more once you get halfway through a deal. Great experience.I hadnt bought a new truck in 10 years. These guys are old school in a good way. You can actually talk to the person who is on site and going to sell you the car. A lot of other dealers deflect you to their online sales people, which I found that very frustrating.

I had two salesmen, ziggy (?) and John for my 2021 Yukon! They were great, every aspect was easy and exciting as this was my first brand new car. The guy in the service department when I came to get my inspection sticker and detail was so helpful, unloaded and carried my car seat from my car for me to the waiting room without hesitation. I bought my 2018 Sierra Denali with 50,000 miles in January 2021. In march of 2021 I noticed it would occasionally shift hard from first to second and would downshift hard at speeds below 40 mph. I did some research online and found out that the 8 speed transmission in my truck had problems. I brought it to my dealer and they changed the following: Internal Transmission Harness (Temp Sensor). Time will tell if this fixes the problems. They also put Mobile One ATF in transmission. Gerry Lane Dealership was courteous and professional. I had read online comments about this problem and what other Dealerships had told some customers and I am thankful that Gerry Lane is attempting to correct the problem.

About a half a month ago, I was in the process of looking for a used car. I had asked this dealer for information on a vehicle I was interested in, but by the time they got back to me, I had already bought a car from a different dealership and emailed the dealer to let them know that I was no longer interested, but thanked them for their time. I thought it was over.Since then, I have received multiple emails, phone calls, and now texts from this dealership after I have informed them, twice, that I am not interested.I do not appreciate pushy business. If I say Im not interested, Im not interested.

We bought a brand new 2020 Terrain. My excitement about the car was taken away from Gerry lane after multiple problems. If I buy a new car I expect it to be perfect and not to be treaded like I don’t matter after I sign the paperwork! Seems like nobody care to fix those issues!You schedule to pick up the car but then no ones shows up or pick up a phone!I’m very much regretting our decision to buy at Gerry lane.1. Missing car key2. Missing car manual3. Empty gas tank4. No inspection sticker5. Scratch was not removed6. Didn’t show up to pick up the car to fix it.

The service dept does a great job and they are friendly but it always, whether I have an appointment or not, takes at least two hours to do an oil change and a tire rotation. Thats ridiculous. I usually have an appointment and to me that is the point of the appointment so you dont have to wait. No reason it should take that long.

With an appointment, you shouldn’t have to wait almost 4hrs for car. They don’t have enough personal working. I don’t want to hear about cars left on the weekend. One employee said if I didn’t have an appointment, I would not get in at all. Call manager and he didn’t call me back. He came to me with the ticket when car was finished

Took my truck to Gerry Lane GMC this morning around 11:00 am, it was very busy at this time, i was met Paul Bryant who asked if he could help, i informed I had a shake in my steering wheel and a code came up on a computer saying transmission problem. He took all the information and told me up front it would be a few hours, the problem was taken care of by their tech in a short period of time for the condition they were under. I would like to thank Bryan and the tech for helping me so quickly.
