Purchasing a car at Gerry Lane Cadillac was a joy. All the sales people are friendly and helpful. They all work together to give the customer the best car buying experience. Britney was my sales person, she was very knowledgeable about all GM products and was able to tell me what all the bells and whistles were for even on non Cadillac vehicles. She takes her time explaining all aspects of the workings of the car, making herself available for further questions should you need to ask. Service department is unable to answer any service questions without an appointment. Scheduling an appointment consists of dropping off your car and an undetermined amount of time later you can be notified. When asked if I could make an appointment to have my car hooked up to the computer and be informed of the problem to decide if I wanted to have it fixed or leave my car overnight was given an explanation of why this is not how it works. Basically they schedule a time for you to drop your car, it’s checked in, when a technician diagnoses the problem it’s completed as availability is afforded. This could take more then a day. No idea how much it will cost or how long it will take. You are then notified. I’ll find someone else to check my car.

They are not friendly or accommodating here and do not care how they inconvenience you. I made an appointment to have my car diagnosed in the morning. I get there only for them to say they don’t have time so it may be the next day before they can look at the car but I have to leave it in line and be without a vehicle or pay for a rental until they get to it. They also don’t offer loaner vehicles unless your car is basically brand new, which is BS. If my car is brand new, I likely won’t have any major issues to need a loaner in the first place. I have a 2014 and it’s not “new enough”. You would think they’d want to give people with slightly older vehicles a loaner being they they are more likely to want to upgrade. I will be going back to Lexus or Infiniti for my next vehicle. BMW and Cadillac are both alike. They make vehicles that look nice on the outside but don’t run well and the customer service is horrible.

After coming from Texas with a Cadillac Escalade esv 2007 which never gave me problems before until now the car left me an my kids stranded on Seigen ln had my roadside assistance in route to pick it up an take to this dealership I called let them know the situation an they refused service or anything the lady on phone with services was rude! I’m glad I was able take my car elsewhere but just wanted leave my review of the horrible customer service at this location If you have a vehicle older like 2007 forget it! Overall service was horrible. The receptionist did not acknowledge me when I entered. I called to ask for the manager, the receptionist stated that the manager was too busy to speak to me, meanwhile I was standing right in her face. When the business manager came, she was rude and asking irrelevant questions just to say let me get a sales rep to assist. The sales rep did what he could to help but the damage was already done. I rather drive to New Orleans to purchase a Cadillac and I would recommend a customer service course for staff to complete ASAP.

Really disappointed honestly. Went to go see if they could make a repair but they literally told us we should be fine and just drive safe home. Didnt even attempt to check to see what the exact problem was and it happened to be the Brake Booster and something called the Master Cylinder. I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed because the car was becoming hard to drive. Will NEVER be coming to this place for anything ever again. Whenever we did call to get a quote they said around $900. Glad I went somewhere else and only paid around $500.
Would not recommend Gerry Lane Cadillac to anyone. Very unprofessional from the GM down to the Service Manager and service writer. Took them 3 weeks to tell me they had to order parts. Lied from the beginning to the end and still have not completed my repairs. Including ones that my warranty company paid for. My car is actually in worse shape then when I brought it in. Not a person there has any customer service skills. Was lied to and then they attempted to extort an extra $100 from me. I will need to bring my Cadillac to an actual dealership that can repair it. I have purchased several vehicles from Gerry Lane Enterprises, but will not buy anymore. I will go where I am appreciated. Please do your research so that you are not taken advantage of as I was.

I will make this brief. I went to Gerry lane to see a specific vehicle, I was told that the vehicle I wanted to see was in horrible condition and that the dash electronics did not work. Well my wife and I viewed 3 additional Escalades. The first Escalade was filthy, we were giving the excuse that they had just purchased it. The next vehicle door handle was brooke and full of pet hair. The last vehicle would not even crank. My overall experience was subpar at best. The sales men/women was funny, but had little knowledge of the vehicles.
I called on a Saturday to see if I might be able to get my oil changed. The person I spoke with was very courteous and informed me that I could bring my vehicle in and the wait time would not be excessive. He was right! I was also able to wait in a clean and comfortable area for my vehicle. I was impressed with the service, staff and facility.

I’m going to make this short but I went to this place to buy a used vehicle and I had a trade in well after the deal had been done with the trade and the deal with the new vehicle I was a happy customer until the bank where I had my loan for my vehicle that I traded in kept calling and saying I’m late on my payment and I kept saying I traded it in. So I called Gerry Lane and told them about it and all they would tell me is that we will take care of it! Well it wasn’t paid off in time and it’s been over 30 days so now I have a late payment on my credit report!! And I have been trying to get this off for months now and still no luck!

He immediately said no maam we dont do that, you are working with the people you have met. He was right! I have no idea how good they are because no one came to help me. My wife, son and I went Saturday and walked around for 20 minutes. A guy even came out and ignored us. No one should have to wait to spend money! I was looking to purchase an xt5. I guys Sewell in New Orleans will get my money.

The worse service department by far. I dropped my car off Wednesday morning. I didnt find out what was wrong with my car until Friday at 5:45 pm. I didnt get a quote until Saturday afternoon and thats probably only because I had to get ugly over the phone. They never called to keep me posted on my vehicle. I had to constantly call just to see what was going on. Even still after they finally told me what was wrong with them, I had to keep calling to get a quote. Theyd promised to call back after 10 minutes multiple times, but they never did! They do not care if you need your car. They hold on to it, they get to it when they want, they give you around, and they price you the double anybody would. After they quoted me they still told me itd take at least 3 days to have the part shipped. So, I decided to pick my car up and take some where else. The other shop I took it too had quoted me before they took a look at it. With in 30 minutes they had ran a diagnostics test and called to let me know what was wrong. One business day later my car was good as new with a new fan. Keep in mind I only paid half of what the Service Department at the Cadillac Dealership was charging. Honestly I wouldnt of even had a problem paying what they were charging, if they had only acted like they cared about my problem or provided quicker and more professional service.
My recent experience at Gerry Lane Cadillac was easily the best car buying experience I have had. Everyone at the dealership was knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. My sales consultant, Toby Williams, spent the time to hear what I wanted and needed and found me the perfect car! I love that I get a lifetime of free oil changes from Gerry Lane, and I have no doubt Ill continue to get 5 star treatment.

Their Service department has been very slow on everything I have chosen to bring to their department for one vehicle.To add insult to injury, they do not disclose the true cost to the customer on all their service fees (they will quote a diagnostic fee but charge you labor for any labor associated with diagnosis). Not how I conduct my business so warning all customers who are thinking of using this service department.There are many other GM or Chevy places that can handle the service of your vehicle for faster, quality service at a much cheaper cost. My two cents for what its worth.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. The most incompetent, unprofessional group of service mechanics I have ever met, management included. They kept my truck 3 weeks and after ALL that time they misdiagnosed it. I was told it was ready to be picked up only to have it break down not even a block down the road. I brought it back only for them to tell me SOMETHING else was wrong with it after waiting another week and they wanted another 1700$ after the 1600$ I already paid them. I spoke to THE manager and the supervisor. Neither one of them contacted me as they said they would or accepted responsibility for their technicians incompetence. Dissatisfied doesnt even begin to cover it. I will be reporting them to the BBB. If I wanted backwoods mechanic treatment I wouldve gone to such, I thought went to a reputable place. Guess not. 10 thumbs down.

I bought a car from them that had the sail panels/quarter window panels coming undone. I said I would get still get the car if they would fix the panels when I brought it in. They said they would, when I called one week later to get the panels fixed, they quoted me a price of over $250 per panel. I mentioned to them (and the same sales person) that I bought the car under the condition that they would fix the panels. Obviously, I should have gotten this in writing but I didnt realize that I was dealing with dishonest people who would renege on their promise to me. $500 was cheap compared to what came next - the clutch went out (stick shift Cadillac CTS). When I brought it to them, they at first denied there was anything wrong with the vehicle. After I insisted that something was not right they finally relented and agreed to fix it. The new clutch didnt even last 5,000 miles. Im a Naval Officer and, at the time, I was stationed in New Orleans. Unfortunately, I was already at my next duty station in San Diego, CA by the time this happened and they told me the warranty had expired (even though it hadnt) and that there was nothing they could do since I lived too far away to bring it in to the dealership. Total cost to have the transmission fixed (properly - the mechanic I took the vehicle to said the flywheel had been installed incorrectly) $1700 PLUS $500 to have both sail panels replaced (I had to as they were coming down to the point where my vision was being obstructed). Awful customer service and highly dishonest people. I cannot encourage you enough to STAY AWAY from these people.

Excellent response from service department... They came out and replaced the battery in my daughters car, under warranty. The technician showed up with all the tools and parts needed to complete the job. I will be shopping at Gerry Lane in the future as I value warranty support very highly.

I gave a positive star rating for the Sales Department. Your Service Department disappointed. Service Department tried the oldest trick in the book on me. Left something unscrewed, told me I needed an additional $1700 in repairs. I declined and took it to my regular mechanic. He screwed it in and charged me $100. I will give credit that Gerry refunded the $100 to me.

There service advisors do not keep you updated as to what is going on with your vehicle. They keep your vehicle for days without looking at it and are super unprofessional. I will never go to this dealership again.

Taking your car to service is not entirely a pleasant experience, especially if you care about time. I took my car to service, and a simple oil change took around 2 hours. Its even worse when they tell you that itll take around an hour, and they take double the time for a simple job like that. Im definitely not going back for a simple issue like that.

This dealership does not realize that they are selling/servicing luxury cars. First, unbeknownst to me, the dealership doesnt clean your vehicle after servicing it on weekends. I was appalled when the service guy by the name of Randy stated they only do that on weekends. Well, I work doing the week and also have my own business. Those two obligations prohibit me from coming during the week for servicing. Besides, Ive brought my car in for issues during the week that required I leave it with them for a few days, and my car was never serviced. This dealership also does not use paper floor mats when they enter in and out of the vehicles. On top of that, I found an ink stain on my light gray dashboard after leaving the dealership. Im more than sure the service individuals was maybe writing down the mileage or something from the dashboard. I intend to buy another car in a couple of months and I can promise you it will not be from this dealership!

I brought a 2007 DTS Cadillac around 9/14 with 53500 miles from your dealership. In 4/15 I notice excessive rust underneath it. With other concerns, I put it into your shop. Under a warranty agreement, I was told it shouldnt get worst. Fast forward today with 59000 miles, it has and now having AC and exhaust problems which your dealership, who I brought the car from, refuse to fix. Paid a $329 diagnostic fee and putted my car into another certified shop, who is now repairing my AC under the warranty agreement. Now Im pursuing legal action against you for my exhaust issues, diagnostic and rental car fees. My second car I brought from your establishment and most definitely my last!

My experience with Gerry Lane Cadillac has been completely different from start to finish. My good friend Toby Williams and the Gerry Lane team exceeded my expectations! Toby was able to find the Escalade I envisioned and allowed the vehicle to sell itself. Yesterday when I picked up my vehicle, after paying $815 to have it serviced, I had to drive straight to the store to buy an air freshener because it smelled like someone smoked two packs in my car. As a non-smoker and a paying customer I did not appreciate that at all.

Very poor service department. My car has been there three times within the last six months and service is unbelievable the worst. They kept my car for 4 four days to do a job which only required an hour. No one calls you about your car. Each time I had to call them for an update. This last time they did not even wash my car which they kept for 4 days for an ABS light on.I was not given a loner because there were 22 people on the list for one. Guess what they call me a week later telling me they had a loner for me. I would not recommend them to any of my friends or relatives. There is alot more I could tell about my experience, but Im keeping it short.
Poor customer service. I was told over the phone to take the part off my car .I came up there with the part .Services and parts told me this. When I came back with the part they told they need it on the car.So I came with the part they said it needs to be on the vehicle.I came back with it on the vehicle they told me I need it off the vehicle.Now this is going to be my thrid time going back to cadillac.Just sad how they treat customers. When I am unsure about buying a car, the last thing you need to hear from your sales person is some whiny, self-pitying attempt to guilt you into feeling bad and buying a car. Exact comment: Well if it isnt the car and it isnt the price, the reason you arent buying the car must be me. I must have done something wrong and not doing everything right. No, mofo, I just dont feel 100% sure about buying the car. UGH!
