Costco generally is a good place to shop for bulk items, but I recently purchased a TV from them and it suddenly stopped working on my birthday and it has been over 3 months waiting on the great 5 year included warranty to repair a 7 month old TV! This is unacceptable and Costco would not let me return it to the store because it is older than 90 days, I still have the box and I know that Walmart allows you to return within a year(manufacturer warranty) if you have proof of purchase and the retail package. Im starting to rethink this executive membership that I pay for, only to get less service......

If you want a straw you have to ask for it at the food pick up counter, because they dont have them available otherwise. The club had lots of fun Christmas decor and toys! I went with a friend. I only have a Sams club membership. The nearest Costco is 1 hour away

Great for getting selective items in bulk. For cats your stuck with maintenance cat. Not impressed. For dogs the back wall has so many brands to pick from. Same think with dryer sheets at least two to pick from and many brands of detergent. Seems odd. Required mask yet drink cups with straws and lids were exposed at the snack counter. The chicken bake was pretty good but now it seems they overcook it.

Lots of good stuff. Its a bummer when you find something you continually purchase and then it goes away. Some items come back and some dont. Overall the place is great and has great deals

Costco came through! We went to pick up a couple of last minute things for the hurricane. When we arrived, the associate outside announced that they were out of water. Well, after about 45 minutes, I guess they received a truck. They brought out water pallets one after another. It was orderly and they were patient. It was as if they trained for this day. Hats off to the entire crew for making a potentially stressful situation stress free.

They moved people through the lines quickly. I was able to park choose to the door. Good prices on what we wanted. People were masked and everyone was civil!

This place is absolutely massive. It can be a little tough to find personnel when needed, but most everythings pretty intuitive, and the prices cant be beat. Now if only they had their salads in a smaller size, itd be perfect!

Good selection at great prices. Protein prices are what I find to be best value for the quality. The Kirkland brand products are always good and the store is well kept and staff are helpful. Make sure you try the pizza and/or hot dog at checkout.

We have a small dog who just started having seizures every 3-4 hours. We have not received the meds to help prevent the seizures so she stays with us 24/7. Hurricane Aida has impacted everyone. We went to Costco to do some shopping and had our pup in the basket on a few blankets. We were told we could not have her in the store period. We can bring her into Rouses, Winn Dixie, and other stores and are always told to have a nice day s as no thank you for shopping. We were told that the dog would have to sit in the car while we shopped. Yeah right sir, that’s not going to happen it’s only 96 degrees and then in a hot car. We were told it was their corporate policy. Well, guess you won’t get our business any longer. Thanks Costco for helping out after a hurricane with a sick pet.

Favorite place to visit when in Baton Rouge. Busy, but checkout lines always move quickly. Store is maintained with cleanliness.

I love this Costco. Its clean, workers are friendly. You can tell they enjoy their work place. (Hard to find these days in BR.) Great selection of alcohol, food, housewares. Amazing experiences every time.Only thing Id like more, is more vegetarian options at one time.

After waiting one hour in line at the tire center a couple days ago to get new tires I was told it would be a four hour wait. I was given options on tires and made a selection for my appointment. I was not given the option to purchase them to reserve them. I came early for my appointment, I was offered to schedule an appointment and arranged someone to pick me up. After another long wait to just speak with someone at the desk, the mechanic told me they did not have the tires I needed in stock and did not have a way to save my information and reserve the tires. I’m not sure why they would make the appointment in the first place. This was an extremely frustrating situation. I do not have time to wait for hours at Costco or take a risk and get the tires I needed and the ones they had available were $300 more. I am a premium member and too often shop at Costco this was such a disappointing experience.

Great store and staff. They have young men working there that gladly help load your vehicle if needed with no tipping allowed. Love this store!!

Love to get my gas there! Sometimes a wait but that’s part of it. I saw the attendant pump gas for 2-3 cars that had a handicapped hang tag or license plate. Over 25 years when I was a full serve attendant we pumped gas for handicapped people as well. Good for them!

Cashiers are super quick. My only problem is that there are always rude shoppers. Always in a damn hurry. Always people there to go out of their way to cut you off. Weird.

Stop on way home, after evacuating for hurricane. Though crowded, the line moved rapidly and we were able to get home safely.

First time shopper, Sunday after noon; getting gas is one way in/out and no place to turn around so know which side your gas cap is on if not driving your car.Was busy but not crowded; the staff was prompt and courteous getting the ID, the tire guy was enthusiastic, knowledge and very helpful even though I was just checking out the prices for further down the road...ha. All in all my first time there was a very positive one and hopefully it will remain the same next time with clean organized store, tidy product placement and happy employees not just selling their wares, but engaging and helpful. Ill be going back.

During the hurricane, they chick-fil-ad the line for gas/fuel/petrol and everything went smooth.

This is a great Costco. I have celiac and finding a store that carries gluten free is hard. Finding a store that carries great gluten free is near impossible. To find a Costco that carries gluten free with the amount of traveling that we do is crazy hard.This one had not only snacks but bread.Thanks Costco!!

Always great sales and prices especially on gas I only fill up if Im at Costco just makes so much more sense and way cheaper than a regular gas station.

I was pleasantly surprised. The quality of the products is outstanding. They have a wide variety of meat products.But what the most important thing to me was how nice and helpful were all the employees. All of them tried very hard to help me find what I was looking for.

I was finished shopping and I had an arm full of goods. I dropped my hot dog and my brisk ice tea. One of Costco employees saw me trying to pick it up. Costco visits are always pleasant. I just wish they would put a scanning gun in the self checkout at all registers. Its kind of an inconvenience to get the attention of the person working in that area to scan your heavier items.

My husband was able to walk each isle for me and pick up the stuff we need. He is hoping to we can make less trips to Wal-Mart and the grocery store and save money. I love the store. The help t here is courteous and helpful.

We always go to this location, however this visit was very different than most. I was very disappointed as soon as I entered the store. The door greater let another guest walk right past her & did not bother her. However once my boyfriend & I walked in she asked us for our card. I said that I had it & she would not take my word for it, she literally took a few steps towards us & stated that she needed to see it. I felt really racially profiled, she really didn’t even greet us she just blatantly ask for our card.

We received a membership as a gift. When we went to redeem it with the welcome card (and receipt), they would not accept. Apparently, theres a was a gift card taped inside the box. We live out of town (40 minute drive) so we traveled back home and luckily we still had the box and found the card.The next weekend, we tried again, with the gift card this time. They immediately tried to up-sell us to a executive membership for which we refused. They charged us taxes on the membership (weird). We had to pay with cash because they wouldnt take MasterCard or Amex. But we did confirm they took Google pay so we went shopping. At checkout, Google pay wouldnt work because they said I needed a PIN (my Google pay is linked to MasterCard). I dont have a PIN. And I didnt have enough cash on hand to pay.So we had two long 40 minutes trips to Costco and zero groceries. You cant make this stuff up. 1 star establishment.They could have let us shop the first time with a 1 day pass or something. And they should accept more than just VISA. They did try real hard to get me to sign up for VISA Costco card too.

Today I went to Costco because I wanted to stock up on some things in case we go into a state of quarantine here in the US. As you might assume, it was crazy and chaotic and there were hundreds of people there. There weren’t enough parking spots so I had to park on the grass field behind the lot. It was what I expected given the circumstances in our world today.The employees were doing an INCREDIBLE job working with all the customers, telling them when they entered the store that everyone could not get one of specific high demand products (toilet paper, sanitizer, etc). They were incredibly efficient and worked together as a team to ensure we weren’t in the store too long or too stressed. The line went all the way back to the back of the store but they still got ya through in less than twenty minutes.This Costco has extremely incredible customer service and I hope these staff get some sort of reward from the company for being so amazing during such a stressful time.

This location continues to decline in the 3 years since it has opened in Baton Rouge. The staff is often rude and overwhelmed, their produce is hit or miss in quality, and I just often times dont find the items I am looking for. The one bright spot is their gas station experience. The attendants are always helpful and the process is quick and efficient.

If it was available I would give a 0.Pulled in with the motor home and was not in the parking lot 30 minutes. Lot was empty due to this major ice storm. Was just getting ready to go in for a weeks worth of food after taking note of our needs, when manger came out and told us to leave.I would not want this manger working for me, or any of my companys. This is NOT the way to treat your customers. And a fine example of Costco.Happy to take our business elsewhere.

This is our main store to do our shopping at. Everyone is courteous, kind, and welcoming. They go above and beyond to ensure we leave satisfied. Excellent customer care. Clean facility. As big as it is, they remember their regulars. They’re great!

We were there to pickup a certain item, goats cheese. There was none on the shelf, so they looked it up and found it was in the back, but the employees didnt want to get it today, so they said we should come back tomorrow! I will not!! If business is that good, you dont need mine.

I like this costco. Staff is helpful and nice. Im impressed masked requirements are really enforced even when person doesnt want to. Associate advise lady to wear one and she made medical condition excuse. the associate was professional to inform her everyone must have some form of face covering. Associate offered a face shield and lady rejected being sarcastic saying she had medical condition and would need mouth to mouth soon after wearing one. Associate was calling manager on two way radio when the lady pulled out a cloth mask. Two thumbs up for standing up the lady and enforcing the policy.

I love Costco! Its so nice to have access to quality organic food and healthier products for my family that we can purchase in larger quantities. Thats not to mention all of the other cool non-food items, like furniture. I always know my produce is going to be fresh and delicious.

This location should not represent the other locations in other states. However writing this review because of rude register clerk that’s been there since 2016. Her name is Regina. Maybe she had a bad day but she is very rude while checking out. Almost entitled and bossy while she was checking us out. I shop at Costco all the time in other areas but this has by far the worse customer service ever. Regina should learn how to talk to people and honor the brand. Surely needs some more training no matter the day. One star because I love Costco.

Update:As no one from Costco seems overly concerned about their not honoring my tire warranty, Im thinking a little more clarity is needed.The Tire Department manager is quite young, and exceptionally arrogant. Often borderline rude. As such several older tire dept people have moved elsewhere.To have him flat out refuse my warranty (without documentation backing his refusal) and even low key stage whisper f.....g boomer just loud enough for me to hear was quite something.And going so far as to tell his manager in front of a customer I dont care, Im not doing it. With little to no respect for her in his voice. And the manager backing him.This was 4 months ago and no one at Costco seems concerned enough to return my attempted contact.Which is embarrassing to me because until this occurred I would actually tell people they should ditch others and go to Costco.Turns out (just like with others) customers are just a number.And just to let everyone know, this is the Costco I started my initial membership with, back when they opened...

Every time I come here I have had a pleasant experience. The staff are always friendly and helpful, they always keep their items in stock and their store is kept pretty clean. The only downside i see is they are always busy and sometimes the lines can be pretty long.

Place is usually well stocked. Had one issue ever dealing with them... Nothing huge. Manager was attentive and respectful. Seems to be better customers that come here too. Theres a difference between Sams in denham versus this place. Classier people who arent offended by a mask mandate come here.

Costco needs to figure out what science theyre going to follow, they seem to think that if you are no where near anyone you need a mask. Cant we all just try to use logic, I know its a whole lot to ask for.

Overall this is a good store however a lot of the workers have recurring attitudes way too often
