Excellent customer service. They are so patient when working with clients on custom designs and getting every detail right. They made my wedding set from a photo with little edits I wanted and took into account that I wear gloves a lot by making a low smooth setting. Theyve done repairs on other pieces I have, mounted a pearl I got from a trip, and designed a custom anniversary set for me.

Mr. Hannon hand made my engagement ring, wedding band & day of wedding present from my husband (necklace pictured)! I purchased a beautiful WG diamond ring from Mr. Hannon in 2015. I brought it in to have it cleaned and he suggested that I get a full service deep cleaning polish and rhodium plating since the WG had worn off. OMG when I got my ring back about a week later I fell in love all over again!!! My ring looked brand new!!! My story is quite lengthy but Ill keep it short:I was in search of a jewelry store to purchase a wedding band for my fiancé. I went to a few jewelry stores around baton rouge but NONE of them treated me with the respect and hospitality that I received from Chai and Mr. Hannon. From the moment Chai buzzed me in the door, she treated me as if I was about to purchase a $10,000 piece of jewelry. When I came in I found out that Chai had just finished training and was new to Hannons. Despite that, she was VERY knowledgeable and great! She helped me design a customized wedding band for my fiancé AND helped him pick my engagement ring! I will ALWAYS purchase my jewelry from Hannons from now on. My experience at Hannons Jewelers was like none other that I had with previous jewelers. They catered to what I wanted and also helped me find a reasonably priced Diamond. They were very transparent and went over multiple diamonds and there prices and even explained the quality of the diamond pertaining to the clarity,color,etc. Hannons Jewelers care for their customers as if they were family. Hannon’s jeweler has been great! We got our wedding bands and engagement there. The staff is super knowledgeable and incredibly helpful! We have used Hannon Jewelers several times over the years for purchases, resetting, and even just replacing watch batteries. We had my original engagement ring reset and added extra wedding bands. The quality and customer service is and always has been tremendous. This year we decided to have a tanzanite ring reset that we bought on a cruise ship 5 years ago. I have to say I am blown away at how it looks now! Mr. Hannon guided us in the process of choosing the right design for the shape of my stones, and guaranteed it would be ready for our 20th anniversary, even though we gave him short notice. The stones have also never been cleaner, and my ring could not be any more beautiful!

Their customer service is great.. but I’ve had problems with my engagement ring from faulty metal to the diamonds falling out. The faulty metal came out right after they resized it (the metal just started falling apart), then I paid to have one diamond replaced, and now the main diamond has fallen out.

There are many jewelry companies in the Baton Rouge area who are willing to evaluate jewelry but are only store managers. Dont waste your money on these individuals. Mr. Hannon is a certified master jeweler, graduate gemologist from GIA and a certified gemologist appraiser from AGS. These individuals are certified and are the only ones who carry weight, as it applies to documents that purport value. Mr. Hannon also has a great selection of in-store jewelry to chose from, as well as providing an endless array of customizable features upon request. If you are looking for great service, selections, customized care and accredited individuals, this is where you need to be doing business.

My husband told me I could upgrade my wedding set after 13 years of marriage. I walked in knowing what I wanted and Doren helped me picked exactly what I was looking for. I don’t know where all these positive reviews are from. My experience was much different. I researched diamonds and rings for months and knew what I wanted and an expected price for what I wanted. When I went in, the gemologist was not polite at all, in fact, he was quite rude. He was frustrated with my questions and became defensive when I showed him prices of competitors. He told me that he would not answer my questions or help me further unless I promised to buy from him - I was astonished at how rude he was. That’s a horrible business model by the way. I purchased the perfect engagement ring elsewhere and saved money in the process.Edit:Bayardo is who I met with. He was rude, condescending, and very unprofessional. I’m well aware there are others diamond factors besides price. Hence why Bayardo became offended when I knew what I was talking about and showed him the same GIA reports for better quality diamonds at a lesser price. Horrible response and horrible ownership.

The owner remembered my fiancee and the ring immediately and was able to help us out a ton by getting it resized very quickly so I could show off my ring to my family the next weekend. I have had several repairs done, our wedding rings inscribed with personal messages, my pearls restrung, my 26-year-old engagement ring reset, and a custom ring designed and created.
