Extremely limited selection. I wasnt impressed by any of the rings they had, especially since all of their diamonds were microscopic. Nobody bothered to help me while I was in there by myself looking at rings, but when the person I was with walked in to meet up with me, the employee wouldnt leave us alone. They seem to only cater to men or couples.
Recently I had an issue with a weaker chain my husband purchased and Courtney took care of me. She was courteous, respectful, knowledgeable, helpful and took time to work with me to find a suitable, beautiful replacement. Thank you Courtney! I did not expect to have such an enjoyable experience.
I have had many experiences with this Kay Jewelers and have yet to be disappointed! Ariel (?) is a wonderful sales person who is funny, helpful, and not pushy what so ever. She did not make us feel uncomfortable or obligated to buy. Her and Ms. Brenda are two of the best there and I will definitely come back to them. The rings I bought was reasonably priced after they both gave me discounts and helped with deals.
Went in today to check on an order. The woman scuffed at me as I walked in. She went as far as to tell me “ we will call you, it’s best you don’t come back”Good for her, after this order I won’t be back...ever.
So much better!!!! Thank God for new management! Taylor is awesome! I was about to drive over an hour to avoid having to go to the location in the mall and then I decided to give them one more chance. Luckily for all Kay Jewelers customers they have a new assistant manager named Taylor that has made some great changes in the customer service and staff. I work in retail and would be lucky to have employees with the personality and customer service that Taylor has. I hope all of the management pays attention to how Taylor takes care of her customers.
After spending 20k here for a wedding set with Dana Augustine 1.5 years ago, I go in today for the 6 month inspection only to be told they no longer do inspections on Friday through Sunday. I was the only customer in the store with 3 employees. They said that all Kay locations do that now. I called Tanger location and they told me to come on in. When I got there they were already inspecting another ring. They were kind and courteous at Tanger. Not arrogant like in Mall of Louisiana. I will not be back to this location. Bringing all my business to the Tanger location from now on.
Had a ring on layaway. They said layaway was discontinued and they would refund me my deposit. 15 days later, I called the customer service they had no record of a refund on file but they did see that the layaway was cancelled. Thankfully the customer service lady fixed the issue. The lady at the store originally stated the refund will be delivered in 7-10 business days.
So even after all the bad things I hear about this place my wife still decided to give them a shot. She ordered me a new wedding band bc I lost mine mud riding. She ordered the ring on Sept 9th 2019. She was told it would be in within 10 days. Ring comes in, its like a size 12 when it should be an 8.5. We send it back. Then however long after that it finally comes back in and guess what! Now its a 7. Too small. Send it back again. (Not to mention, no one seemed to care how frustrated we are) here it is November 30th. Ring comes in, wrong freaking ring!!! Gave us our money back and now going to zales. They didnt even care. Never coming back.
The lady that helped me today was very pleasant and nice, the older lady that helped me last time and was there today is awful. She ignores everyone other than the person she is gossiping with, for at least 20 minutes today, and last time when she helped me it took forever!!! I tried calling last night to check on the rings I was waiting on and no one ever answered, today I figured out why, they completely ignored the phone when it rang while I was there, more than once. The lady helping me had an excuse, the other lady was just too busy chatting, not helping a customer, they were just talking about personal stuff.Very unprofessional.

My boyfriend and I were exploring different jewelry stores to see our options for an engagement ring. The salesperson was nice at first. But when we told her we werent buying anything just yet because we were still exploring our options, that smile literally disappered from her face and she just walked away. She didnt talk to us anymore and didnt even acknowledge us when we left. She just completely lost interest in us just because we werent buying yet. Customer service can make or break a business. And because she lost interest in us, we lost interest in them. We are not considering them an option anymore.
Love this store! All of my jewelry is from here & I have a lot... I love the ladies! They are helpful & courteous to me & playful with my daughter...

I’ve never been treated so rudely. Ashley must hate anyone that’s not the same skin color as her. I’d rather spend my money where I’m going to be treated as a human being.
My husband and I went to exchange a diamond ring for a diamond necklace. A new girl was helping us and handling the exchange. The manager would not help her at all. She made fun of her, demeaned her and laughed at her. Worst experience ever! We wanted to leave and not give that store our business, but we wanted the new girl to have her sale, we felt so sorry for her. The manager was so rude and we spent $2k there. Already complained to corporate and have a mouthful to tell them about how the manager degraded her own employee. Disappointed to see that happen.

I would like to share with my friends-especially those in the market for some jewelry-what my husband and I have gone through since September trying to get his wedding band from Kay Jewelers, Kay Jewelers.We ordered the comfort fit band in a size 14 which is what the lady who sized him said he should get. They came in before the wedding of course and they looked great. We tried them on for a second and put them in the box and didnt open them again until our wedding in September. After trying to wear it, Joshs ring was way too big, and kept falling off, so he didnt wear it. The next week, the last week of September, we went in. The manager was sympathetic and explained that since he ordered the comfort fit band, they shouldve told us we needed to order a size down. She showed us a paper she made saying just that and explained that she kept it by the wedding bands so everyone would know. She apologized and said she would reorder it and it should be in by Oct 14th and theyd call us. We stayed there a while as she entered everything she needed into the computer.On Oct 31st, we still hadnt heard anything so we went back to see what was going on. We were told by the same manager that put our order in that there was no record of our order and that she would call us tomorrow. After not getting a call for two more weeks, we went back to see what was going on. She insisted that the problem was that we never came to got it and that it had been cancelled and sent back. She stated this several times and each time I replied with the fact that we had come in. She snapped that she was now fixing the problem. After putting everything in the computer, we were told the ring would come in Dec 21st.On Dec 21st, we went to the store because we hadnt heard anything. They printed a paper and showed us that it had been pushed back to Jan 5th. I called on Jan 5th to ask, and they said they hadnt received it but they hadnt gotten their UPS shipment for the day yet and would call.When my husband got off work, he called and was told by the manager that she discovered that some UPS shipments had been stolen; she said the UPS driver had been meeting up with someone in the mall and getting them to sign for the shipment and taking all the shipment. She explained that we were not the only ones that had been complaining about the missing shipments and she wasnt sure how long it had been going on. He asked what we needed to do about getting the ring, and she said she would call back tomorrow and let us know when she had talked to the district manager. After no calls the next day, Josh called when he got off work and got the assistant manager. The assistant manager said he had no idea what he was talking about, said he thought he heard someone talking about it and wasnt sure, and that the manager would call us back tomorrow-which is today.As of 4 pm today, we still havent heard from him, in fact they have never once called either one of us although we made sure they had our phone numbers.At this point, I have no idea what we are going to do, but I think we will get our money back and never deal with them again. Weve spent almost four months trying to get his ring. I have never dealt with such incompetence before and hope to never do this again.Do not under any circumstances do business with this company, and definitely not at the Mall of Louisiana.
I wish that I could give this review no stars. I purchased a diamond engagement ring and they could not find the certification paper work from the manufacturer, so they told me that they would order it form me and that it would take two weeks. Janice, the woman who I purchased the ring from, picked up the phone when I called two weeks later and stated that they had a new manager and that they were doing inventory and that she would get back to me. Two weeks after that I called back and was told that it had not come in and that they would have to special order it and it would take 8 weeks and that they would call me. 10 weeks later I called and was told that by Janice that they had no record of that transaction. 2 weeks after that I took the ring in to get resized and cleaned and spoke with Janice, who is blind as a bat, and her new manager about getting this ordered and how they dropped the ball and they told me that it would get taken care of and I could pick it up when I came to pick up the ring once it was cleaned and resized. NOpe, at this point I called back, spoke with 5th store manager in 6 months and was told that I would have to pay money to special order something that they could not produce when I purchased the ring. I was Irate and told them to fix it or else and so I was told that in 8 weeks I would have my paperworkwe are now at 10 weeks again and I have had to get the main office involved so that they will do their job. Please do not give this location your time and money
I can 110% say I will NEVER use Kay again, especially not this horrible location. Ive been without my engagement ring for over a MONTH now so lets start from the beginning. I went into the Mall of Louisiana location with the intent of getting the center diamond of my ring switched out with morganite. I initially spoke with the store manager, Courtney. Courtney told me if I were to send in my ring that day I would have it back two weeks later..which would have fell on a Monday. Wellll Monday rolls around I call to be sure its ready before I come get it. P.S-for someone who is newly engaged 2 weeks without your ring is a long time so I was really eager to go pick it up! The lady who answers the phone informs me that it will be another full week before I get the ring back..I was banking on getting my ring back that Monday for my engagement dinner the following Wednesday. I let the lady on the phone (Brenda) know to just go get the ring back to the store and I would come pick it up and drop it off when I didnt need it for anything. She told me it wouldnt be back until the end of the week..just to send the ring back!!! I was upset at this point and put my Fiancé on the phone. After talking to him the ring can suddenly be back at the store the very next day..showing me they werent willing to do what could have been done from the beginning. I pick up the ring on Tuesday evening just in time for the dinner. A week and a half goes by and I decide to drop the ring off again..I was told it would be done in two weeks which would be the Saturday, August 26th. I called on the 26th to ensure it was ready before driving 45 mins to get it..of course, its not! The girl on the phone informs me that it will be in store on Monday. I asked if she was positive and her response was, Im 97% sure. Doesnt sound very reassuring, right? It wasnt. I called today, Monday, August 28th. Brenda answered the phone (very sweet lady btw) and says let me call the center and check on that. By that I obviously knew the ring wasnt in their possession. After being on hold for around 5 minutes Courtney, may I add the store manager comes to the phone. She informs me it will be $675 (she originally told my Fiancé, It shouldnt be more than $300) and it will BE ANOTHER TWO WEEKS) Youve got to be kidding me, right???! With anger in my tone I told her that it had already been a over a month and her response was, I dont know what happened. Thats All. That she doesnt know what happened. I nicely told her to get my ring back and I will just pick it up. It blows my mind that that is how management handles a situation as such. Im a restaurant manager and although we may be in different departments I know how and what youre suppose to do to take care of your customers and thats not it. I honestly never do reviews unless I am really upset with a situation because I know how it is on the other side but this just makes me so angry. Like I said at the beginning Kay will never receive my business again and I will spread this story by word of mouth as much as possible.
Very helpful. Had multiple employees who could help multiple clients. And helped with every question about every minute detail. They are just terrible about answering phones
This place is the worst that Ive ever seen. Warning, stay away... My mother-in-law (73 years young) received a ring from a friend (paid cash) and attempted to return to the store with receipt. Its been two days and both the salesclerk and managers has told the mother-in-law to keep checking back at store to verify if the store has the funds ($190) to refund.What type of business doesnt keep money for returns!! This is there policy.Brenda was rude and short with mother-in-law.
