This grocery store location on Jones Creek is like walking into a Rouses Supermarket. I cant speak for other locations, as Ive never been but I honestly enjoy shopping at this Hi Nabor. Its very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful!

Awesome store. Fully stocked in our time of desperation. First bit of meat in a week. Grabbed all I could pretty much keep fresh via generator. Hi-Nabor have stepped up to bat for us and couldnt be prouder of them for that. Looks like my grill gonna be getting a good workout this coming week while we hope for power restoration. Thanks Hi-Nabor.

Went to the notary. Store was clean, well lit, employees friendly. Notary did a good job, quick and knows her stuff. Highly recommend.

I didnt buy anything but I have been there before, their seafood is very good and tasty i would recommend them to anyone, the boiled shrimp are delicious and the workers were very nice.

Still Awesomest uniquely different store. Dont my.my.my.my.my.my.my word for it. Go and see. Very friendly staff. Extremely clean. Give an effort to find just what you cannot find when looking for it yourself. ... There is one young man that really goes out his way to show you where things are when we as shoppers cannot find it ourselves. Instead of just saying where it might be like a wild goose chase. My son Cordell is the 1 who will assist when others cannot.

Had a wonderful experience from the food deli very courteous and the food was excellent u all way hear about bad experiences but this one was great.

They always have this weird smell there but otherwise its great 😊

Quaint little place with a good vibe and friendly staff. If I can get it from Hi Neighbor I dont go anywhere else. Not as big a selection as bigger chain stores but the people more than make up for it. Its nice to have a conversation with the cashier, instead of a cold self check-out.

Great locally owned food store that has everything, including a great food court for packaged lunches and dinners. Convenient and fast to get in and out. Even has a full service notary inside and the ability to pay some utility bills onsite.Great and friendly place to shop.

This store is very strong with profiling, soon as a Africa American male with dread or braids come through the door it’s a red flag. They will call all managers and workers to the front of the store to stand by the door. They will not leave into to they see you pay for your product. I’ve only been to this location twice and it happens everything. I have shop at other locations and never experienced what I experience at this location. This location is a bad representation for hi neighbor!!

Prices are similar to an Albertsons or Rouses. Large selection of foods and produce. Not overly busy but still busy. Very well kept.

In general, I have no complaints about Hi Nabor. Until now. This review is strictly about their live crawfish. We paid $2.50 per pound, at a time when live crawfish are averaging $2 per pound, based on the large size of the boiled ones they are selling in the store. But, the crawfish we received were incredibly small. A few large or mediums were thrown in. But, the majority in the two sacks we purchased were very small. Only a small number were dead. But, that did not make up for the size.

Hi Nabor on Jones Creek is being remodeled right now. Looks really nice. The produce department is huge now. A lot more user friendly. This store always has people in Customer service which is nice since I buy lottery tickets twice a week. Locally owned store.

A very nice older supermarket where the employees are top notch and I just love their meat selection. I drive way across town to come here occasionally.

This store has been a part of my family for years. However lately their meat products has not been the freshest lately. Meaning it looks great under the store lights or freezers but the meat doesnt last long or it change color faster. They should work on their meat department

Best Steaks And Local Seafood In Town

Hi Nabor has an excellent deli that serves great hot meals with a fantastic variety to chose from. The workers are always polite and happy.

The store I go to is always nice and clean not only this the one but the bathrooms are clean. I mostly shop in the meat department. I think the prices are reasonable. Give them a try for yourself, I think you will love it. The workers are so nice and friendly and you dont have to wait in long lines, because they open their registers as needed.

Even though the store is undergoing a remodel, it was clean and well organized and stocked. Bread was nearly empty but the rest of the store was in good shape. The registers were well staffed and the cashiers were friendly.

I usually go to Wal-Mart but I stopped here to see what it was, im not from around here so i had never heard of it. I LOVE Hi Nabor! The employees are so nice and the store is clean and has everything I need. Plus a SUSHI bar!!! So good!

They were out of shredded iceberg lettuce. Waisted my time.

Deli with hot food including breakfast and cheeses, cold cuts, etc.. Notary. Very important to nearby neighborhoods. Very helpful friendly staff.

I love the hot plate lunches. Every Friday is *fry day* and they do shrimp, catfish, cheese sticks, okra, all types of other fried goodness. On the weekdays the hot lunch is never bad. If you go close to closing time for the hot deli. They load you up. For the cheap!!!Also their chicken salad is hands down the best ever

Great place to shop with a family-like atmosphere. Most importantly the store is always clean and shelves are stocked and organized. They carry all the Louisiania brands that we use on a daily bases. The managers and cashiers may not know my name, but they know my face and treat me like a good patron. Ill always support locally owned businesses over big chains, even if I have to pay a fee pennies more.

Very clean store and they have what I need.My wine opener broke and they had cheap ones on the wine. aisle.Having a notary and dmv convenient so I got my I’d made and my best friend had hers renewed there.Great red wine selection for little bottles and big bottles.They sell my Ava grace red wine there.Store is walking distance from my apt.I go to store a couple times monthly.

I have always loved this chain. Only they closed the location near me. Now I have to travel about 8 miles one way to shop here. I still do it a couple of times a week though. It is that good! Great hot meals from deli also.

Best place to get quality meat at unbeatable prices. Hi Nabor is a Baton Rouge institution and while the store isnt as flashy as the larger chains, theres no better place to find locally-sourced foods. The selection of general groceries is a bit limited, but I prefer to go here where Ill get good quality at great prices than a huge chain store where Ill overpay and have little chance of buying local.
