Rouses, as usual, was wonderful. Clean, had a good supply on the shelves, even after the storm, and friendly staff.

I usually go to Rouses for the cake since there so good. However I recently bought one of there chocolate 7 layer cakes and it was just horrible!!! The bread was so dry it crumbled and fell apart. I think it had gone stale. Literally no flavor. If you go and buy a cake from there, be careful of getting a stale cake or food for that matter. Also it took 10 minutes for someone to attend me. When I got there everyone went to the back.

I love Rouses, they are one of my favorite Grocery stores. They always have great sales prices. Im there at least three times a week for lunch or groceries. One of my favorite employees is Mrs. Nikita King I first met her in Rouses deli department but today she was working in seafood. Always smiling offering a kind word and letting you know what items Rouses has on sale for the week. I came in looking for something to prepare for dinner and thank God for her helping me. These days It is hard to find good custmer service. i would love to see more employees like Mrs. King at your stores

The store is always clean & well stocked. One of the finest stores in Baton Rouge. Bought boiled crawfish for the first time 2 days ago. They were great.

Visited 4 to 5 on weekday only 2 cashiers .Try adding self checkout.Also improve lighting throughout store.Fruits and veggies could use a water sprinkler.,appeared dry .U cant teach employees to smile but have coaching sessions regularly to enhance customer service.

Wasnt that bad as some would say it is. Bought some stuff out of the deli and it was freshly prepared, havent been sitting up there like some places you go to.

Staff is rude.. they do not care about how they make their food or customer service, Staff doesn’t stay in there station like the bakery.. nones ever really there, sometimes the cashiers are on their phone and not paying attention behind the candy rack, quality of food isn’t that great. Only good quality food item is the sushi.I’ve given this rouses multiple tries but they keep disappointing me.

Rouses is a convenient store for me to shop at because I live so close across the street.I have walked to Rouses.Good deal on processed cheese .99 love buying Ava Grace Red blend wine and 24 can case of diet Dr Pepper and Coke Zero.Rouses takes food stamps EBT another plus for me.

I spent most of the day calling around to local markets looking for something specific, even whole foods only to receive horrible customer service. So a big thank you the Martha in customer services! She is absolutely amazing!

Its pretty simple with Rouses. Huge selection of all kinds of tasty things. You might pay a little more than at other places but only a little. The deli here, along with the selection of Rouses original Foods is enough to feed the best of them.

Rouses is one of BRs premier grocery stores. A little pricey but very good quality and freshness. Specials usually draw me in and they do give rain checks. Nice prepared foods. Especially like way they put the shrimp out on ice for self serve but lately they are already bagged. They are wise to picking out the big ones apparently.Update: 1/28/21 went in looking specifically for a special advertised in their weekly flyer. Chicken breast for .77lb. None available and when asked for a rain check was told no. This is unacceptable.Lost leader or bait and switch are strategies I will not support.

I went into Rouses 11-10-20 around 5:30pm to grab some flour and a few other things before heading home after work. I walked inside the store and a black security guard was present in front and it was pretty crowded around the entry way so several people including myself were coming in and out. I worked to the wine area first with a co worker of mines and i noticed the security guard followed us to that area I didn’t pay it no mind due to the fact I’m not doing anything wrong or attempting. He came and approached us asked us are we coming here to do work and who do we work for?! I said We work for and said idk who that is. He went on to say that the men bag that I carry everywhere can not be on my person because people carry guns in them! I said sir I carry my belongings in here including my wallet. He said I will have to take my wallet out and he will have to take my bag to the front. I was in a hurry and didn’t argue so I handed over my bag with politeness but I found very profiling and rude. I have never experienced this before and it bothered me especially in today’s time as a black African American who’s out here as a successful business person making an honest living and who a CHRISTIAN! I’m not a confrontational guy so I need this to be address this because it was very uncomfortable shopping for that short period of time. God bless

Rouse’s is a great clean store with friendly, helpful employees that go the extra mile. That said, this Rouse’s often runs out of items on sale and my experience is that it’s extremely difficult to get anyone to answer the phone and if you do get an answer, you can never speak directly to the meat department. Please resolve this!

We shop here a lot. Great meat Dept. Deli is lacking - tiny selection, mostly private label. Sales are good. Pretty much convenience store pricing otherwise. Cashiers are great - friendly and efficient.

Rouses always has the best cuts and quality of meat, but this particular store smelled like a seafood market. The reason behind this is because its a repurposed store with very limited space, so there really is nothing they can do about it I dont think. The store is just small enough that any smells from the butchers area can and do travel through the whole store.The store itself, however, is extremely clean and well maintained/stocked. Its a good little neighborhood market with a very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff.

Picked up an item on clearance, but the price wasn’t reduced it just meant they aren’t carrying it anymore. Classic bait and switch. Also the rouses branded coconut sparkling water is falsely advertised as no added sugar. I guarantee you natural coconut does not have 19grams of sugar naturally for this serving size.

Great selection, local items helpful staff. Rouses has beautiful looking produce, a great wine selection. The meat and seafood looked wonderful. Every aisle offers many local items to choose from. There is even station to bottle your own honey. The staff is friendly and actively looking to help you. Aisles are tight and the parking lot is a mess but Ill definitely be back. I want to see what their prepared food section is all about...it looked tempting but was too packed with customers.

The service is very inconsistent, I find most the employees hate their job and it shows! The store is clean and it is organized well. I love rouses but this location needs to step up the customer care and interactions. I gave it three stars because if it wasn’t for the attitude and cashiers it would just be another grocery store, does not reflect the company as whole well at all... I’m from New York so I really look forward to rouses because it is such a fun southern shopping market but again this rouses in particular is kinda a let down

Post Dated Return Policy! Wow, I tried to return 2 packages of toliet paper. The Store Director said there was a policy in place effective 3/13/20 that no returns allowed after 3 days or if produce is defective. I DID NOT see this policy when I bought my items on the 14th. Youd think that during this time, they would be willing to give people their money back on an item that will definitely resale. Wow. Too Bad.

We love Rouses, but today was the first time we shopped and the shelf prices didnt match with the prices charged. So we are out a little bit of money it doesnt mean we wont shop there any more. The people are always friendly and helpful.

Awful . . . roaches in the produce section and fruit flies all over the fruit. I didnt make it any farther and left immediately.

What an absolutely beautiful store...right when I walked in someone was there asking if I needed any help 😀 they serve breakfast in the deli! Everything looks fresh and beautiful scents of coffee, fresh fruit and flowers fill the air. Prices are low to moderate, not to bad at all 😁 This is an awesome grocery store - Highly recommend

This is a nice, neat, and clean shopping space, with well organized shelves along with signage. The produce section offers organics and everything seemed fresh. The alcoholic beverage section has a great variety of wines at various price points as well as craft, in addition to mainstream beers, etc. There are also household items, so this can be a one-stop-shop. The prices are comparable to Albertsons and there are often advertised sales as well as in-store sales that offset some of the more costly items. The store staff at this location struck me as smart, courteous, and competent. I will continue to shop at this excellent local chain store.

Dont show up at 7:01 looking for hot food from their counter. Im not sure why youd pack up everything at a reasonable dinner time anyways, but let me tell you: if youre one minute late itll be in their freezer by the time you show up! The good thing is Fresh Market around the corner still has food out, or try Le Madelines across the street.

I really want to like this store and make it my go to for groceries but I was unable to find everything on my list and had to go to Walmart to get Bratwurst. I had the same experience at the Rouses on Lee on my last grocery trip.

I always receive excellent help locating an item quickly. Today I went in just wanting Rouses Cajun Sausage. I like to buy the family size value pack (8 to 10) sausages in a pack versus 4 or 5 typical pack. I was looking around and before I knew it I was asked can I help you find something sir?I think it was the butcher or manager of the meat department, I dont know for sure. I told him I like to buy the 8 - 10 count sausage packs. He turned to an employee next to him and said just put 2 packs together and mark the price family/ value pack (when Rouses advertise sale, this is price which is much lower per pound than the smaller retail 4 - 5 count packs)Again I am so very pleased with Rouses.

As far as local grocery stores go this place is high quality. I especially like their alcohol selection which is much better than any of the bigger chains (Walmart, Target, etc). Produce is high quality. Service is friendly

This Rouses is such a disappointment when compared to the ones in New Orleans. While the employees and the rest of the store are great, their deli/bakery is horrible. My time is more valuable than to list all of the complaints.

I wasnt too impressed by the sushi counter. I walked by to taste one of the samples and was reading the label because I liked it and their associate ran over and started hovering like I was stealing. I bought a pack even though it probably wont even by fresh by the time I get to eat it just to appease her. The place was great, the deli and bakery selection is better than any other Rouses I have been to and the checkout process was a breeze.

I signed up for Instacart to have Rousse deliver. It has been 3 days and still no groceries. Rousses gave me Instacart phone number I stayed on hold for 2 hours and no one ever answered. NEVER use this service

Great store for meat market. Very clean and great customer service. Groceries little high price. Gave it 4 star because the prices are wrong alot. I shop here often and marked price does not match register price little to often. Watch the checkout and remember what the shelf price marked.

This was a decent store. Everyone raves about it, but TBH its nothing super spectacular. well stocked, clean, well staffed, and good selection. Basically everything youd ask for.

This place started out great. The first time I went, almost all of the registers were open. Now when I stop by on the way home from work, there are one, maybe two registers open. There is always a line. Not sure why they would only have a two registers open at a busy time of day. The cashiers are usually friendly. Although one of them seemed to get miffed when I asked them not to put my raw chicken in with my prepared meal. Who wants to get food poisoning??

Nice remodel ... Not thrilled with their store Best Choice brand products. Cheaper price for mediocre products and not equivalent to name brands.The Extra Large Eggs seemed to have 6 smaller eggs mixed into the 18 Egg Carton. Quite obvious size difference!!

Was very disappointed in the lack of King Cake selection. Went to BLUEBONNET store to purchased 6 cakes mixed of Strawberry and Apple. Had a 100 cinnamon. Also some of the sale items were out of stock. Albertsons had what I needed.
