I had a great experience with Jeff at the Fret Shack! I brought in my vintage 65 Fender P-Bass with a twisted neck and he called me in two days with a straight necks, cleaned frets and better action on my #1 bass. I am now touring with the bass again and loving every time I get to play this baby. Jeff was easy to work with and very communicative about his process before, during and after the work. He even followed up a few days later to see how the bass was doing. I highly recommend you give Jeff a call if you need any repair.

I brought my guitar to Jeff to get the pick ups swapped out. Its my only guitar and I had to really trust someone in letting them do that kind of work. Jeff did an extremely solid refret on my 30-something Frankenstrat. And SERIOUSLY, the lowest buzz-free action, all the way up and down the neck, Ive ever seen. Amazing, patient work. Oh....and matching my preferred setup on my fleet of guitars was no small task. Pro! Turnaround time is as good as youll find anywhere. Id add more stars if I could.

I’ve owned a Takamine acoustic for over 20 years and I was never happy with the way it played. Jeff transformed it and now I can’t put it down. He also did a beautiful setup for a used Strat I got off eBay. Jeff is a master luthier with very reasonable prices. He takes pride in doing the least intrusive, least expensive repairs to bring out the best in the instrument. I can’t recommend him and the Fret Shack enough.
