Had them install five garage openers (2 in garage, 3 in my shop) in early 2000. Price was good and fair. They came out and installed them all in an afternoon. Things went so well my son had them install two openers about 6 months later in his shop.Fast forward to June 2021 and a problem developed with one of my openers. I called Doors Unlimited and explained the issues and the promised to have somebody out the next afternoon between 3 and 5. At 4 the next afternoon got a call from the technician that they were on their way and would be there shortly. Within about 10 minutes they had diagnosed the problem. They found that there was a pinched wire due to a poor routing of the wire during installation. They corrected the issue and put in their paperwork that it was an install issue. Got a call the next day from the office and they said based on the service technician feedback that there would be no charge for the service call even though it had been nearly a year and a half since the initial install.So all in all great pricing, good work and excellent follow up service. I would use them again in a heart beat.

From the first contact, quoting, guiding me to frame properly for the doors, to the install (it was not an easy one, a bit more custom than most), to payment. Nothing but the BEST customer service. Also a great value compared to another quote I got. Not the first time I have done business with them, and certainly not the last.

This is a bit of a long story, but please bear with me:We recently purchased a garage door opener and installation from a big box retailer. When the installer arrived, he indicated he was unable to complete installation of the opener due to defective parts. He explained the parts would be shipped and he would subsequently return to finish the job. He also suggested that we have our garage door spring tightened.I subsequently contacted Doors Unlimited to service the spring.Nate from Doors Unlimited inspected the garage door and indicated we needed new cables and said he would also check and tighten the spring, as necessary.When Nate knocked on the door about 30 minutes later he indicated he not only replaced the cables and tightened the spring, but he also finished installation of our garage door opener. Nate explained that Doors Unlimited also carries the Genie model we purchased, and that installation of that model is a bit different than typical openers. And…he didn’t charge us for the time spent completing the installation of the opener.This is a great reminder that while you may – or may not – save a few dollars with a big box retailer, the local firm goes above and beyond to provide unparalleled service. We will soon be in the market to replace both our entry door and garage doors, and we will absolutely return to Doors Unlimited.Thank you, Nate, for your friendly, professional service, and especially your generosity. We had 1 spring break on our very old aluminum garage door.. went ahead and replaced the other spring too! Dennis took no time at all.. even realized we had another issue and fixed that too.. Was done in no time.. Price was below a well known Company n BC...Im so glad I convinced my husband to cancel them..because I had seen your name a few years back on fb.....with very high reviews!We now see why!P.S. I had an older wooden garage door that was not working properly. It caused me stress every time it opened or closed, and also when it would not open or close when it was supposed to. A friend recommended Doors Unlimited and they came to the rescue. Now I have a nice new door, that used my existing garage door opener, and it fit my budget and my garage very well. My house looks better, and the door opens and closes easily. I think it is also more energy efficient than the door I had before. Thank you for the great job! This company is nothing short of amazing! They are soooo honest and after quoting us $300.00 to fix the problem that our contractor left US to deal with for more than twice that amount.... On the day they came out to fix the problem they only charged us $180.00 as we did not need any extra parts !!!!!!!! We are still in shock! Brilliant job!!!! They told us the truth and charged us an HONEST price! We would recommend this company to everyone!!!! Our garage door looks great!!!!
