My husband and I purchased a vehicle from here and had nothing but issues from the beginning, we had taken it to their garage for an issue of the vehicle stalling out they claimed they fixed it. We had a late payment right after my husband got laid of due to Covid and they took a payment from our account without permission which overdrew the account, when I called to ask them who gave them permission I was told “nobody we took the payment because you wouldn’t answer your phone” except my phone never wrong I didn’t have any missed calls, no missed texts, and no new voicemails. My husband had talked to them the day before to tell them out payment would be late due to him being laid off they then told us we had to provide proof to them that we had paid all our other bills and that’s why we couldn’t pay them and that it was in our paperwork which I never was able to find that tid bit and I didn’t feel that was something I had to do as I NEVER had to do that with ANY OTHER COMPANY EVER. A few weeks later we took a trip to Texas to visit a friend and got stranded out there when the truck suddenly stopped working. We called them to explain what had happened and that we couldn’t make the payments any longer due to being stranded with no additional income and that we would like to surrender the truck. The vehicle has been parked in my friends drive way since October of 2020 they have been supposed to pick it up but claim it wasn’t there which it is because it’s still sitting in the drive way it’s not running so it hasn’t gone anywhere and they still have not picked it up but have since wrote it off as bad debit. Don’t know what to do now as I don’t have the title they won’t pick it up and now my friend is being cited by the city she lives in… all because they won’t come get the vehicle. It has been a nightmare since the beginning and I don’t recommend anyone use this company unless they like buying useless vehicles. Would give zero stars if I could. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Very friendly staff! My trade in was rusted, the front was smashed in and I wouldn’t trust it for a 2 minutes drive up the road and they took it as trade in and got me in a 2013 car. They even lowered the price for me and with bad credit I only paid $500 down!!! I absolutely love this place and will continue to come back! I would definitely recommend this place to anybody trying to build credit or just needing a new car. Month payment is in a decent price range and I didn’t have to break the bank to get a reliable car! They work with just abt anybody and you can drive away the same day!

I’ve heard about this place through friends, co workers & on the radio. It’s always say on my mind but I tell myself “naaaah, I’ll never qualify.” Low & behold I decided to step out of my comfort zone and head on down there. I drove 1.5 hours just to visit this place. Brian was the worker who assisted me. He was so welcoming. I got to test drive any of the vehicles that I was considering. I was looking at 3 different choices. I got a 2008 Ford Escape with almost 118k miles. It runs soooo smooth. And they don’t even require you to have full coverage which is a plus! They make sure you get approved for a vehicle. This is the worst place to get a car. Durning pandemic they towed my car and when doing so ruined my bumper and tell me it was like that. Every 2 weeks payment is different. Then you call and ask questions about contract they hang up on you. It is the worst place to buy a vehicle.

This is the 3rd car I have purchased here. has been nothing but a nightmare to own. Had to have it repaired the same week I brought it home for head gasket and leaking coolant. They fixed it but less than 2 months later same problem. no help from them or the garage(Weltons) that did the repairs. Havent been able to drive it for over a month. Have replaced heat resistor and starter. Now they are automatically taking their payment out of my bank account without my permission or harassing me by phone before Ive even had a chance to call and make my payments. This will be the last time I do business with them. would give them zero stars if I could.

The carlot staff were amazing in helping me get into the vehicle I wanted back in September.. But the financial department is a joke.. Never late on a payment but when I called to use my husbands card for 1 payment 4 weeks ago they charged my card as well.. Never got reimbursed like lady said instead it Got kept for my next payment.. Never told her to save my hubbys card number either.. Yet this week when I call to make my payment off my own card like I usually do she charged my husbands card before even asking what card I was using!!! . Again NEVER told her to save my spouses card info!!!!

Buyer Beware!!!! Do Not Finance! Do Not Finance! Buyer Beware!Where do I even start...I had purchased a van from a woman who had bought and financed this van through Car and Credit. She had paid off her loan through them and the vehicle was paid in full. I though needed a release of lein for this van from them so I could go to secretary of state and title the van. I had drove to Car and Credit (1 hour drive one way) to get the release of lein. When I went in, I spoke with Jodi (finance department) who seemed very nice and polite but didnt seem to know how to actually do her job. All I needed was a piece of paper that says the van was paid off (normally they have a template on file to just print off). Well Jodi told me that she herself couldnt do it (why...idk). She said to come back tomorrow and she would have it ready. So I come back the following evening and she doesnt have it ready and tells me Marissa (finance manager) will be able to do it the following day and just to call her in the morning and follow up with her. Jodi had me leave the title with them for Marissa to look up the info the following day. I call Marissa the following morning around 9-10am and fill her in. She seemed very aggravated on the phone and made it seem as if I was inconveniencing her and that she had other things to do. My request did not come off as an importance and was unwelcoming. She called me back later and told me she could not help me because I was not the one who had financed the van, the woman I bought it off of was so she had to contact them. She also told me it could take up to a week to write something up (almost implying like its something they dont do) So...ok that makes sense other than the time frame. But...I had to drive back there again to pick back up my title in fear of the possibility of it getting lost in the meantime. 3 months go by, finally get back a hold of the woman I bought the van off of and filled her in. Because of the lengthy drive, she wanted to call them and get it taken care of. She told me she had called them and emailed them numerous times but could not get a phone call back from them. So...I again, drove back to Car and Credit for a 4th time to see whats the deal or issue with trying to get this simple piece of paper that I absolutely had to have. I go into the finance department and spoke with Mariisa and tell her what all is going on. The woman I bought the van off of finally got through to them and authorized the staff to give me the release of lein. So come to find out she did have a template on file (so the whole week thing prior come to find out was a lie). She gets me a release of lein for the van and I leave. I just so happened to double check the release of lein before I left and it was for the completely wrong vehicle. I go back in and get another release of lein by providing the vin to them once more. I go back out and double check again.... the vin was missing a letter and knowing how secretary of state is, it wouldnt have worked. I walk back in for a 4th time and Marissa wasnt in the room. Out of nowhere, Marissa yells from another room WHAT DO YOU WANT? YOUR STARTING TO PISS ME OFF!!!. I tell her that shes missing a letter and that I just need it done correctly. She does it over again and finally it was done right. Overall, I had 8 hours invested over 4 different trips to get one single piece of paper over a vehicle that was paid off. Never in my life have I ever gone through so much bs and seen such poor customer service. I myself have a college degree in business management and have worked in customer service for over 5 years and this service was absolutely unacceptable. I am so glad that I finally got what I needed and never ever plan to return to Car and Credit. On top of that, they call their finance department the Friendly Finance and they are so far from that. I can say the salesman seemed very professional and helpful but their finance department was absolutely atrocious. How can you trust them with your finances if they treat you this way! Buyer beware!!

Bought a car there have had nothing but 1 problem after another with this car needs 2000.00 dollars worth of work and the motor started ticking and they refused to fix it and then threaten to repo it because I was 3 days late I will never buy another car here again so if you want to but a 8000.00 dollar plus car and have to dump money into it right away this is the place to go

My experience started great but it turned terrible quickly.Car & Credit coin themselves as the “credit building” car place, they have Credit in their name even! I was a customer for almost 3 years and they never reported my on time payments to any of the credit companies.Only after I was in a near-death car accident did they say they would look into it and it was only because I needed a new car again. I called every 6 months asking them to report to ANY of the credit monitoring companies so my score would show on time payments and a lengthy account. They gave me so many excuses as to why they couldn’t help me. “We only report accounts once a year”, “we only report in July”, “You have to be a customer for 2 years before it will be reported”, “we can’t report because of COVID”, “maybe when they did the reporting you gave us the wrong social security number.”The excuses were ENDLESS!After I reported my accident they didn’t even ask if I was okay, they just said to give them a week and they could get me in a car again.The service is terrible and the girls in the payment department are consistently rude when you call to make payments. They don’t say hello or thank you EVER and they just hang up without saying goodbye. It was not good the entire time and I would not suggest this unless it is a last resort.
