I have been shopping here for 15 years; it used to be a place my family and I could count on for getting slightly expired, but still good food at a great price . Blue Knight is no longer that place. Prices are higher than Walmart. Lindt chocolate 8.99! I had picked up a box of tea that was marked 1.99. They wouldnt sell it to me because it was mismarked. They said it was supposed to be 3.99. They said Id have to pay 3.99 if I wanted it. I reminded them about Michigans price law that if its marked that price They have to sell it.. The clerk said no my manager wants me to bring it back to get repriced.

If you like to save money on food. If you are looking for something different than you normally would find at your grocery store this place is a real jewel!!!!

If youre driving with somebody dont forget your ID with your credit card you cannot purchase its just an FYI 40 minute drive me to big mistake to not remember ID no food for me

This store is something else all together! If you dont mind digging you can find some awesome deals! I couldnt believe the stuff I saved on. Some is expired by a year but if you can afford to take a chance go for it. However I got some Duncan mug cakes the smores kind that expired in August of 2018 and it was March 2019 they were no good but I only paid just over a dollar when they are regular 2.50 I will need to be careful with dates. Big selection of cereal and granola bars. Kraft Mac and cheese half price. sunblock is expensive at all stores but here! Unbelievable I just found out it existed this year too. Will be coming back for more.

This is a discount food store so you really need to watch the dates of anything you buy. Most of the deals are good, but some of the things I can buy at Save-A-Lot for cheaper, so watch out for pricing also. That being said you can get some really good deals on food if you know what you are doing. For instance today I walked out with over a cart of food and only paid $100 for it and this included buying things like meat also. This is enough to last me for over a month for groceries.

Your purchases wont be fresh but if you dont mind expired food its a great value. Most of the boxed food may be taped up so just be careful that the safety seal is in tact or bag or box not broken.They do advertise 100 % satisfaction with the ability to return what your not satisfied with.

Ive been going to blue knight my whole life I remember how bad it used to be..I literally remember seeing a cockroach on the wall....but it has really improved over the years. We go all the time for all kinds of stuff.killer deals and can find some very rare and interesting things...last time I went I was like ok.nothing expired comes home with us because we already had some stuff at home that needed to be used up.so checking every date I was shock nothing expired til 2019 and 2020. its a really cool helpful place

I love going here,you can get a large variety of food products for way under what you would pay in a grocery store. They also have cleaning products and vitamin s. I go each month to pick up things. Oh and the biggest surprise was they had it of gluten food

If youre on a budget then this is a great store for groceries and personal items. Just have to watch the expired food. But I personally have been going there for years and never had a problem.

This is a great place to stock up on your munchies for work. You always have to be careful to watch the dates as some can be too far out dated. Staff is very nice.

Im not a terribly picky person but some items have me sketched out. (Think mayo and meats) Otherwise there are other items that are perfectly viable and safe to eat. Im weary of buying things that might have questionable food safety rather than things that might lack quality. Stale crackers is one thing but tainted meat is another. (Not saying that there is any thing like that going on here, just stating that I am personally weary of that.) They do have a guarantee that anything they sell is wholesome and good to eat so there is that if you purchase something and it winds up being no good. Some of the staff can be snarky. I actually had one of the ladies rip a box out of my hands and yell at me I cant let you have that! when I was trying to help box/bag my items. Dont know if she was having an off day or what but thats not the way to treat customers. I still shop there regularly.

Most of their food is priced really fair some you can go to the regular store and get same thing cheaper or same price. Just watch prices and dates. The people here are very nice!! Store is clean and shelves are clean.

Love Blue Knight. This is a salvage store and that makes prices really reasonable. They have many items and they are priced below grocery stores. They also carry fresh items like milk, eggs, cottage cheese, etc.A great place to stock up.

This is a good place to inexpensive groceries. You do have to be careful when buying bread to make sure it is ok. The canned goods although some may a few weeks past their expired date.

Great place to shop if your on a budget. You have to go their often because they get new products in all the time. I would keep the kids at not much room to chase them due to the amount of products.
