I thought Atlantic was quality. Owner is always on Barret Jackson buying and selling cars. But business is business and the bottom line always rules. Do yourself a favor and go to the sister outfit. Millineum.Workers are great. Customer service and caring about current customers is non existent. When your making money you forget about the little guy who gives it to you.
I’ve been going to this dealership for the past ten years and have always had a great experience. Two people must be recognized is Dennis in the service department as well as Lianne Dunne, the Customer Relations Manager. I brought my car to the dealership for an issue with a re-call. Lianne quickly wrote an email to corporate and assisted with handing the dilemma. I’ve been seeing Dennis since 2010. He’s honest, friendly, accommodating and ALWAYS follows up with me. Lianne could not have been more accommodating and I’m so thankful for her assistance. You would think that these two individuals own the dealership by the way they handle customers. They’re keepers and if management happens to check these reviews, I hope that Dennis and Lianne are both recognized for their outstanding customer service. Thank you, Lianne and Dennis. I know I’m always in good hands when I’m with you.Warm regards and stay safe during this pandemic.Patrick M. Sarubbi
I returned my recently purchased 2020 Malibu for a tire sensor diagnostic. Naturally I was expecting the worse however I was in and out within a ½ hour, the sensor had to undergo a learn trip...grateful for the immediate service🤝
BUYER BEWARE I was interested in a car at Atlantic Chevrolet Cadillac,First off the bat they took a 500.00 deposit from meUpon reviewing I thought about it and decided against the purchase. I have called to get my deposit back numerous times and have gotten the run around ever since! It’s been over 20 emails and numerous phone calls since 6/4/2020 and I still have not received my deposit back 7/15/2020.
Dennis always takes great care in service
First hand from my brothers experience where he just bought the car and brought it back for a problem
Good service nice people good costumer service
It was okay. They fixed the problem but was over priced and had very poor company. Often said they would call me back and never did. Forgot to check some things I mentioned that were wrong and when I mentioned it he tried to convince me not I shouldnt even bother to check them because it was late at that time. So, not all the issues were resolved. They are average at best.
To the person that just purchased the Lexus 600HL From them advertised as no accidents they lied. They are horrible to do business with. Very dishonest. If you want the accident report or car fax get your n touch with me. Don’t go by those second rate imitation reports that they use.
The service is very badI came to get oil change of my Chevy TahoeThere was no Service advisor and after 10-20 min wait a man came and told me that we have no service advisor right now.Nobody told what going on with my car what it need and how much it will cost.A very bad experience and i will not come back here again
I did not have a great experience at Atlantic Chevy. The day of my test drive was fine. I came in looking for a Chevrolet Equinox that I saw on CarGuru. We test drove it, but it was too small for our family so we test drove a 2017 Chevy Traverse that we had also seen on CarGuru and loved it! Our sales associate was Paul Coppola. He told us the price for the car, which matched almost exactly the CarGuru price. We wanted to do a cash deal, but he said that price was only for financing so we decided to think about it. The next day, I reached out to him early in the morning via email with some follow up questions about the car. He tried to call me and I called him back a little while later. Pail then told me he was helping another client and would call me back. This was around 11:45 am. When I hadn’t heard from him by 3 pm, I called again and he told he was busy jumping around from one thing to another, but would get back to me. At 5:30 pm, I texted him and requested that, if he was too busy to help me, to please put me in touch with another sales associate. He replied that he had already invested time in me and would be in touch. At around 7:30 pm, Paul finally called me. At which point, I told him I wanted to buy the car, but had to do it the next day. We set up an appointment for 3 pm. I asked again about the pricing and was shocked when Paul told me that the price he had quoted me did not include $1995 down, $695 dealer fee and that an inclusive warranty for just one year would be an additional $999. I was so caught off guard that I didn’t say anything at the time, but later texted him that I was not willing to pay those extras and would have to cancel my appointment, if the original price he quoted could not be honored. He sent me the link to the dealer website and I sent him the link from CarGuru, where I had originally seen the car. He said that the dealership is not responsible for third party websites, even though he had originally quoted me almost that same exact price. After doing some extensive searching, I came upon the car advertised not only on CarGuru, but also CarFax and TrueCar for the price we were originally quoted with no mention of an additional almost $4000, stating that the warranty was included. I understand that these are “third party” websites, but the dealership contacted me after I went through them so they are at least connected in some way and should be monitored for accuracy. Hidden fees galore!
They are improving their customer services. More faster now. Thanks Atlantic Chevrolet!
They loose your car, do not answer the phone, sloppy business dealing. Do not trust this dealer.
I went with my mother to bring her Equonox for maintenance and to check the breaks because I knew the pads were getting worn. From past experience bringing my Cruz here I wanted to make sure they did not take advantage... of course they tried to. They said $270 for the front pads to be replaced and then went down to $200 telling her this is a great deal. Thankfully I was there to say no way. I called Mavis in bayshore and they gave me the price of $220 for front AND back everything included even warranty. I wouldnt trust Atlantic service as far as I can throw one of their cars. DO NOT GET ANYTHING UNLESS IT IS FREE SERVICE FROM A PURCHASED VEHICLE.
WORST ADVISOR EVER!Old nasty man, calls himself an advisor more like a wall between service dept and my vehicle, accusing me of not having a registration on my vehicle while it was right on the windshield! Old man probably 50 years in the business and making a rookie mistake instead of making accusations! BTW if your car stays overnight you are on your own, all car dealers provide a way of transportation but GMC! they love to charge you like BMW but the service is more like KIA! oh wait! You get better service at KIA ! Ask my aunt she even gets her nails done at KIA!
Was sent down to speak with a specific salesman who asked me to wait while he delivered a vehicle to someone. Was a half hour no big deal. Then he asked me to wait while he met with an appointment he had..he must have forgot he had one...I left. I will never go back. Gave them another chance after they robbed me of a spoiler on my g35 coupe at Atlantic Infiniti in lynbrook back in 2005. I should have expected what happened today to happen.
I’ve held off providing a review for Atlantic Chevrolet because it wouldn’t have been a good one. But it’s two years now and buyer beware. The sales process was pushy and shady. They tried to deliver a vehicle I’d said no to and they’d tried to get me to agree to. The service process is a hassle every time. They don’t have in the computer an agreement we made as to service and so we revisit that every time along a tone that is aggressive and defensive. What led me to finally post this is they took my vehicle for service, told me they’d call me, they didn’t. I then had to call and rush there before close. I then realized after three times filling the tires (which they didn’t do on the service) that for the tire rotation they didn’t switch the diagnostics on the tires. So the dash for the front tire gauge showed the actual pressure for the rear tires and vice versa. This place calls after every service and begs for a 5 star rating. The whole place and process is just a total hassle. We’ve already warned friends to stay away.
Its a great Chevy dealer. Bought 2 cars from there. Good staff, they work with you, The service is good too. Highly recommended.
Had a not so good experience at first dealing with the service Dept., the service manager got in Touch with me super fast and offered me a free oil change for my negative experience which turned it into a positive experience
Make sure you see Danielle Forchelli (Service advisor), she is awesome & professional!
I brought my car in a couple of weeks ago the shifter was not working properly. Of course the mechanic could not duplicate the problem and they told me there was nothing wrong. However I took the cost for a ride with the mechanic and miraculously there was the problem and it was repaired within a couple of hours. The one problem I have with their service department is it they lied to me about the reason they could not give me a loaner car. They blame Chevrolet for the problem I called Chevrolet and they pretty much told me that the deal was lying to me because it was no problem getting along cars apparently my problem was not a big enough problem for them to waste a lot of car on me to make a long story short I finally was given loaner car because they got tired of hearing me complain.
When I brought my traverse home 🏠 the auto start did not work and the “check engine” light 💡 was on. However, I called and drove back to Atlantic had the problem issue reversed.
Great dealership!
I have been obtaining vehicles from this dealership for years and they are great.
Good staff
They were charging me 150 dollars over price for new battery.. The service manager never called me back so that says the ahit service they have.. The service rep. Mark si completely a recist guy.. He insulted me and tried to make me feel inferior. I work for chevy.. And im shocked to all of these bad reviews and they dont care...
Stay away i brought my car there for a fuel pump recall got the car back with the gas gauge not working and the check engine light on for the fuel level sensor so i brought it back and they straight up lied and said it was not even near the fuel pump they just replaced total bs i cant even buy one seprate so now i need to pull out there fuel pump and replace it again myself what a waste of time
This dealer is a rip off. Stay far away from any of the dealerships. I leased a car and got the excessive wear insurance policy on it for $12 per month. They added it to my lease price. I made all of the payments. Had some wear to the interior and wanted to make a claim. Called them about ten times to find out how I make a claim and just got the run around. Filed a complaint with the NY State attorney general to get it resolved. Unfortunately they wont get it resolved until after my lease is up and I have to return the car. I dont recommend doing business with them. They are dishonest to say the least. Check their other reviews on yelp. Wished I had seen them before I walked in there.
They do what they say
I bought a ram for a god price
