One of the nicest big lots I have been to. The store is very clean, well stocked, well organized and spaced out in a way so you can actually shop comfortably without being on top of other people. The prices are always the best around and the staff is very friendly

Been going here since they opened. They use to be good but now, ugh. The shelves are mostly bare, no cart wipes, and they never have what a I need anymore. I usually get my cat food there. Not one can or bag. Every time I go. I dont ask because the workers dont know anything. I think I will be changing to Target.

I usually drive to Sayville even though this is 5 minutes from my house. But I had a coupon and wanted to just run in and out. The store is dirty and bare. The cashiers are rude. Literally no greeting no eye contact... Nothing. Oh and I am pretty sure that after 18 months of a PANDEMIC even a 4 year old knows to COVER YOUR MOUTH when coughing!! Sticky pin pad..just gross. Never again. It is worth the drive for me!!

I like this place, shop here often. Good furniture but watch out for the table sets they sell. Will scratch very easy, not well made at all. Also last time my wife and I shopped here, the cashier just started bagging our goods without asking if we wanted bags and charged us for the bags. I can say she had some attitude with us, like she just didnt want to be doing her job. Going to check out some of there other stores.

Workers are incompetent and ring up stuff twice since counter is tiny and messy, Manager Laurie wont refund my money unless I drive 32 miles roundtrip and waste gas and 1 hours time, its a heatwave today and im disabled. not the first time they screwed me up.

The prices are high, the cashier had a difficulty hearing because he had a ear phone in his ears. I ask for the price of a product and he was just rude in his response like he was annoyed.

Unique and fun things for your home, patio and pretty house items for windows, bath, kitchen. They have alot of dry cabinet items and alot of unique food items that may be tough to find, but great to enjoy. 💘😻💜this store! Grab a coat or toy for your pet too!

Lots of products for your home, as well as personal items. Most locations have a selection of grocery ( no ground meat or anything ) items, not as much as supermarkets but just enough to get by. Highly recommend signing up for their rewards program, free products, coupons and reward coupons via email.

I like a store that has its own credit card, and the items there are fairly priced. The one big concern is that there is never anymore than one register open.

Service attention and help was fast and good I was in and out quickly Bill was very knowledgeable so I got what I wanted paid he loaded my car and I was gone before the snow got heavy thid was my first time shopping at Big Lots and I am definitely going back.

This building was a former Toys R Us that has been completely remodeled and looks brand new. It is bright, sparkling clean and well staffed. The store is laid out for quick and easy shopping with nice wide isles. They have just about everything you might be looking for and prices are great. There is plenty of free parking, too. Awesome store.

Awful customer service...We purchased a gazebo two weeks ago.It is now on sale for $50 less than the price we paid for it.That is a lot of money, especially during this difficult pandemic time.Big Lots is not accepting returns during the pandemic, therefore, I requested a price adjustment and they refused.They being John, the manager, I dont have his full name, he refused to let us know his full name and he was terribly rude.With so many companies and people working to help each other these days (my husband is a critical worker in NYC), it is a shame that this manager at Big Lots refused to be helpful.We have been loyal customers of Big Lots for many years.We will think twice before purchasing from them again and will definitely not purchase from the Bay Shore store ever again.

Very impressed. The store was clean and they had a lot of interesting items for sale. Know your prices but keep an open mind. Snacks and teas and so forth seemed reasonable and they stock some foreign items I know are good like Dare cookies from Canada.

I like the layout of the store, better than most.

Good for school supplies, foods, toys, pet foods and much more, like a 5 & dime type store. I got curtains and rods on this visit! Reasonably priced!

Staff is friendly and prices are great! They even give 15% to healthcare workers.

Waited almost 20 minutes for a employee to help me. I went up to the manager 4 times and my mother went up to 2 different cashiers asking for help. Meanwhile one of the employees said that there wasn’t anyone in the store that could help us in what we needed help in. Not one of them came. There were no customers waiting on line to be rung up. The manager was just standing there doing nothing. Waited for 20 minutes for 2 guys that were in the backroom to come out to help. These employees are a joke and definitely do not belong in a customer service job.

Our cashier was great and big lots doesn’t deserve her! Manager is an idiot. Still don’t understand the difference between summer toys and pool toys. Don’t you play with them in the summer. And the sign is directly under the pool toys. So in stead of giving us the $2.00 he lost the entire sale food etc. and will never step foot in there again. And he was nasty to us and to the cashier in front of everyone. Wish I had gotten his name.

BIG LOTS!??? Great I LOVED IT!!! I couldnt stop shopping,prices were reasonable for the everyday items I need for my home,so low that a 16-20oz of organic HONEY WAS $5, RAISIN BRAND CRUNCH 24oz was$4.00,because the box was damaged marked down at counter, $1.75!!! I never really shipped there,just browsed around the furniture,but man,they really have nice stuff,Spring items i.e. lawn,decorative door ornaments,pillows,well the clearance pillows were pricey for no reason to be honest,cute but tooooo pricey $25 worth of to pricey. All in all my sister and I had a great time,just being together acting silly and laughing......at how much we ssssaaaved😉👍
