Great place for a quick tool if needed, great customer service . Fairly priced tools some are quality.

So I go into the store ask where the Generator are. They reply with they are here and here and for 30 minutes I stood by the Generator looking at the specs on my phone and no one said sir do you need help are you interested in a general. So I walked to the front of store where a manager is in the office of course on his personal phone stand by those generator and still nothing. So I said to the manager. I guess after a 30 minutes of trying to buy a generator you are not interested in selling one. So I walked out. O well. Waiting on your coustmers is how you get paid not with your fingers up your A&& or on a cellphone or looking at the clock wondering when I can go home. Hello wake up. Thanks CUPCAKE

I was at this location today and Im completely disappointed that I had to witness someone who walked in the store loaded up his shopping bag with some expensive items. Before he walked out of the store I told the employees that they have a guy about to walk out of the store with a shopping bag full of stolen item and they told me that they couldnt do anything about it they said this person comes in often as much as every other day and they cannot do anything about it from what they told me I dont understand this I get its a safety risk but why not at least call the cops its just very disappointed that this is allowed to happen and not have a hired security guard and or call local authorities when this happens. Its just mind-blowing and very disappointing knowing that the company is not doing anything about this especially they see him coming and they dont do anything just stop it theyre basically just saying come and grab a cart and load up and walk out what is happening with our country very sad. Also want to note that I waited online and paid for all items I was purchasing unlike that nut that is getting away with all of this.Shame on the company/store for allowing something like this to happen. Maybe the employees are in on this who knows. Im wondering if corporate is actually aware of whats going on at the store and perhaps other locations.

Usually my husband finds the tools he is looking for and prices are decent.

I was looking for a torque wrench that was on sale. There were no wrenches in the designated spot. I asked a floor attendant if they had any in stock. He checked the computer which told him there were wrenches in the store. He searched and found the wrench for me. Very happy with the service.

Inexpensive tools, need to know what your getting when you buy. You can do okay here if you know!

Very cool store great for cheap tools

Excellent place for lower priced tools, hardware and equipment. Ive personally bought three power tools for home use and havent had any problems. Also bought other items throughout the years from them, while not top of the line, still good enough for basic projects and stuff.

Perfect for tools that a homeowner will use once and a while. Definitely not commercial grade, but the price is right.

No a lot of these tools are not contractor grade, but then again most of us arent contractors. The tools you find in there will last a long time, if you take care of them. Even a Dewalt circular saw will fail and be a piece of cra...(well you know), if you abuse it.These are good tools at ok prices. The hidden gems are the disposables. Zip ties and ca glue, clamps and straps, ropes and tarps and canvas..oh my! Thats the stuff you can really make out on. Also, the staff, they are very helpful, and they actually know the products, another big win. You have nothing left to lose, try it.

Whats not to love about HF. Over the years quality has become very good. Prices are excellent. Remember not everything is high quality you have to do your homework before buying. Everything I bought so far has exceeded my expectations.

I called the store looking for 2 fans spoke with Dylan who I have met before in the commack store it couldnt have gone better he went and check to make sure he had what I was looking for got back on the phone with me told me he had both fans told him on my way he put them on the side for me and held them got there and relizrea had met him before and how much of a help to me he was then commack has a lot to learn from the Bay Shore store Huntington is also a good store they are helpful but I will only be going to Bay shore for now on

Great hardware store. You have to judge HF by what it offers at what price. Yes a DeWalt will last you longer and it has a better warranty, but for the same price you can buy 2 and sometimes 3 of the HF offered tools. For a homeowner with a small to medium size project Harbor Freight is outstanding. Things like screwdrivers, hammers, levels, pipes ranches, grinder blades, nitrile gloves, etc. I don’t even bother going to competitors, especially with their coupons. Other things I can’t even find anywhere else and especially for a lower price like Ammo Cans and 5 Gallons metal gas cans. HF has a place in the hardware business. Also, their employees are way nicer than the regular Orange store, let’s be honest.

This review is for the company in general. DO NOT purchase anything on line from these POS. Worst customer service I ever experienced and should be investigated by the AGs office.

The coupons are unmatched. Ive been a true believer of the name brand tools. I still am with certain tools. When Harbor Freight first started I swore I would never go there. Long story short through friends in every field Ive become a regular. Go check it out.

Good place with good buys. Have to watch out for some of their reconditioned tools. Some sale items can be on the cheap side too. Got one of their folding ladders and as soon as I started using it, a rivet on the leg let go and bent the leg of the ladder. Now I have to return it.

I used to love going in that store moseying around looking at all the cool stuff I buy a lot of trash pumps there because Im in the septic business then all of a sudden one day I go in there and they must have hired a new girl she short she has a mushroom looking haircut not like the owners daughter very polite and nice this girl walks up to me while Im looking at something and gives me the most artists and disrespectful remark she says are you stoned or drugged out while I am looking at something minding my own business it was the most unprofessional workmanship Ive ever came across in my entire life I cant believe you would have something like that working for you disgusting never go there again I will drive to Centereach mental illness that short people attend to get its something like Napoleon something Im not sure exactly what it is but Im sure she has it its when youre short and youre always pissed off at everybody I would be embarrassed to have this girl walking up and down my Isles talking to my customers if I own that store she would have to go right away

I went for the first time because it was there. You have to be a paid member to get the big orange sticker price. Otherwise you have to pay the small font price which is the price you pay for better quality in Home Depot.
