Our first time there. Food was good and service was prompt and friendly. Will definitely stop in again!
The Lighthouse is by far our favorite restaurant. The servers are friendly and make you feel at home, plus you get great food at a reasonable price. Breakfast is very good half got breakfast other half got lunch. 6 people total bill was 63.84 so I felt that was not bad at all.

Do not plan on going back. That was the most awkward and uncomfortable restaurant I have ever been to. The lady in the back was so disrespectful. She made sure to yell she did not like our order sorry we asked for things on the side.. then comes out front yelling at the 2 girls for our order because we ordered it wrong. You could tell they were so embarrassed. I felt so bad for the 2 servers. I honestly hope it was just 1 bad day for them and they dont deal with that daily. 😕
It was a very pleasant atmosphere and it made an impression on me that the menu had Turkey and veggie burgers along with most everyones favorite beef. But for some who do not eat beef or pork it gave us a good burger choice instead of grilled cheese or salad all the time. Thanks for remembering the others.
Every time I visit Rochester, I stop here. Today we had a large group that dined outside. The service was excellent despite the heat and the food was excellent with generous servings. My elderly mother eats there often and they take excellent care of her.

This place lacks nothing in lighthouse decor. The food is comfort food. Ample serving sizes. I had a bacon cheese burger and it came with about 10 slices of bacon on it. I ate grandmas peach pie and it was wonderful!

This is one of the best,if not the best, unknown restaurants in the Springfield area! Food is what mama and grandma made! prices are so reasonable! all of staff are friendly and make you feel at home! and atmosphere though not the fanciest is an experience in itself with all the lighthouses and pictures! Thank you for showing us how Not to run a business. As someone who has been here multiple times before....I put in a to go order with a friend and was sitting outside with my puppy on a very hot day. Since I had joked back and forth with the owner before....I stuck my head in and just asked when she got a second if I could get a little plastic bowl of water. What I received was someone who threw her hands in the air and was extremely rude....saying how that wasnt her job to take care of my dog. Taken aback I said dont worry about it and yet she came out with a bowl and plopped it down and gave me nothing but attitude. I was shocked when she looked at me and said is there anything else I can do for you with an attitude I didnt deserve or was warranted. Id heard of others getting nothing but rudeness from this owner but never experienced it until today. They lost my business for life and its just plain sad in a small town in which I love supporting local that someone can be this rude to customers. So thanks for finally showing your true colors before I spent any of my hard earned money supporting you and your attitude.
Awesome food, a community meeting place and a very caring staff and family who own it. Get to the Lighthouse! Incredible fried chicken legs, macaroni and cheese and coleslaw. Walleye and BLT sandwiches are also delicious!

Great fried chicken and horsheshoes! We needed a place for a large group to eat on short notice and they were able to accommodate our party of 25. All our meals were served hot and prepared fresh. I recommend the horsheshoes, as the cheese sauce was excellent. Fried chicken and Mac and Cheese also ranked high on my list.
A hoot and a holler! Lighthouse theme is landmark for fun. Good old fashioned diner with hot coffee and a waitress that keeps it fresh. Standard breakfast fare plus local favorite horseshoes! Delish!
We went for breakfast this morning and it was delicious. They make their own sausage gravy. No canned stuff!

This is a great place to have brunch after hiking or biking the trail all the way from the IDOT parking lot at the east edge of Springfield. Its right along side the trail and you cant miss the giant red and white lighthouse in the parking lot.
