The only reason why I am giving it one star is because of my previous experience with a young lady there 3 weeks ago that was great. My second experience there wasnt so great. Andrew who states is the assistant store manager lacks empathy and has poor communication and interpersonal skills. He lacks professionalism and needs further training if he is to uphold his position as a manager. Please get him the proper training!
This place is a scam. Was told I get $800 in credit to phone for upgrading. They told me to call Verizon to do process. When I started the process they told me I only get $42 back in credit towards the phone lol. What a joke. Now Im stuck paying for a $1200 dollar phone. Avoid these type of business scams. Im definitely switching to sprint as soon as I can.
The ongoing pandemic has definitely taken a toll on a lot of businesses and public places since a consumer’s mindset to buy anything outside of essentials or to visit a public place like a park or beach, has crippled down significantly. Now by living with what has become the new normal, it is commendable on how these businesses and public places continue to remain open and cater to the general public by following the safety standards. It is now all the more important that we as customers, support these heroes during these dark hours to mankind.I was finally making a move from Xfinity and after a lot of thought, decided on Verizon Fios. This place was the closest for me to collect my Fios router and we locked it too. The age of internet makes things so simple that we set up the pick up to payment everything online and just had to show up at the store for pickup.The shop is among the many stores that the mall area offers and hence parking was not at all a problem. They had a good respect for the pandemic and strict rules to follow Social distancing and wearing masks inside the shop. We waited in the line and when our turn came up, gave my phone number and after verification, the service person brought our router and we were on our way out in no matter of time.PS - As far as the router, it has been a terrific purchase after a long battle of slowness issues we fought with Xfinity.
While I was there, the Sales Rep. James B. was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. He helped us find a great deal and went out of his way to explain everything to us. I have been to other Verizon locations, I will only go to this location from now on. While we were there, an extremely rude woman cut the line of 2 people behind us wanting to pay her bill, she refused to use the kiosk to pay. James was great at handling the situation and made sure all the customers were helped as quickly as possible. Thank you James for a great customer experience.
This is place is the worst and they are completely unprofessional. The employee behind the counter was texting the entire time when trying to “help”. We wanted to simply return a router as we decided to use our own, and he ended up disconnecting our entire service (even after we told him to make sure he did not do that). Maybe if the employee was paying attention and not texting, then this would not have happened. We both work from home and it will take 24 hours for Verizon to reconnect our internet. What an inconvenience and an unprofessional experience.
Absolutely terrible. The website says 8 PM and they close at 6. Ill give them a pass because not a lot of people use internet these to check store timings...we just walk to the front door, to look at a makeshift sticker (sarcasm). But fortunately for me I just reached before 6, 5:55PM to be precise. I tried the door ( after obviously reading the bright pink sign which says they close at 6PM). It was locked. So I called them immediately, and the representative at the store told me, I just walked to the door to close it...I was standing at the door, But they refused to take me in. I was just there to return the cable box, because I found a better alternative. Thank you Verizon Bayonne!
Friendly people here, could use a good upgrade in the system used to help customers for faster service. Should invent kiosk booths for returning equipment.
Do not go here!! I was told I was putting a down payment on my phone I purchased. And in reality months later I was informed there was never a down payment put down. The gentlemen used the money for some protection plan that I am sure he makes commission off of. I called to ask about it. And still they gave me a run around about where that money went. $120 gone. Do not trust this store or it’s employees.
I went to this Verizon location to return something; they opened promptly at 10:00 an and the gentleman helped me right away! He was very nice and helpful and took care of my return immediately! It was a very easy and pleasant transaction and I recommend this Verizon location! Thank you for your help!

Call CS night before to make sure they take in return of cable boxes, of course he said yes. I walked in today to return the boxes and was told they are not found it today come back Monday😡

Bad customer service bad attitude and very disappointing the associate quickly asked me glimpse after walking in while he is still helping a customer in front of him and seemed irritated with lashing eyes. Anyways make the story short im being rushed as a customer when i want to shop around and spend my money he definately missed an activation for the day since i was planning on activating a new number for a loved one. Here’s how this went today:Store: “Hello verizon”Me: “ Hi I’d like to talk about switching from Sprint to Verizon and pricing and phone details.”Store: “I’m sorry your gonna have to come in store we are too busy right now”Me: “Too busy to speak on the phone about setting up an account?”Store: “yes you can come in and speak to us in person”Click.Well, no, I’m not going to come in, in person during a pandemic. And with the least amount of professionalism I’ve ever heard over the phone, I’m not coming in at all. So thanks Verizon rep, whoever you are that answered my call, I saved $500. Sprints service may be terrible, but at least their customer service isn’t. Perhaps this location needs phone etiquette training?

Great service great staff. I love this store. I stopped in to exchange a box and mentioned to the store manager Wayne that the battery on my cell phone was not really holding a charge anymore. He went out of his way to look into my account to see what he could do for me and informed me that for just an additional 7 bucks he can get me into a brand new device. I didnt expect it to be that cheap. Verizon is the best. I would highly recommend this store. Theyre the best!

I cannot begin to explain how absolutely fantastic the staff is here. Everyone is so wonderful! I went in to activate a replacement phone and I was informed by a handsome young man named Wayne M. That if I want I can pay a small amount and I can upgrade to a newer phone which I was very interested in getting the s7. I really dont understand why no one over the phone ever mentioned that. Wayne was nice enough and patient enough to explain all the options I had before me. I also got a brand new Samsung tablet with my phone. I left with a phone, case, screen protector, tablet, and case for my tablet at a low low price. I left the store with the phone I really wanted and a smile on my face. This is a highly recommended establishment and I will be returning for my future needs

Excellent experience! Rich assisted me with returning my equipment under an old account and retrieving a router under my new account. No fault of Rich’s I had to call Fios and spend 2 hours on the phone for various issues while sitting in the store. In the end and after hearing Rich interact with many customers while I was there, he was very professional and clearly knew his job. I feel if Verizon gave Rich a little more leeway access wise I would have saved ALOT of time with people who simply did not know how to help me over the phone. He knew what I needed and was very limited to how he could assist me due to Verizon’s policy and procedure changes. Thanks Rich! The router is “blazing fast”!

Had an issue with my old phone. I called and spoke with a gentleman named Wayne to ask a few questions. He convinced me to come in and gave me a great new phone at a good price. He was very polite and knowledgeable. Also very patient. He also informed me I can get a new tablet
I recently visited the store to inquire about plans and devices. Eddie was so helpful and made recommendations that I was so impressed with. Staff were mean and not helpful, guy was talking to me rudely with a mean face. All i asked is to transfer to VeriZon my own phone number. He told me i have to get a new number and a lot of things.

I went in with a problem and Eddie took care of my needs immediately by greeting me at the door. I thought it was a joke! He gave me options not trying to force me to buy. Good place to drop off Verizon home products. Cell store is generic to others in city. Only difference is contract prices. This is the Verizon store we now use. Friendly staff. And we created a rapport with one so he knows our needs and wants.

I went to this Verizon store hoping to disconnect my internet service and return the modem. I was not disappointed. The employee took my equipment and closed my account and gave me a receipt.Thank you.I spent the better part of my day on the phone with two Verizon employees (I had to call back a 2nd time) who both disconnected?/hung up on me when I informed them the service I had was not a two-year contract (I have proof) and I do not have to pay an early termination fee.While this experience at this Bayonne store was very positive and I will definitely tell my friends to patronize this store. I hope for me this is the last communication I will have with Verizon.

Loved my experience in the store. I came in with a problem with my tablet because it wasnt working and found out not only was I eligible for a new one but I was paying too much money on my bill. I left with a brand new functioning tablet and a mobile Hotspot completely free with a lower bill! Thank you Wayne

Came in for a battery for my old phone that was not working properly and I was able to get a new phone and in addition a new device that I was not aware of. The Verizon HUM. Its this new nifty device that connects your car to your account. It offers free vehicle diagnostics, road side assistance and gps locator. Not to mention discount to some of your favorite places to shop. I love it

Go in and ask for RICHARD!!! My iphone had completely died and I lost all of my pictures/contacts. I was on vacation in CA and had gone to the apple store and two other verizon wireless locations, where they pretty much just shrugged and said, yeah, youre screwed. I wanted another iphone 5, which they dont sell, so asked in the CA store for something similar size, and was told theres nothing that size, and got me to buy a giant phone and bunch of accessories i didnt need. When I got back to Jersey, I went to the Bayonne store to exchange the phone and return all the extra stuff, and I got AMAZING service. Richard told me right away, yes we have the 6SE thats the same size as the 5, didnt try to upsell me a bunch of things, he even special ordered the one in the color I wanted. AND when I picked it up Richard saw I could get a better plan, so updated that, explained a bunch of things, AAAANNND figured out a way to retrieve my lost contact list!! I was given a great deal of time and attention - one of my best customer service experiences ever!
