Came to get my window repaired after someone broke in. The guys there were very kind and showed me the damage done to my door frame after removing the glass. They were very quick knowing I was staying there waiting. They even filled my windshield chip as a courtesy which was thoughtful considering how busy they were that day. Definitely recommend this location specifically, youll definitely be taken care of.

These guys rock. I showed up an hour early for my warranty appointment (they had to fix something that the Manhattan, KS store missed). Not only did the front desk guy come out to my car to say they could take us early. They completed it and had us out the door before our scheduled appointment time. I am sure if these guys did the work originally I would not have had to come back in. Top notch!!!! Amazing work and professionalism.

My glass Inshurance went through safelite to replace my windshield and said everything was covered. Two months later I’m billed $222 and safelite told me upon arrival everything was covered. I will never be using safelite autoglass and will let warn everyone about this place ! Don’t go here they will take your money.

The windshield replacement with the technician went great. The only issue I have is with you have clients come in and dont wear a mask yep and no one tells him to put me on . and everybody else inside the facility has a mask on. Would give it negative rating if possible. This is the worst safelite store for repair and attitude. Repaired my windscreen (crack was smaller than this) and they made it even worse. Assistant store manager and repair person - said too bad - go back to your insurance and we can refund them. You can then change you screen.

The staff was very friendly and the repair of the chip I had on my windshield went quickly and without issue.I was a little nervous because of the reviews but they explain the whole process with you and state that in some cases it may chip more due to the pressure they apply during the process. They explain all of this and make you sign stating you understand and agree.So if you are hesitant because of the past reviews I just want to let you know that in my experience they were professional and knowledgeable. Plus the repair was much quicker that I thought it would be, which was great.

Scheduled appointment and the glass wasnt even there. Rescheduled and the glass is not even the original. Found this out after driving off. Cheaper glass at a higher price! This should be explained to you before they start. Door lock reinstalled backwards(red now shows when locked). Exterior Glass not cleaned as promised! Safelite is quite a bit more expensive then other places. So, You should expect for a premium price, quality product and service. Save yourself some money folks. You can get Original Glass and better quality service at a cheaper price then Safelite. The other place probably wont promise you something they arent going to do. All I can say in favor of my experience is that the Staff was Very friendly.

2 much money

There was a huge mixup with my husbands replacement windshield due to a newer person helping me on the phone and setting up my appointment, but the person who helped me when I showed up for my appointment went above and beyond to make it right. They have also helped me way to many times with chips to my windshield and have always been so fast, efficient and nice. I will say the office was pretty chilly, so if you plan to wait for your vehicle, you might bring a coat just in case.

I pass by the Baytown location several times a week so it was a no brainer to call them for replacing my truck windshield. I specifically called this location and apparently it rolls over to a call center. Listening to a looping recording for 21 minutes, I finally spoke with a live person and explained my situation. The quote was for over $500 and wouldn’t be able to get it done for over a week. Yeah, they’re busy at that location. I checked around and found two other glass companies without waiting time and several hundred dollars cheaper. And, the new windshield had the Ford emblem on it without paying extra.

John was very polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. I was surprised at how fast he was able to redo all my stickers and accessories tied into my windshield. When he was done it looked just like my old windshield but with new glass. Truly amazing!

Had the mobile unit replace my windshield, the tech did not put the molding back in right. I took it to their shop the same day. A guy looked at it and pushed it into place, gave me a roll of tape and said if it happens again bring it back. I was back the next day and was told I would have to wait 2 weeks or go to another location. I agreed to go to another location but they couldnt do it for 2 more days. Finally I pick my car back up and they used the same damaged molding. It is split on one corner from not being installed properly on the 1st replacement. They just glued it together. They also left clips on the headliner inside the car. I picked safelite because of their reputation for good work but I was disappointed with my experience.Good thing is the windshield did not leak after days of heavy rain.My delema stated with the deer park location and ended in Baytown.

A technician did a very poor job repairing a ding on my windshield. The texture of the repair was very rough and the repair looked incomplete. I showed it to a different tech at the same location and he said that the job was not done properly. It started to crack by the time I got home. I showed it to someone else who said the work was not done right. I went back the next day to talk to the manager. She would not admit that the job was done incorrectly. She blamed the cracks on the nature of the ding itself, that sometimes they will still crack even if they are filled with epoxy. We will never know if this is the case since the job was not done properly. Their policy is to replace the windshield if the ding still cracks after they repair it. You get charged for the new windshield less the money already paid to repair the ding. So my first impression was that they are running a scam here. I shouldnt have to buy a new windshield because of a ding that should have been easily repaired! I could have done a better job myself with a kit! I definitely will not be doing business with Safelite again.

This is the second time I have used Safelite to replace a broken windshield, and both times have been wonderful. I took my vehicle into their shop, and everyone was very friendly and professional. They started my vehicle right at appointment time, and about an hour later- I was driving away a very happy and satisfied customer! Also, they quote you the total cost of repair BEFORE any work is done, and their work is guaranteed for a year. I would highly recommend Safelight to anyone!

We had a 3 rock chips in our windshield. Two were repaired, but poorly. The third was made worse during the repair process. The technician informed us that he made the crack bigger and to call him if it got worse. The issue is that he used the improper tool near the edge of the windshield which caused the problem to worsen.I called Safelite and they said theyd send someone out to take another look at it. The individual came out and basically agreed that the repair was faulty, but the only way to fix it under warranty is to replace the windshield.I would not recommend these folks. Because of a poor repair, we are now looking at having to replace the windshield. OUCH.

Service sucks

I first called a place on fountain view dr and quoted me 125 for window with tint and lifetime warranty I then called safelite which quoted me for 270 with the same thing I told the guy I spoke with I was quoted by a place for 125 with them doing the same thing and the guy only brought it down to 240 so unless if the price can come at least somewhat close to my first quote then I will be letting fountain view location put in my window

There was a big mix-up at the first when they gave me a bad estimate because of my insurance, so there was time wasted on a claim that didnt happen anyway. They were timely and the communication was strong; via email, text, and voice. However, they didnt clean up all of the broken glass in my vehicle. That was the part just as important as replacing glass because of my kids. I was depending on a professional for that task. There were still small shards of glass in my cloth seats after he left. Not good.

Scheduling an windshield repair appointment is like taking a chance on wasting your time.Theyve completed two jobs for me, both of them nothing spectacular (clearly the install techs are not perfectionists), leaving me less than satisfied, but the jobs were completed none-the-less.This last experience, I walked in on a Friday to personally schedule an appointment, got a date and time, and they didnt show up nor bother to answer the phone on the following Thursday.To make matters worse, they had no record of the appointment being scheduled and the lady that told be that was the exact same lady that I spoke to face-to-face to schedule my appoint. Theyve wasted at least six days of my time.BOTTOM LINE: THEY ARE UNRELIABLE AT THIS LOCATION.Very unprofessional. Im not taking anymore glass business to them.

Staff was friendly but thats the only good thing I have to say. Arrived on day of appointment and they had no idea I had an appointment, not did they have my glass. Had to take off work the next day to have it installed. Broken Glass, brown drippings, and gasket still in truck. No effort to clean up. Ez tag placed back in the wrong spot and just hanging off. My headliner was already hanging in one spot but now is much worse. That was the worst experience with Safelite I have ever had and I have been using Safelite for over 10 years in different areas. Good luck.

Had a windshield replaced at this location last Friday. Car was delivered to Safelite with no scratches in the roof and was retuned to me with scratches in the roof parallel with the windshield. Left the manager a voicemail which was not returned. Its a shame...since I work across the street this business really is convenient and Id do alot more business there, but lack of customer service following damage to my vehicle is a real disappointment.

Terrible experience.. I went there coming 45 minute away. They had it done after 3 hours (change the windshield). I waited to talk to them about the EZ tag and they wouldnt come talk to me, so I left. When I arrived home, they called me saying they forgot to replace not only EZ tag, but the registration sticker. I will never use this place ever... This was purposeful
