This place was so fun! We came down to Pinecrest for our anniversary and decided to spontaneously stop in and make a couple candles. The process is fun and inviting! We made some pretty amazing candles with our own hand crafted scents while enjoying a nice orange beer. Our finished products are amazing, and the soy didn’t make my skin break out at all! I can’t wait to bring my girlfriends back to do bath mobs, diffusers and more candles for ‘girls days’!

Nice place! You get to pick your candle jar and up to 4 scents for your candle & it takes about an hour for it to dry and take home.I give it 4 stars because I had a reservation and no one confirmed it, and the worker didnt explain the process so I had to ask a lot of questions.

This was an absolute amazing experience! A unique immersion into scent and personal care that is perfect for all sorts of occasions!

Despite having made reservations, we sadly didn’t even get to experience this place. My husband and I booked an appointment a week in advance. When we arrived we were told we couldn’t be accommodated as scheduled due to a large walk-in. We were offered an appointment 30 minutes later, but given our massage and dinner reservations could not stay to wait. We were really looking forward to a unique date, but unfortunately will not return.

I dont know what it is about this Pandemic but I would hope people could be kinder after losing my candle and giving me someone elses. There are better places that offer the same services for less less grief.EDIT: I changed my rating from a 1 to a 3 because my sister went over there and they let her make a new candle for me, I am not sure why the policy over the phone is different than in person. So thank you to whoever let her do that, I am much happier to be getting my candle now. If the owners read this, I hope there is a change in policy so the customer applies the label themselves to avoid this kind of mixup in the future. I looked through the reviews and saw one other post about a similar situation not too long ago, so it must happen more frequent than one would think

Good experience. My candle smells awesome. Hope it last a while as prices for candles are a little on the high end for me. I ended up paying over $30 for my candle. Tip not included. Tip is kind of advised or in your face as it comes up on the screen when u r paying.

It was great right up until they gave me the wrong candle. I came home with someone elses candle even though I gave her my last name. Now I have to return this candle to get my candle and I have to wait until Wednesday. When I called, the worker acted as if I handed myself the wrong candle. So check to make sure you get the candle you made before leaving.

My boyfriend and I celebrated Valentine’s Day & our 1 year anniversary here and we had a wonderful experience! The workers were all very helpful as we pondered what we wanted our candles to smell like, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. We had chocolates and wine as a part of a Valentine’s Day couples’ special and made two candles, one for each of us. We even got to create special labels for the candles that hold lots of meaning for us. Thank you, The Candle Studio, for making this such a memorable date night!

What a fun place! When you walk in you’re given a little clipboard and get to pick out your favorite scents from a wall of over 80 candles! Then you get to pick out your candle jar from lots of different cute options. Then you head to a seat & the staff helps you narrow down your fragrances and mix the right ratio of your scents together. While you’re mixing and pouring, you also can enjoy a glass of wine and chat with friends. The candle takes about 90 minutes to set, so we headed out for food & shopping in Pinecrest and stopped back to pick up our candles before heading home!Can’t recommend this place enough. Great for a girl’s night out or a group of friends. Can’t wait to go back!

My husband and I celebrated Valentines Day here in 2020. We just made more candles with friends and family. Both experiences were great! I may just end up with a house full of candles because its so fun! I like the wax melts product too.

Ive never been to a candle studio before, but I was thoroughly impressed with the set-up, service, and process at Candle Studio. Theres a wide array of candles that you can smell to get an idea of what scents youd like to mix. After choosing the scents that you like, you can pick out a candle holder, and then head to the bar where they help you mix the scents. Figuring out the right balance of the different scents was intimidating, but the staff was able to provide helpful tips and pointers.It takes about 90 minutes for the candle to set. Since its in Pinecrest, my friend and I had no problem filling that time with ice cream, boutiques, and exploring the area (theres a Shake Shack and an REI!). If youre still out in Pinecrest when its finished theyll bring it to you and you can also pick it up the next day if you have somewhere else to be.The finished products smelled great! Also, they serve wine and other beverages, so thats a definitely a plus. Ill definitely be back!P.S. I lit the candle today; its so cool and a little heart warming to sit back, reflect, and admire a candle that I had a hand in creating. I guess they werent kidding with the whole #scentedmemories theme :)

Surprised my wife and took her here as one of her BIRTHDAY presents. She absolutely Loves candles. She really enjoyed making her very own scented candles. We will indeed be back.

I brought my 5 year old son here on a whim. We were looking for something to do and a friend of mine recommended this place, so I figured why not? Im happy to say, my son and I had a blast! Theres a large selection of scents to choose from, as well as candle jars. The staff were all so friendly, helpful, and patient (especially with my excited, chatty child). The staff is absolutely amazing! The experience is fantastic. From picking your favorite scents to sitting down and figuring out which scents blend well together. Finally having your own scented candle that lasts awhile. Will continue to come back and make/buy candles!

I was really excited to try this place, had reservations for 6:45, we were sat and half my table got drinks fairly quickly, yet the workers seems to ignore our table after that. We repeatedly asked for someone to come to us to start the candle making process, were told they would be over soon. We watched other parties come in and be helped without anyone attending to us. At 7:35 we had enough and left asking pay for our drinks and leave without a candle.

The experience was fun overall, but I’m having a hard time burning the candle for any length of time. The glass turns black and it starts to smoke. I just blew this one out and you can see the black glass. Kind of disappointing for a rather pricy candle.

Loved doing something different and candles!

I’ve been here about 3 times already I’m planning a forth trip with my friends !! It’s great for everyone ! Date night, girls night, birthday you name it !! I always recommend this if you need to make quick nice plans for someone !

My mom and I went to The Candle Studio on Mothers Day this past year. We kinda figured they would be busy on that day, and they definitely were (great minds were all thinking alike) but we were still greeted with a friendly welcome as soon as we entered the building. Though there was a lot going on, the staff members still made sure to check in with us and answer the various questions we had (it was our first time.) They were friendly, informative, and made the process very smooth for us. We couldnt help but smell almost all the scents (there were so many to choose from) to make sure we selected the best mixes.We had such a great time! We loved the courteous staff, refreshing space, and the bonding experience that building our candles together turned into! We cant wait to go back!

I took my staff to the Candle Studio for a team building night. It was a huge hit! The service was outstanding. Steve made everything super easy to plan. He took time to explain how everything would work and made sure everyone was having a good time. His team helped all of us narrow down our favorite scents so we would be going home with the perfect candle. I highly recommend the Candle Studio!

The Candle Studio was such a great experience! Spend a Saturday there with my sisters and aunts. We loved smelling all the scents and then picking and pouring our own candles! I also made a body mist/ room spray that is awesome! Also enjoyed sipping a beverage as we poured!

Great place for a small meet up, date night, or just a Sunday out! Met up with an old friend there and it gave us something fun to do instead of the usual meet up for a drink. Though we did have a lovely glass of wine while we made our candles! The staff is so helpful, I’m convinced they have magical noses to help you pick just the right combinations of scents! The owners are local and are amazing!

I LOVE The Candle Studio! My coworkers and I needed a ladies night out and it was the perfect spot to get creative and have a drink together! It was such a neat experience to discover which scents I liked most and then learn from their friendly staff which options would go well together. I created a custom blend - Mug & Brush, Christmas Ale, and Pine (makes for a great Christmas-time/sexy-man smell) - and gave my candle to my sister for her birthday. She was obsessed with it and couldnt stop telling me how good it made her apartment smell. Did I mention the owners are the sweetest couple ever?! Cant wait to go back again!

The Candle Studio was awesome! The staff was super knowledgeable, friendly, and patient with our group of 6! The only suggestions would be a more diverse selection of jars because I found myself wishing for some of the colors in a larger jar. Also, the option of add ins (Glitter, coloring for the wax etc) would be neat.We will for sure be back and thank you again for having us!

Great place for a date night. I actually enjoyed making my candle. The owner chatted with us and we were really impressed! Great idea.. Good people! Loved that there was so much to do in walking distance while we waited for our candle to be ready. Well be back!

Fun experience for any occasion! I’ve been a handful of times for date nights and girls’ days and never had a poor experience. The staff is helpful and friendly, the prices are reasonable, the drink menu is great, and shopping around Pinecrest while waiting for our candles to set is super fun. Plus the candles I’ve made there are easily the best smelling and longest lasting candles I’ve ever purchased. 100% would recommend!

Went here for a mean girls party on October 3rd and they played the movie while we made candles. They have a wide scent selection to choose from and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Neat place to check out if you like to make candles!

Me and my girlfriends came in 12/7/2018. We enjoyed ourselves. One of friends was here birthday. Staff told us that she can pick out something for birthday. Since our candles wasnt ready before they closed for the night. We decided to pick up our candles on Saturday 12/8. One of friends went to pick up our candles. She mentioned to one of the staff that they dont give a special birthday gift to a birthday guest. Candle Studio needs to offer something like. Im not happy. Everyone work there looking with a blank face. There is no way we can make up something like that, if it was not told to us in the first place.

What an asset to Pinecrest and Cleveland! Love stopping in with my wife to make a candle before we go out to dinner. Talk about the perfect date night! My personal favorite fragrance is the Rosemary Mint. As a frequent customer, I highly recommend this place!

Stopped in for a quick visit. My son made a candle with on of the owners. Its a nice place and a cool idea. Place was super clean and of course it smelled good. Will definitely return.

Super fun experience with a group here yesterday. The staff is helpful and friendly. A little pricey, but you’re paying for the experience, too!

The overall experience was ok. Our host (for a reserved party of 10) was less than friendly, leaving a few questions unanswered and towards the end of our visit, she dismissed us altogether for newly arriving party, leaving us lost as to what we needed to do next! The host alone would be to reason I wouldn’t return!

I went to visit this store with my cousin and was not greeted or spoken to at all by the staff. Not very welcoming. The store was not even busy! We were the only customers in the store and nobody spoke one word or acknowledged us. Not even a hello.... I will not be returning
