I stopped by the day, to check out, The Leaf in Beacon, NY. They have a nicely organize small store. The friendly staff answered my questions about the products they carried. I purchased some Delta-8 THC Hawaiian Haze and a bottle of Delta 8. Both products were reasonable in price. I highly recommend this store.

Update: I emailed them and havent had a response in a week. Ill update this again if I ever get to see the full CoAs they claim to have.An important comment regarding Delta8 hemp flower. Delta8 flower is most commonly made by dissolving D8 distillate into a solvent and sprayed onto hemp flowers. These solvents do not fully evaporate so some remains in the product. The lab analysis provided by The Leaf shows that residual solvents were NOT tested so we do not know if or what solvents were used and how much is in the flower. A safer bet may be the moon rocks which are hemp flower typically dipped in D8 distillate, rather than sprayed using solvents. You could buy the moonrocks and mix it with their regular hemp flower to get the same results without the risk. Perhaps The Leaf can reply if Ive made a mistake or to clarify their process and why they havent tested flower for residual solvents. They should at least provide a full laboratory analysis for consumables, which would test for residual solvents, pesticides, and heavy metals, not just cannabinoid profiles.

We loved everything our visit to beacons the leaf. The employee working was super helpful and kind. Love the amount of available information on all the products that helped us make a decision on what was right for us. Favorites were the hemp lotion, tattoo cream, the tea and elektra brand.

Cute boutique out of the way but still on the main drag of Beacon. The girl that was super helpful when I went there to buy some balm for my mom. I got the day and night gummies for my partner and I. The night ones worked, the day ones didnt. I guess it depends on the product. My mom loved the balm, helps with her knee pain.

I visited this spot in person by taking a 2 hour detour for a friend because she wanted the oil and herb for sleep. They seemed nice and responsive in person. I ordered the topical salve for pain. I broke out badly. Could be my skin or the product. Emailed them twice advising I could not use to due allergic reaction breakout and wanted to see if I could get a refund or work something else out and they didn’t respond. Now I just have a canister of poison ivy (for my skin), ongoing pain, and out money.

I always enjoy shopping here. The staff is always helpful.Even in the midst of a pandemic they have gone above and beyond to fill my orders.Always courteous.

Love this shop! I’ve lived out West for a few years and when returning to the Hudson Valley I was so happy to find a shop selling such amazing product with such knowledgeable staff. This is such a wonderful CBD store...actually the nicest Ive been to. Such quality products and a whole amazing variety of CBD stuff...like everything we needed and more. Stacey is also the best! So knowledgable and friendly...she made it such a great experience helping us with selecting the right products.

Learned the benefits of cannabis and hemp products from an extremely knowledgeable owner and staff. Purchased jellies with hemp extracts which helps with pain and anxiety to name just 2 benefits. Ad well as a cleansing bar for my pitbulls itchy feet.

I was very impressed with the knowledge of the owner at this store, but the issue is with her product, not her knowledge. I learned many things from her and all the fancy pictures she has describing the molecular structures and such. Its the best place I have visited to learn, and I have searched out this product from as far south as S.C., and as far West as Kansas City Mo. When I visited the Leaf Store in Beacon N.Y., I asked her to send me a copy of her chemical analysis of the product Formula 1 hemp extract, when I didnt receive it, I called on another day and asked again. She apologized and said she was busy setting up a show for that weekend, but would be sure to send it to me. I then began my testing of her product. I had a 250mg Broad Spectrum product I bought in S.C., Broad spectrum has no THC, hence its an inferior product to any one that is FULL Spectrum, at least it should be. I bought The Leaf Formula 1 Full Spectrum product. I found that to get the same pain relief I had to use 1.5 times the amount of The Leaf, than the product I purchased in S.C. This made no sence until I realized one thing. The S.C. product base carrier is Hemp Oil, The Leaf product base carrier is MCT oil which is normaly extracted from coconut oil. It can be bought for less than $20 for a 16 ounce container! I took one drop of The Leaf & put it in a glass of water, and one drop of the product from S.C. in another glass of water. In minutes the S.C. product dissipated over the water. The Leaf product stayed in a small dot even an hour later. The point is two fold, 1., your being charged an exorbitant sum for mainly an inexpensive MCT oil. 2. The oil will not dissipate and therefore holding it under your tounge forever isnt going to get the pain relieving properties into your blood stream. As you ingest it Im sure it will help some but not as much as a hemp seed oil based product. I have found several manufacturers of this type product, each I have purchased uses hemp seed oil as the carrier. I can only hope this post will get the owner to switch to hemp seed oil as a carrier, and I am shocked that someone with so much knowledge about this decided to go with MCT oil, its right on the label. She even told me they raise the hemp right here in NY, I believe she said in Milton. As for me referring to the other oil as South Carolina oil, its simply because I dont want to have anyone think I am a competitor. I am only a user of this product, I am disabled and in constant pain & do not want to be on commercial pain killers with all the side effects. I have used this Leaf product, one from S.C. as stated and one I just got from NV by mail order which is hemp seed oil based also and so far seems to be of the highest quality. The product from NV gives more information on each bottle than the others, including a Lot number, they also put an Expiration Date on it, something non of the others have done. I truly hope this helps others, as it is horrible to be in constant pain. I do not enjoy posting low star posts either, as you can see from my google account. I look forward to the owners comments.
