So far theyve had anything Ive gone looking for. I also use the UPS service on a regular basis.

I have made a few purchases from here and I think they do a good job. Most recently I went to them to get some boards for a project that Im working on. They didnt have the size I needed but were thoughtful enough to come up with a solution. I ended up getting a larger size which they cut down to what I needed. I would be comfortable recommending them to others.

The one and only place in Beatrice and Southeast Nebraska where I would go to for anything related to crafts, DIY projects, and construction. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and they are always waiting to answer your questions with a smile. Would recommend in a heartbeat and I am blessed to have a Mead Lumber where I live.

Friendly and helpful lumber/hardware store.

Mead Lumber is my first (and often only) stop in town for DIY projects, renovation materials, and small fix-it tools and supplies. Everyone is usually very friendly, and in the rare instance they dont have a particular item or tool in stock, they can quickly order it or direct to someone else (even a local competitor) who may carry it. In particular, Chad in outside sales is encyclopedic about product information. He is helpful and reliable about project orders and materials/supplies lists and makes sure everything needed is put together for the order correctly. Everyone knows that renovations or construction projects are a hassle and there are usually headaches involved. Chad handling the supplies and materials needed for the job takes care of at least a few of them!
