Filled coffee too full and it spilled all over plus I asked for cream and they hardly put any in and coffee tasted watered down.. feel like place has gone downhill lately.. never get order right.. I asked for brewed coffee and tried to charge me double for “latte” that I never even mentioned.. sometimes have to wait 10 minutes.. it used to be super fast and good.. 😥

They made semi decent coffee. Not bad for a place located in the greater Dayton area, or even located in Ohio for that matter. I will probably go back when I am in that area again. I will always support a nice local place instead of going to that place based in Seattle that even people living near Seattle hate.

Their drinks are really good! We had the steamers and they was so delicious and put me in the mood for Autumn!

I have been a customer for years and generally love their coffee but recently I have a complaint about staff. The new hires (I assume since I’ve never seen them before) are making a practice of putting me on the spot about a tip. I feel obligated to give them one and even more generously than I would normally because they are holding the screen out of my reach and looking expectantly while loudly asking me to add a tip. It’s uncomfortable to be pressured and I’m considering no longer going to this location because of it. Worse still, they mess up my coffee about half the time. So after guilting me into giving them an overly generous tip, they still can’t be bothered to get my coffee right.

We love this place so much and go here all the time. This coffee shop is usually our first choice over other places. We always have the greatest things to say about the staff and the drinks until today. We clearly annoyed one of the staff who I think might have been a manager since the girl at the drive through asked them for their code to change my order. This person made it very well known in front of us, that we upset them by their physical and verbal reaction. We spend a lot of money here and on this particular day we spent $25.00 on coffees only to be a bother. I understand getting stressed about things in customer service because I work in this area but if you could please tell your staff to react where the customers cannot see them, that would be much appreciated. Very unprofessional and I dont think this represents Winans very well. The two staff members who took our order and money were wonderful and the drinks were fabulous as always!!!

Store wqs clean sales people nice BUT they are not sure what they want to be. The DVD section is almost gone, The computer sections are small. Looks like they are pushing TVs and Home appliances now...

We went here for coffee around 5pm. They had made coffee hours before, so when they served it to us, it was tepid. I had ordered a single origin Guatemalan coffee, which supposedly they dont brew anymore after 3pm, so when they served it to me, it was lukewarm. So I asked for a different coffee, which was just as lukewarm. So then they apologized and gave me an espresso instead; I really appreciated the gesture, however, the espresso wasnt too impressive. All together, somewhat disappointed with the coffee. But they also have a wide selection of chocolates; we tried a couple, and did like them. Hopefully if we went there earlier in the day, well have better experience with the coffee.

I’ve been going to this Winans for the last 4 years faithfully. Something has changed in the last year or so and I’m sad to say today will be my last time visiting this location. My extra hot latte was luke warm at best and doesn’t taste like it is supposed to. I get the same thing every single time for myself. This is the 3rd time recently that I’ve left disappointed. Not sure what changed but I’m done supporting this location.

Nice and cozy Winans coffee place... as usually I liked their coffee in every coffee chain of Winans... I ordered a Milky Way hot coffee and it was warm and nice... perfect for the cold weather here... also I tried their buckeyes chocolates for the first time and they were delicious... you definitely need to taste them... great service as they are so kind and helpful...

Amazing, delicious coffee! Very friendly staff! They have oat milk, which I love, and a really nice selection of seasonal lattes, etc. Very nice store with LOTS of unique candies and chocolate. I walked over from my hotel this morning and will definitely be getting coffee here for the duration of my stay in Dayton.

Don’t say you’re open until 9 if you’re going to be closed at 8:15. Google says 9, your own door says 9. Come on.

Today in all the rain and dreariness I stopped in bought myself 6 pieces of outstanding chocolate from the nicest employee & had a little chocolate party in my car! I recommend this type of little party 🎈 for everyone!

This has become my go to for chocolates when I am in town on business. The baristas are on their game. Professional and friendly. I dont drink coffee, but just watched them do their thing, while waiting on my chocolate order.

It was my birthday so I decided to treat myself. I didnt tell her, but got the perfect thing!!! And a pup cup 💝

Coffee is high quality, flavored coffees are unique and theres always a new flavor to try! A wide selection of flavors to make lattes with, so thats always fun 👍🏽 And who can say no to wine and chocolates, lol! Overall, I definitely recommend Winans to anyone who wants a great coffee!

I absolutely adore their coffee. They also have some of the best Autumn drinks Ive ever had. Their baristas are always super friendly as well.I also love that theyve put a sign up on their drive thru window saying that they wont serve you if you dont have a mask on. Not many drive thru places are doing that. Its so important to stop the spread of COVID right now and Winans of Beavercreek is doing their part in slowing the spread!

Do yourself a solid and try the Highlander Grogg latte. I prefer it iced, and it slaps. Their homemade honey buns are to die for, too.

I locked my keys out of my car in their parking lot and they were kind enough to give me a hot chocolate very sweet people and very good hot chocolate thank you so much

Good coffee. Good chocolate. Good service. (Also, they make a pretty decent milkshake.) The sitting area is good for informal meetings or to use as a mobile office.

I wanted some local coffee to send as a Christmas gift and many people suggested I come here. Ive been to another location and tried some of their chocolates. So I figured I could try this location to get coffee and a treat for myself!I visited just before noon on a Monday in early December. I had no problem finding a close parking spot and there were only a couple other people in the store. They had plenty of space to themselves to enjoy their coffee and read or get work done. I would love to come back on a day without the kiddos and meet a friend!There was only one guy working and he was quite busy with the drive-through. But that gave me the time I needed to look through their selection and make some decisions. I got the Pecan Creme Brûlée Coffee ($15). For truffles, I knew I needed the Bavarian Mint, cookie dough and the Highlander Coffee. I also noticed a peanut butter cup crunch, so I had to give that one a try! I cant wait to indulge!!

Quiet place with great coffee and chocolates, plus plenty of seats for all who want to work with their laptops. Prices are comparable with Starbucks.

I really love winans a lot but it’s been a couple times now I haven’t gotten my order right through the drive thru. Like today I asked for a frozen java jolt and ended up getting an Oreo frappe and by the time I realized I had already drove away. Maybe it’s just new people but something that’s happened to me twice in a row now on different days. But I will say the quality of the drinks are always great!*changed to 5 stars because management handled this issue great and have had no issues since!

Went to the beavercreek location this morning and got an excellent vanilla cappuccino. Went back in the evening and ordered another one and was told that I couldnt get a flavored cappuccino because it was made traditionally. So I ordered a large cappuccino and got what was definitely a small one. When I asked about the difference in size and the fact that it couldnt be flavored the young woman at the window was pretty rude and told me the 4 inch tall cup that I was given was definitely a large. Sad that I wont be going back because of the poor service at night.

Poor management, the place has gone down hill since new managers hired at the beavercreek store. Dinks never made right, all new staff that are a bit rude. I had gone here everyday for years so very disappointed.

Still one of my favorite local establishments. Every chocolate Ive tried has been fantastic. The dessert truffles truly are rich enough to satisfy. The coffee and tea are always hot and well brewed/steeped.

If you are looking for a slightly more upscale, less commercialized coffee experience, Winans is a good choice in Dayton. You can get drinks on the go -- via the drive up window -- or sit and chat with friends over your favourite brew.

This is definitely our favorite coffee shop in the area. We go on a semi regular basis and have yet to have any bad experiences. The staff is friendly, professional, and speedy. They have a drive thru option, making it great for the morning commute.Oh yeah.Try the raspberry mocha, you wont be disappointed.

Winans black coffee is smooth and luxurious. The staff is fast and friendly and its great to see a local company doing so well. The atmosphere is a little antiseptic, which helps for business meetings and independent study but it could do with more longue chairs and warmer decor for those looking to kick back. Never get tired of their coffee though.

Chocolate is WAY over priced for mediocre tasting confections. Coffee is better than Starbucks but I can buy and make my own at home that tastes just as good for half the price. The muffin I purchased was stale. Whatever happened to the good old fashioned coffee shops?

The coffee was some of the best Ive ever had. The chocolates were delicious, with the exception of the chocolate covered strawberries. Those were strawberry mush within a thick mass of chocolate. Everything else was fabulous.

I love Winans! Seriously, they have fantastic drinks and chocolates. They have just about any drink youd like from a gourmet coffee bar (and some different ones inspired by their chocolates) - their hot chocolate is awesome! But what I always think about is their chocolates. Do yourself and try their Wurtle (its their take on a turtle), either the delicious chocolate or the hot drink. The drive thru is handy and be sure to check them out at Easter time for some truly unusual items for the basket.

Great coffee great chocolates and a friendly staff thats always willing to help answer questions as well as let you know whats seasonal flavors are available. I stop by there and buy coffee for the workers in my office every week which is turned a lot of them on to going to a winans. They also have really great selection of wine and on occasions do wine tasting. Please see your individual store for details on one of these events occur.

Been here several times either for coffee or chocolate. Recently picked up chocolate covered strawberries for Valentines Day. Was able to pre-order them and pick them up on the way home. Very easy and looked fantastic. Great coffee and chocolate. Good place for some delicious gifts such as chocolate covered wine bottles around the holidays.

Never had a bad coffee from here. Try a hazelnut and raspberry latte. They have me hooked on that flavor combo!

The best Winans location there is. The staff makes the environment welcoming, and personal. I often walk in just to see them, and brighten my day...but they do have a drive through. This location also features wine, a specialty bar, and tasting nights.

Great coffee but the staff is almost exclusively young females and our orders keep getting messed up over and over again. We ordered two coffees and spend 40 mins in line because she asked us to pull up and wait so she could make the correct coffees. What?!?!?! They need more knowledgable staff!!!!!!!!

There is plenty of sitting area as well as a bar. This small shop is quiet and is a good space for getting work done or to read a good book. The wonderful aroma alone is enough to make you feel relaxed and comforted.Winans takes care in selecting their coffee, wine, and chocolate to ensure that they are offering quality products. Their staff is well knowledged and you can expect quality for the price you pay.

I stop in for some chocolates today, peanut butter fudge. I love peanut butter.This tasted like nothing,no taste at all. Wheres the peanut butter!!!! I I want my money back, $12.00. They are going to refund me. So thats really good. Thank you.
