I took my 7-year-old here for a mother/son date and we had the best experience and a fun stuffy to remember it by! I LOVE this place! It is very much worth the price!

Found a place to sit and watch a stuffing of a unicorn. Little girl picked 2 different hearts for her two animals. Nice to see but too experience to buy.

I took me 3 grand daughters to stuff their fur friends I ordered on line. My 1st time to build a bear. My girl enjoyed their self. The ladies working that day just as sweet as they could be and help us get what all we needed and they made sure there was not to many people in the store and staying a safe distance from each other. I cant wait to take them again.

Always a good time for the kids. Something special about building your own bear and dressing them that our kids enjoy.

I loved it the employees were so nice and in character, they were very helpful. They were also excited that it is/was my birthday today. 10/10 i would go again and recommend to others.

Tried to go for my sons birthday. They had a sign that said cash only. The only ATM in the mall wasnt working. Thanks for making me look like a jerk for not being able to take my son for his 4th birthday.

I love this place. For me. My kids are adults. A wise man once said you cant sleep alone in a strange place. Go to Build a Bear. Do the heart ceremony. Your inner child will love it. It will expand your options on business trips. You dont Have to buckle your bear into the passenger seat when you go to the drive thru. But its funny.

We had not been to Build-A-Bear in many years but as we walked past we saw Pokemon. My son collects Eevees and this made his day and it came with a special edition card!We got inside and I wanted to build about 20 bears myself. Between Pokemon, Jurassic Park, MLP and Marvel I was shocked by the selection! They had a cool new station for downloading custom sounds for your build and you can even add your own voice. This would make an awesome gift for family members, especially those who live far away and would enjoy hearing I love you in their favorite persons voice 😉Service was fast and the associates were very friendly. I will be heading back for a bear to put the giant green Hulk hands on!

Fun, friendly environment. Covid precautions in place but still fun for the kids. Can be pricey but worth it for the smiles.

Very very slow service. I understand the distancing for covid but when you spend over an hour waiting just to fill your animal and there are only two, yes two, people in line ahead of you is very ridiculous. If the employees who were standing around doing NOTHING would have moved in to help perhaps the experience wouldnt have been so bad. Id like to see them stand in line with a 3 yr old with sensory issues and they (the employee) are in pain due to a disability for over an hour keeping said child calm. Perhaps if they knew what that is like they wouldnt let it happen to their customers 😡

Great service and very helpful..

Between my friend and I we spent over $300 today in this store. Tomorrow we intended on bringing two more children back to purchase two more stuffed animals with clothing. My son’s stuffed animal ($29) was placed in the box ($0.75) while we played / ate lunch. Once arriving to our vehicle he pulled his animal out of the box to discover a hole superior to the left thigh. We immediately turned back toward Build-A-Bear and they “fixed” the animal. They stated their policy was to attempt to repair the animal once and if they couldn’t they would refund the animal. The “repair / fix” of the animal is obvious that a hole was present and the manager refused to replace the animal. I am very displeased with the quality of products an animal which cost $29 (without clothing) isn’t even worth the quality to play with.

Team here is amazing! Daughters preschool class came & they were so upbeat & friendly. Came in tonight (thursday) in the middle of a snow storm where my 2 kids were the only customers in store & we were shown the same amount of energy and friendliness. Great group in there

Its very cool, I got my daughter a bear from hear and we could pick a heart and pick the sound it made. Its really cute and a great experience overall. I recommend going at least once a year.

Update: Matt and Clair(, Hopefully I spelled her name right) have been wonderful at fixing the issue. They both have understand my frustration. I appreciate them and fixing the issue.My family and I are big fans of build a bear. We make a big day out of going there. In store purchases have always been great. This past experience has been seriously doubting about going back. For a Fathers day gift we order my husband a stitch. I say order because even though it was advertised in the store it was online only (not a big deal, a little sad but definitely not a deal breaker. We understand a store cant carry everything.) The cashier informed us it was buy one get one for 10 dollars. We saw they had a Scooby-Doo. We were excited because I love Scooby. The cashier told us we would go get an email confirming our order, than an email when it was being processed, and a last one when it was sent out. I asked when should we be expect the first email. She said almost immediately however could take 24 -48 hours for the system to catch up and by the end of the next week your order will be shipped. Great! We swere excited. A week goes by and nothing. No email confirming our purchase. So we go back to the store. On the way I notice that my name was misspelled, not a big deal my last name is hard to spell. Accidents happen. I am greeted by the cashier that rang us out and explain the situation she said ok well let me check on your order. She took my name, phone number, and email and told me to give her about 10 mins but we could go about our shopping because there was other people trying to buy a furry friends and with Covid19 they could only allow so many people in the store. Which I totally get. So we went to other other store, an hour or so later with nothing answer,we went back to the store I was stopped at the door by a guy letting me know that they checked on everything and my order was good to go. I should have an email in the next day. They entered my email wrong the first time. Ok. Problem solved right? Well here it is another Week later and no email. So I called the 1800 number they have no RECORD of my purchase. And told to go back to the store. I called the store. And guess what? They never fixed my email in the system. Now I am being told could take 3 to 4 weeks before the order is even to be made. I am calling tomorrow to talk to the manager, cause when I called today there was no manager on duty. I was lied to from the get go about getting my order. This is very frustrating and disappointing.

Really cool, lot of fun options. Kids loved it! Pricy though. Each upgrade/accessory costs a fair bit, and they add up fast.

Build-a-Bear is having a special today where you pay your age for a bear but since the line is long they are sending people home!!! 😡😡😡😡 This is an all day event and I understand that one of the reasons is because they was forced to shut the line down because of fire safety but anyone that came here today to get a bear should get a voucher honoring this sale! Im going to wait for the line to be over with and if they still have bears left, they need to honor it or Ill make sure neither I or anyone I know shops there again! BS

Went there for the first time during the Christmas break. My Granddaughters really enjoyed showing me how the process works. We each already had one Bear so we were each creating our second. Then we spent a long time going through all the clothes and accessories. So much fun looking for just the right outfit. This is the end result!

A great place to stand in line for two hours because they have one person stuffing bears with three people on the cash registers.

Staff was super nice and helpful. Gave us the full build-a-bear experience whether than just treating us as adults.

The lady was so fun and energetic when helping my daughter build her new friend. She made it a wonderful experience that was completely personalized to my child.

We had a great experience when we visited to try out this new Birthday Bear program. Come in any time during your child’s birth month and you only pay their age. $2 was quite a deal! This covers just the bear, it’s stuffing (including the heart) and then a “bath”. They do encourage you to record a message on a little device they put in the Bear. This is extra! And obviously all the clothes and accessories are extra.While my little boy didn’t quite understand what we were doing at first, he absolutely loved pressing the pedal that makes the stuffing go into the Bear (because pressing buttons is fun!). The stuffing brought the Bear to life for my son, so he was excited to pick out a heart, give it a kiss, have me give it a kiss, too, and put it in the bear’s chest. Then it was bath time for the Bear (my son loved the scrubbing brush so much that I think he wanted to keep it lol).At the register I simply had to confirm my account. Easy! And affordable. We’ll probably do it again for the baby we’re expecting late this year!

Been taking my kids there since my oldest daughter was five years old she is now 22 and still goes with me with my youngest.

We stopped by here just to check out the store, there were kids everywhere, getting all types of bears made. This has got to be the best store in the mall for kids.

They should have been aware and prepared for the crowd on the pay your age day. I was looking forward to building a bear with my baby girl and now found out they are sending people away. To say they weren’t prepared for the crowd is bad planning

I dont want to drive 30 miles in 90 degree weather to find out what we are looking for isnt available, so I called.I figured, since they are open today, an employee would answer. The phone rings, and I hear an employee pick up, but they dont say anything. They just disconnect the call. I thought it was a mistake, but after trying 3 times, it is obvious they either are completely out of everything and are too scared to say so, or they have very poor customer service skills. I dont gamble, but Id bet money the answer is all of the above.

Although pricey, my girls love it here. We come here for birthdays and sometimes Christmas and they could get only these bears and be totally content. Helpful employees and always very clean.

Other lines were long right after Christmas, the staff moved children and adults along quickly but with courtesy. The stuffers and helpers considerate to the children and took their time with the young and old alike.it was a totally enjoyable experience, especially for the children, but also for the adults with them.

I went in looking for a Christmas exchange gift for a party, I’ve never been in Build a Bear before but I went in the first woman addressed me and was nice and showed me exactly what I was looking for but I realized she took the tags off the items I wanted to purchase so when I got upto the cashier I was like I’m sorry but can I have them with tags on them Incase they need to exchange the gifts for any reason, and the girl sighed really loud so I was already annoyed by this point. So I decided to go grab the item with a tag on it and the other girl came over and was like can I have that tag off of it, I said no I’d rather have it with the item that I PURCHASED.. I don’t know if they have a shortage of tags or whatever the reason may be but it was super unprofessional and they showed that I annoyed them, and I was respectful the whole entire time. I seriously just don’t understand why they decided to act this way. I understand that christmas time is really high stress season but there is absolutely no reason to get upset with a customer because they want the tags on the items they purchased.. it was ridiculous. If you do not like your job, please find a new one.

The COVID-19 restrictions only allow 15 people in the store at a time with only one person stuffing the animals. The buy one, get one for $10 is going on so they were pretty busy & there were customers in the store with 2, 3 & 4 children so I waited about a half an hour to get in to buy 2 little prestuffed Buddies. Im retired so I wasnt in any rush. When I left there were about 5 groups waiting to get in. The rules have to change with COVID-19 so you change too.

Pay your age day, total lack of planning! Line was literally 6 hours long and over. Total chaos and no one had a clue. Crying kids, unhappy parents, the other mall staff were all complaining about them. We left with nothing... Great concept, HORRIBLE executive
