Very happy customer. Needed a new glass door for my GE monogram microwave. Was a special order part every where I looked. Was looking like I was going to pay big bucks to wait 3 weeks to get my microwave fixed. With 2 kids this was not an option for me. Universal Appliance Parts had it in stock and I ordered online. I requested over night shipping to Canada by UPS and I had part at my door less then 24 hours after ordering and it was still cheaper then anywhere else even with the shipping. Very Happy!

Wanted to thank you guys for helping me out today. Ive ordered from you before and had a great experience then as well. We realized our dishwasher heating element wasnt working and after I troubleshot it you guys were able to get a control board the same day for a price that I couldnt beat anywhere else. Great way to get needed parts! Ordered a replacement glass top for our Kitchen Aid down draft cook top on a Tue, saved about $200 compared to Sears, plus no sales tax, it was drop shipped from factory, (exact original mfg part) delivered to TX by FedEx on Fri. Easy to order and great, friendly service. Wife and I installed ourselves in about an hour. Figure we saved about $400 considering do-it-ourselves. Sure glad these guys provide this parts resource - Keep it up!

Im glad I didnt read the bad reviews before ordering my parts. I did have to call to get the tracking e-mail. I thought heard some kids in the background probably a home based company. With that said my parts arrived on time. I also priced the parts with sears and a couple of other online stores and saved about $100. I would recommend this company.

Universal Appliance parts is really the best vendor for commonly used household appliances. Not only do they have most parts in stock, they are also able to get anything they do not have rather quickly. With my order despite having to wait for a couple of weeks for the order to arrive, the parts arrived and work out of the box. The customer service people were excellent and were able to help me promptly despite several issues with paypal.

20% RESTOCKING FEE FOR RETURNS!!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!Perhaps the worst shopping experience Ive ever had. When you come in people are on the phone and they seem annoyed you arrived. Then they get you what you want and because its a specialty store you are kind of at their mercy. That is until you think a second and after youve made your purchase you look up the same part online and find it for just over half of what youve just paid. When you go to return and then the guy you paid $47 for something he sold you for $76 he says well that is my cost nothing I can do and I have to charge you a 20% restocking fee. I was so upset but I just kept my cool and let him know I would write a review about the experience. The parts were untouched and in same condition I had purchased them and he hung them back on the shelf as I left. The 20% restocking was basically an slap in the face. I still saved money but seriously never ever ever shop here worst experience ever!

Never received merchandise but charged for the merchandise. Never received a notice of shipment. It has now been 3 weeks. Website is now down. They dont answer the phone and I have tried to call twice. I would not trust purchasing from this merchant.

I needed a replacement vent grille for my GE Microware. Called GE and they wanted to charge me $120 for it, which is highway robbery. So I started searching online. The prices varied widely. I finally found the part through Universal Appliance Parts for $62 (including shipping)!!! I went ahead and ordered it through this company. Then I said to myself, why are these guys so cheap? I started getting nervous and searched for reviews and found tons of terrible reviews on this site. So I was obviously concerned. But I will tell you that the part shipped almost immediately (ordered on the weekend and it shipped Monday), and I received the exact part I ordered brand new. Maybe I got lucky with these guys, but the experience couldnt be any less than perfect for me.

I called and asked for a part for my dishwasher this morning. I was told it would be there by 2:00. At 2:15 I came in and they seemed able to find my order documentation, but couldnt find the parts. They offered to re-order it and have it delivered to me. I made a trip across town for this part. I would try anyplace else first. (Such as A&P, two blocks away.)

Ordered two parts and only received one. It came in a reasonable amount of time but three weeks later and I still dont have the second part and their reply is always It will be shipping tomorrow...I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. Suggest you find someone else to buy parts from.

I purchased 2 replacement water filter cups for my Whirlpool Clothes Freshener. Universal Appliance Parts was priced well and the shipping was fast (just a few days without paying a rush fee).Heres the kicker...One of the cups arrived broken. These things happen and I wasnt all that concerned about it. I called and the gentleman that answered was quick to help and had a new product at my door in 3 days. Very impressive customer service.I will absolutely buy from this company again. Id even consider buying parts for appliances I dont own just to have the pleasure of working with them again.

Looked at a part that was listed as $10 online, called, was told it was $36 in store if i needed it today.on the one hand i can say its his business, he can do what he wants, on the other, i have no respect for price games and misleading price lists that are not what you can actually buy in person for. . really tempted to give this place 1 star but i see this as more of an awareness issue than i do an actual rip off etc. if you plan on buying here, call and make sure you get a total out the door price before you go in for whatever it is you need

Ordered a replacement vent a hood motor, part numbers matched up, however the original was variable speed & replacement was a multi-speed. contacted customer service about the issue & they refused to take the motor back so now i am stuck with a $150 motor that does me no good. careful what you ordered from this company. Horrible return policy when they sell a part that is not equivalent to the original & will not accept the return. i own a appliance repair company will never order anything from this company again.

Really slow shipping. They dont automatically email you a tracking number like any normal company would. They have selfishly small business hours. Even if you call during business hours they have an automated system that always says that they are busy and hangs u on you. Once it was accidentally answered because I hung up and called back too fast so to fix that they just put me on an indefinite hold that they never intended to resume. I only called because I wanted a tracking number... No one would call for a tracking number if it was automatically emailed to the customer. What a strange idea... I havent received the part yet but I wouldnt be surprised if it was wrong. Then I get to deal with their BS 20% restocking fee. Yay!

Sent a bent and poorly packaged oven panel. Customer service is sluggish, these type of badly managed businesses should decay soon. You may choose to shop here and your experience might be positive if you are lucky. God knows... Mine was horrible; please be informed, this is a company which is good until it takes your money. And there are lots of them in this country.

At first I got scared by negative reviews, then gave a try as the price was the lowest by far i could find. Apparently these guys come late to work or extremely busy in the morning, so dont bother calling them until 9. Guy over the phone was honest telling if i come to store (this is a local store to me) they have to charge retail price, so id better order online for almost a half of price. I placed my order on Monday, on Tuesday got a note it was shipped and received it on Wednesday. Wednesday night my dishwasher was completely functional and i saved 50 bucks on the part. Couldnt be better.

Recently ordered refrigerator gasket, it took about 2 weeks to get the product after paying $15 in shipping. The product was very low quality and did not even work. It will not even hold the refrigerator door in place for it was designed. This product was same part number as manufacturer recommended part number. Contacted customer service to request RMA and was quick to get that. Had to return the order and ended up paying two way shipping and 20% restocking fee. So for the product which was worth 55$, ended up loosing 60$ in shipping and restocking fee.

I was hesitant to order online from a company I didnt know, but our experience was excellent. We received an email confirmation almost immediately. We received the part in less than a week and installed it and now our dishwasher works perfectly. I couldnt be happier and would definitely recommend them and would order from them again. Horrible company. Took three weeks to get parts in a current production item. They never communicated with me that there was a problem and they cannot be trusted if you need a part in a timely fashion. Prices are great what good is price when the item does not come on time

I purchased a part that was probably not made in the US and lasted only a few months vs. the 10 yr originals. Warrantee only 90 days. They were quick to offer free replacement after 7 months even when out of warrantee date. Paid for shipping is all and received in a couple of days. Recommended.

Well, I wish I could write a review pertaining to my experience, but the only experience I had with this place is calling repeatedly for 45 minutes, at 11:00 on a Saturday morning, which is supposedly two hours after they open. Was hoping that someone might eventually answer the phone out of idle curiosity after letting it ring for 4 minutes strait, but all that happened was that someone picked up the phone and HUNG IT UP. Great customer service guys. I would rather buy a new dishwasher than give you one cent for the part I need. If you arent open on the weekends, which I find asinine in retail but whatever, then GET A VOICE MAIL OR CHANGE THE WEBSITES THAT POST YOUR HOURS.

Good price but it took almost 2 weeks to get a part that was in stock. When I opened the box the part was broke in 2 places and of course its after hours and a Friday. Moving out and need the part ASAP before I move. Ill write a follow up review after I talk to someone.

I went to Universal Appliance in search of a refrigerator part. I arrived 5 minutes before opening and the person at the counter scowled and mouthed we are not open. I waited patiently outside knowing I was early. After opening the door, I felt like I was in a hostile situation! No smiles, no good morning can I help you. I was armed with my part and part number, they looked it up did not have it and tried to charge me a price that was out of this world. I declined to purchase this from them. Went to AP Appliance around the corner and received great customer service and the part I needed for much less costly then Universal quoted. My place to shop will be AP Appliance.

Worst company ever! I called them previous to ordering and gave my appliance number was told the knobs I ordered were the correct ones. I paid expediting shipping to get these in a timely manner. They did NOT fit. Called the company again, complained and was told they did not have them and not sure who told me they did. I told them there customer service dept. I was told to return them and I would get a credit. Two months later not credit. I had to call again and was told a credit went in for merchandise minus 20% and no shipping refund! This is RIDICULOUS!!! If UNIVERSAL APPLIANCE did their job correctly I would have knobs and would not be doing such a bad review. Also put in a complaint with Pay pal!!!!!! DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

Please be aware of Universal Appliances unreasonable return policy. They will take your item back but will deduct 20% of the cost for the effort it takes them to put the returned item back on the shelf. Even though I ordered another, more expensive item to replace the one I returned, they still kept 20% of what is owed to me for themselves. I have never, ever experienced this before.

Baited/switched and lied to. Been a loyal customer for almost 20 years!!!! Very Disappointed. Lost this customer.Looked up price on Universal Appliance Parts WEB Page found the part at a reasonable price. Called to verify part availability. Drove from Vernonia Oregon. to Beverton Oregon 42 miles.When I got there they told me it was 3 times as much as it was listed on the WEB. I re-verified what I Saw on the WEB and when I went they said that was the WEB price is different. and when I showed them the WEB sight they said it was a different Store... Yet no other address is listed on the websiteIf they are willing to F U in the store right your face.Amazon Prime Had my part 1/3 the price and no shipping cost to be delivered next day. We like to shop local but when you get better service from a faceless storefront instead of people you are on a first name basis...a sad thing indeed.

If I could give no stars I would. Didnt even use the store itself, but near the hour of closing last week, my daughter parked in their practically empty lot to go across the street for a moment. All of the employees watched her exit her car - didnt say a word. She came back and her car had been towed. As the employees were leaving she asked if they had seen her CAR, very confused and nerve wracked, and they acted very sarcastic and rude to her, knowing full well THEY themselves had called the tow truck service. I would not ever recommend this place to any friends and family. Their business was closing/ closed and if thats the racket they pride themselves on, towing unsuspecting kids, then good luck to your sad sorry ass business- BTW your lot is FULL during your non business hours from the bar across the street - planning on towing them all too!???!

I ordered a membrane switch for my KitchenAid range. Universal Appliance Parts got it in the mail from Beaverton OR the day after I order it and it arrived seven calendar days later in Tampa FL. It was brand new, worked great and I paid at least $80 less than what I would have paid through Sears or other parts places. These folks did me right. Thank you Universal Appliance Parts!

Very FRUSTRATED. I went to the site and ordered a door for our microwave and selected 2nd day air shipping. The site made me provide my zip code, and the price quoted was about $45 for shipping. I get a voicemail the next day saying shipping will be $108. I try for two days to call the number they gave and got Sorry we are closed on 10 calls between 8:00 and 10:00 am Oregon time (their listed location) and finally got put in queue at noon on the third day only to wait about one minute before the nice recording came on that said, Were sorry, we are busy, cvall back later. GOODBYE! Not happy. The site should be able to compute shipping cost accurately with your zip, and the customer service absolutely SUCKS.

Ive been to Universal Appliance many times over the past few years. They are always helpful in finding the part I need, even recommending another dealer if they dont have the part. One time, they made several phone calls while I was there to try to find it. They are knowledgable and courteous. Ive come to appreciate them as we have managed rentals and sold houses. They are pretty no-nonsense so if you want hot chocolate and hugs, its probably not your place. However, they have smiled at me and even laughed, whoo hoo.

I ordered burner rings for $93.00. As soon as they arrived, I could tell immediately that they did not fit without even taking them out of the plastic bags. I sealed up the box exactly as I got it with the burner rings still in the original plastic without having been opened and sent it back to the company immediately with a note simply asking for my $93.00 back. Instead of a refund, the company sent the rings right back to me in a box with a one word note from Nate saying no paperwork. When I called, the person who answered said there was no Nate there and that I dont get any refund - in short, Too bad. Thanks a lot - I am out $93.00 and have four burner rings I cant use and a bad taste from being treated like absolute crap for not having done anything other than ask for my money back for something that they got back in the same condition mailed. So Universal Appliance Parts gets to send something that doesnt fit, keep my money, and tell me to pound sand. I think they are Universally Lousy and I would tell everyone to not use them ever - I feel ripped off and poorly treated as a paying customer and you should beware of being treated the same.
