Spent over $4000 here and tried to claim my 10% military discount as they advertise and provided all my military ID. After spending about 30 minutes so the cashier could apply that to my punches when I was going through my recipts I found out that I didnt get any discount. I went back later to get my discount and after going back and forth with customer service the manager showed up and said I understand that the miss was from our end but unfortunately its against policy to do that BUT we can only give you the discount on of your recipts. WHAT????You better spend some time to train your staff so they stop wasting others time.
It was hard for them to understand that I wanted sand bags not bags of sand. Sent me all over that place. Finally found them.
Today was a trying day at The Depot. Looking for a particular cleaning item, checked online to make sure it was in stock. It was. After a bit of detective work found the spot where it was supposed to be. None on the shelf but I can see it above. Nice young worker said he would call for someone to help me. Wait and wait... another worker comes to the aisle, she is working with someone else so I think great, I can ask her after she is done with that person. Unfortunately she decides to share her own personal remodeling experience with the other customer, a very long and involved story. I move a little closer so she can see I am waiting...after she finally finishes I show her what I need. She stares at it for a while then says she will get someone else to get it down for her, she is short and has a bad back. Finally the other person arrives and is able to get the product down for me. Glad I had time to wait! Everyone was nice but it just wasnt great on the service side.
This location feels a bit cramped relative to some others, but I’m grateful its there. Recently checked online for some deck screws. Showed 12 boxes in stock. Was my third Home Depot and told they weren’t available. Not unloaded from truck and to check back in a couple days. :/
Janette and Jessica in the paint department at the Beaverton Home Depot were awesome! We had a new deck built 16 months ago. Our contractor used an Olympic Elite water based semi-transparent stain in an Atlas Cedar/cedar natural. It was originally purchased at Home Depot so we thought we could take the can in and just get more. We found out that Olympic had discontinued that line of stain. Janette and Jessica suggested Behr water based semi-transparent stain. They said it has gotten good reviews. We couldnt find a color that matched the stain we had. They spent hours working with us to color match our old stain. The color came out real close. We actually like it better because it is a little more brown and a little less orange. Home Depot should consider themselves lucky to have Janette and Jessica as employees. They exemplify good customer service, and that is great to find now days.
I tried buying a microwave. I asked for assistance and the poor employee tried flagging assistance from 4 different supervisors. None of them could help. He asked if I needed the microwaves explained, and I said, No, I have one picked out, I just want to buy. He told me to go to the customer services counter and they could get it for me. Lo and behold they could not get it for me. She told me there was No way she could get it.Holy hell, there was not a single employee in that damned store that could get me the microwave! One person just needed to go in the back and get a box with a friggin microwave in it, yet no one was able to help. Help me spend my money in your store!!! Not going back
Where do I start… every-time I visit this Home Depot location almost 30% of the parking lot is filled with product which makes the parking situation terrifying.Once in the store I was looking for some things I needed for a home project. I was very excited when an employee asked me if I needed help. I starting asking questions when I realized the employee wasn’t asking because they cared to help, they didn’t have the answers. They wanted me to move so they could close the isle I was in.Beyond that, what I can say in the positive is they have a great selection of plants and they all look well cared for and healthy.I’m short… if you don’t want/need help, need a good and healthy selection of plants, and are willing to almost be killed in a parking lot this is the Home Depot for you.
They have construction going on in the back portion of their parking lot so it was very hard to find parking, even in the furthest reaches of the lot. I had trouble finding one item on my list but thankfully there was actually an abundance of employees to ask for assistance (kind of unheard of at home improvement stores). Used self-checkout and got in and out in good time.
Cliff in plumbing has been extremely helpful in solving many complex issues. He is patient and is able to pinpoint the exact fix and parts for many different plumbing issues. Very valuable for your store to have such an expert- really sets you apart.
Home Depot is pretty awesome. And most of the people there that work there will help you and are kind. Its a really big store and theres no real way to make it a quick stop. Sometimes theyre too far apart.
No surprise, clueless employees could not direct me to the location where they had over 100 outdoor electrical cord protectors in stock. No less than 4 different employees sent me from one end of the store to the other where I looked over and over and did not find the item. They could only confirm that they had them in stock but pathetically, none of them knew where they were actually stocked and none offered to help track them down. After spending 20 minutes trying to find the items I gave up. I look forward to giving my future business to Amazon and avoiding this customer hostile Enterprise.
Home Depots Appliance Delivery/Install Team cannot find street addresses. They said no one was home, but no one even knocked on the door. It would have been answered immediately. Reached out and was told were 20 minutes past our window - no installation today. They have no desire to give good customer service.
The Beaverton Home Depot located at 4401 SW 110th Avenue is definitely a flagship store. It is very large and extremely well stocked & it’s various departments seem to have many sub-sections.They often seem to gave items when other HD locations are out of stock. They definitely have an extremely well stocked section of PEX-A fittings. And the associates have always been friendly and helpful. It’s an easy commute from Tigard using B-T Hwy 217.
IT WAS A BAD IDEA! The employees walk around in a stupor! They seem to enjoy their own company because there wasnt much going on with their interaction with the customers.Dead heads would be my first impression. The fans were out of sight! I just happened to them tucked away. I know better than to return to this location. Just running a muck.
This home depot is the best. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Was able to find what I needed and self checkout made it fast.
It is always great working with Kristen in Dacor and knowing that she is fully vaccinated.
Went for some garden starts and other gardening things. They have a decent selection of plants and materials, but you can find better prices if you look. I’ve never had any trouble finding things because the employees are always helpful with questions. The selection is near unbeatable if you’re looking to get a lot of different supplies at once.I have to deduct a point because maneuvering a cart with large items through the store is challenging, especially when it’s busy. Plan to get your larger items last and plan your escape route
Went in to buy a fridge today.. you know, drop a decent amount of money. Walked around fridges for 20 minutes, and despite multiple employees walking past me, not one person offered any help. I get that I was in pajamas, but sometimes its nice to be relaxed on my day off when I plan on buying a large purchase.
Larry, the elderly gentleman in Paint department was very friendly, knowledgeable about paint and eagerly offering advice when asked.
Well, I waited in the car because he pretty much just ran in and out. He seemed happy with his purchase and the parking lot was well maintained. Everyone was staying safe, wearing their mask and making sure they kept proper distance from one another. I believe they even have masks for those to wear that left or lost theirs and, of course, hand sanitizer. Thank you Home Depot! We appreciate it!
Home Depot is one of the place that inspires new ideas to innovation or renovate. This store is well organized. Staff are very helpful. The checkout line is starting to increase.Lots of parking space.
Home Depot is always organized and reorganized to keep up with current trends. So many choices! Something for every DIYer!!
Be very wary of using Home Depot for purchasing and installing carpet. The prices they advertise on their website for both carpet and padding are NOT what you the customer will actually be offered after they come to your house to measure for their “free” installation. When asked why I was not allowed to buy carpet and padding at Home Depot’s advertised price online, available to all the public, I was told it was because that price is actually different than what the “free” installers charge and that’s how they make their money! This bait and switch of seeing the online pricing then getting told those prices are not available after paying the $50 deposit for installers to measure your home and provide a quote is not just at Beaverton location. Have spoken with folks who also had this happen to them at the Tigard location as well.
My kids love trips to home depot, there is always something to see and plenty of displays for touching. We love the garden center. The staff is always helpful.
I dont go to any other Home Depit... Great stuff Great service!
Lots of helpful staff eager to assist with directions, locating items and cutting wood.
Lovely experience. Staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
I can find what I need and great customer service they always help out !
Very friendly staff, 1 stop shop for all your home renovation needs. They have an amazing gardening section, and are really great for small projects and appliances as well. Home Depot is dog friendly too! On the down side, they are a bit pricey.
A prime location, this is one big store. In spite of that, I did not find what I came looking for recently. That is to say, they were nearly sold out of the gutter covers I needed, and so I had to go to another smaller store, where I found them. Im sure this is a good store nonetheless. The person who helped me (to discover that my item was sold out) was very helpful and courteous.
Prefer Lowe’s. Went in to buy a full Dewalt power tool set ($800). However no one was around to help. It was like a ghost town. I’d go down an isle and if I did see someone they’d quickly vanish, almost as if they were avoiding customers. They do have some items slightly less in cost than Lowe’s which pay off when buying bulk. However this are typically heavy items like Sheetrock or 4x4s pressure treated posts and you’ll expect to load them yourself as no one will be around to help or even offer.Their loss, I’m remodeling our 2,500 sq foot house as well as many other friends/family homes. Lots of money going to their competitors, not due to their pricing but a lack of customer service.Gave them a 3 as they are basically the same store and have fair pricing just non existent customer service.
What can I say, its Home Depot! Simply the best all around DIY hardware store or full service if you please kind of place. This particular location seems to have some of the friendliest employees who know what theyre talking about.
This Home Depot is in full on remodel mode. It will definitely improve the customer experience but in the meantime you will need some patience while the aisles are a bit crowded with new and existing merchandise is being moved around.
I needed help with choosing a kitchen faucet and an employee walking by stopped what he was doing and provided information and help finding the correct boxed piece, even catching that we had the wrong finish (chrome vs brushed nickel) and righting that important detail. Great guy taking pride in his work!!
Good place, but nobody knew what a hasp was. Amazing
Protip: the app will tell you what aisle and bay your product is in. Plan ahead people!
Well I thought it was going to be easy going into Home Depot to get some wood cut for my bookshelf but...oh was I wrong. First off the wood cutting service is complete bogus since the form online makes it look like you can get down to specific sizes. I guess you cant get any cuts less than 12 inches...its so sad because the smallest cut size I needed is 11.5 inches. So I basically just got some pieces of wood cut that are utterly useless because they are too big. And the cut I wanted that was larger than 12 inches was also an approximation... The person that did cut the wood was very nice, its more the company doing false advertising saying we can cut wood to make projects easier for you. Which in reality I feel like I took a perfectly good piece of wood and Home Depot ruined it with false promises of a wood cutting service. Overall pretty disappointed, since my cuts of wood are essentially garbage scraps now. Waste of time and money is what Home Depot is.
The lady at customer service was rude and put off when helping me.
I always give a 4 if I dont find what I was looking for. But, its a good store, nicely clean, arranged, friendly associates though still hard to find one when you need one, but Home Depot is the place to go. Good number of Disabled Parking and golf carts for disabled persons. Well protected from Covid.
My wife and I brought in plywood that needed an additional backer board for a project we are finishing. We found the desired thickness of backer board as well a really nice and helpful person to help my wife and I do some saw cuts. He even offered to cut the wood we brought in which was incredibly helpful to us. We ended up staying and purchasing more things for the project instead of going home to figure out how to make additional wood cuts correctly.
It was easy to find what I needed even though the place is HUGE! The isles are very well labeled! The prices are awesome! Our cashier was super friendly also which is ALWAYS very appreciated! I will shop here for ALL of my home repair and improvements from now on! Thank you for doing business right! :)
Not too crowded surprisingly but it was the dinner hour even though it was a weekend decent store Good help I mean big time compared to any other home Depot location Ive been in there were five helpful employees in here my hometown youll be lucky to get ONE good storeperson! bro
They were super helpful and friendly; and helped me find what I needed online when it wasnt in the store.
Very nice and well kept place to live and very quiet 🙂👍
Had help finding exactly what I needed, and was able to get in and out quickly.
When in doubt ask customer service. They are rockstars at their job. I had no clue where their detergeants were and was helped in a matter of minutes. Great shopping experience
My wife shopped at Home Depot. She said she was treated very well. We bought a dryer at half the cost of other places. We are very happy with the service we received.
They ALWAYS have what I want in some form or another...
I had an issue with a return from an online order in which the store associates were not able to help without the manager present. I returned to the store when the manager Josh was working and he was able to take care of the issue. He was very understanding and friendly both over the phone and in person. I appreciate your great customer service Josh!
Has everything, and you can check online to see if what you need is in stock ( it usually is!)
The cashier saved the 2I ask for help in flooring. 1 associate said is your question fast enough. I am on the computer. The other associate I ask for help. Called for someone to come to aisle #26. I waited for 8 minutes. No show up. And while l was there a customer ask me for help. So that was it for me. Also I drove all the way up to your South Beaverton store. To get my product. They did not have in salem or albany.
A really disappointing experience! This place is our go-to for any of our needs and still is but we encountered a disturbing, rude occurrence today. We witness an employee asking the supervisor for help for what we were asking and Cindy dismissed and talked down to the 2 employees under her breath while just walking away, Stating isnt that what your training is for btw NEVER CAME TO HELP THEM. No one should work under these circumstances in witch being stuck with a leader that is dismissive, disrespectful, unwilling to help or set an example especially as a leader?... and in my option when your being asked for help, you should take that as compliment .That is not a way to grow your business or set an example for your customers and dedicated employees.
Best Home Depot! Can be crowded. Most employees are more than helpful and friendly! I love that I can bring my cat while I shop.
The employees there are always very helpful and knowledgeable when I need something or have a question. I love going to Home Depot!
Friendly knowledgable employees. Great prices, as always!
Great experience. Staff was very helpful
Went in to the tool rental department, they hooked me up with a screwdriver, and helped me fix my laptop on-site. Older guy and a younger guy, very excellent work and both deserve a raise. Its Thursday, 4/1 at 3pmish whoever those fellas were.
It was ok a little disappointed in customer service i had questions about a makita saw i was trying to buy but seem to be no one in the area or to busy stocking shelves to help i did find 2 employees up front hanging out talking and one broke away to get the saw out of case for 200.00 for me I turned to ask about blades and she was gone so I figured it out myself ..so 350.00 later of course I bought other things ......ill Google it i guess ....so if you go there research what you want and need well cant guarantee youll get helped
Everything thing you need. ALWAYS...
Always have what I need!
Great customer service person verified a tool and held it for us because we were in over an hour away. Thanks Jill
We went there to rent a log splitter and was told that the two that were sitting out in the parking lot were broken and we were outta luck. We went to the next closest Home Depot and they did have one (YAY). We rented it, brought it home and started splitting the massive amount of wood we have in our yard from the past winter that took down two trees on our property. We used the splitter for about 30 minutes and then it blew a gasket of some sort so we had to take it back. It was not meant for us to split that wood today.
They opened right on time and were happy to help me find everything I needed ! Even at 6:00 a.m. this morning...
This is a busy location but Im always able to find what I need and not have to wait in line to check out
There was an associate that I had come up to and asked for some assistance and he was aggressive in telling me he’s already in the middle of a couple things and acting irritated and like I was a burden to ask a simple question. He threw aggression at me because he was frustrated with what he was dealing with. Very off putting doesn’t even deserve one star, honestly just because of that I am NEVER shopping at Home Depot again But I will give a shout out to Cliff for assisting me very kindly after that interaction. The guy that was so very rude was wearing a half apron and working in the wood section. Older dude. Dirty blonde like color hair. He should not be working there or interact with customers. Period.
Good location, smaller compared to nearby Home Depot stores. Not as chaotic and easy to maneuver around the store. Employees are very friendly and super helpful
This location is typically well maintained, however, In do experience frustration finding things. It seems like items are never in their right place.
Absolutely the worst experience!! 3 seperstr employees were rude. We asked to see 2 doors from the top shelf, so that we could pick the one with the least amount of scratches. 1 older gentlemen said they all have scratches.... We knew we were not getting a perfect door, but if we wanted the best option that we they had. We tried to order a custom door 3 times but 3 different home depots dropped the ball ordering them. We started all this back in November, amd now we decided we just to get a stock door. So we went to get a stock door and we got attitude. Then we are checking out we have an employee waiving us thru to the self check out, with our H-cart and our door. That would be fine, except in our way was a gift cat display right in the middle of the exit, and we could not pass with our cart. And that lady got mad at us and gave us attitude. as well. If we werent in a time crunch and spent months trying to acquire a door, we would have gone someplace else. It will be a very long time before I set foot back inside this Home Depot......
The phone app showed inventory in wrong locations. Low stock in key items.
I sat in the car my son-inlaw went in was out in under 10 minutes they also have great service
Do NOT order a major appliance on line from Home Depot. They give terrible customer service, incomplete/misleading information about installation requirements, and make returns a nightmare.
No one cares to greet you or offer help
They really need to staff more fully. This is the second time Ive had to wait 20+ minutes to get two small blinds cut down. The same blinds, btw. The first time they didnt cut off enough, so second trip. People here are really nice and working hard. They simply need more people. Correction: 45 minutes total waiting time.
Just wanted to give a huge shout out to the guys in the paint department! I really appreciate how they were helping all the customers including me with a positive attitude! Definitely my go to Home Depot location now, keep it up, being kind goes a long way !
In and out within a reasonable time. Always have what Im looking for.
When there to pick up plywood 4x8x1/2 cdx 53.00 check Pacific lumber 31.00They are set there prices to high, just because they can??Also got free delivery check around for a better price 40 sheets $1240.00 home depot charged for a delivery and total would have been $2120.00 you do the math. Bad deal
Other than the usual trying to find an employee is like an easter egg hunt. But they are providing masks and hand sanitizer so thats good.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Been trying to call since 7:30 am. For one the automated response system is terrible and transfers you to the incorrect people. Two, Ive had several associates answer the phone and then hang it up. Im canceling my large concrete order and shopping with Lowes from now on.
It is Home Depot. During Covid...any excuse to reduce customer service when customer service was already lacking. For over fifteen minutes I tried to get someone in an orange apron to acknowledge me. Finally, I got someones attention. They were out of the spare battery that was supposed to come free with my drill kit. The salesman called his supervisor to see what he could do. I cant believe what I overheard from his side of the conversation..he didnt bother to walk away and just made the call standing right there. He asked if he was supposed to tell me that I was just out of luck or what?.. I had him put it back and said I would just buy it somewhere else. Hello Amazon?.. As I was walking away, the clerk did ask if I would like him to check another store. He did. I drove across town and made my purchase. It is annoying when a retail store pretty much forces you to fight them, to get them to take your money. When management doesnt care about the customer or getting a sale it is understandable why the sales teams attitude is so underwhelming. Yet, they still have the gall to call themselves Customer Service Representatives...
Every time I visit this place, Im half expecting their theme song to be playing non-stop over the loud speakers.Bought a couple lightbulbs and a step ladder for future purposes. And for those who are wondering - because a friend of mine had to ask someone that worked there, no, they dont sell any pillows.
Great place not many people. Helpful staff!
Been shopping in here for years and have always liked the people and the service. However, I don’t think I will be going back for a while. Inadequate attention to social distancing and employees allowing customers without masks, even with multiple complaints. Did not feel safe at all shopping there. Recommend curbside or delivery
The Pro Desk at this Home Depot is amazing. They always treat me well, are courteous and go out of their way to go the extra mile for me.
The disorganization in fasteners and lumber is unacceptable. Numerous times I have checked stock online to see inventory, arrive in store and no one is able to produce the items. Recently I needed something from the common boards area, the floor level space was empty, unstocked. In store inventory says there should be 62. Found the bundle up on a top rack, no one was comfortable operating the lift to bring them down. Waited over 30 minutes.
Stopped to use the bathroom.
Was nice and big. I will say it was jam packed. There was NO social distancing it was just to packed. That aside the store was clean and workers very nice.
Good luck trying to get any help at home depot they specialised in avoiding customers
Roger and Anaie in the paint department are AWESOME!! 5 stars. Amazing customer service. Always helping me out very quickly and efficient and careful for my projects. Will return constantly!
4 out of 5 times the Beaverton Home Depot is OUT of what I need.
Of all the locations around the greater Portland area this is by far my favorite, being a 10-99 contractor believe me when I say I frequent Home Depot ALOT.
Pretty much anything you want you can find it
They have many people to help when needed. I have to share a bit about William. He is a customer service representative I believe and I had an exchange on a large item. He helped get it out of my truck, locate the replacement and helped load it back in my truck. Personalized service st its best. Thank you William and Home Depot.
My only complaint is how packed with people it usually is. Takes a long time to get out of there. Friendly staff, and good service. Decent prices too.
Love the convenience, but there never seems to be enough staff.
Two of the associates near the Pro Desk were extremely rude! Everyone else that helped us was very nice and polite, but those two women.....
