Missed communication. Not business owners fault.
Wayne has worked on several pieces of my power equipment over the last couple years, mower, pressure washer, etc. and done truly excellent work. He did a list of repairs on the mower last fall which didnt cross my mind until I got it out this spring and it started right up and actually looked nearly new because he had cleaned it up so well along with the repairs. I dont leave a lot of reviews but in this case he is more than deserving of this.
Wayne is a professional, he was prompt with his responses and provided great info and a good price. I was consulted with on every step of the repair before any work was done. I was provided pick up and drop off services and was given a great post repair consultation and test ride. Wayne was very thorough, he provided me with a spreadsheet detailing all of the issues with my bike. I recommend using PDX_450R...5 Stars
Wayne knows his stuff! Trx450 fixed on time, for the quoted price and noticed other items needing attention. Great prompt responses and always kept me up to date. Best experience ever and will use and recommend to everyone! Keep up the great job Wayne
Wayne took on fixing my Stihl trimmer which wasnt necessarily his specially. His turn around was faster than his original estimate as was final cost that was slightly below the estimate. Overall he did a great job at a reasonable price.
I had a hard time finding a small engine repair company that would actually call me back. He was professional from the day I called him, till the point of the job being done. He even follow through six months later to see how my lawnmower is doing. I highly recommend him.
Warning do not take your stuff to PDX 450R! Wayne the owner told me one week for a simple carb clean and valve adjustment and it would be ready for my trip next weekend. Found out the day before leaving he had not even started on it. When the bike was finally done, the cost was nearly double what he originally quoted me. I took the bike on one trip and half way through the ride the carb started acting up with the same symptoms. When I got home I pulled the carb off and found the top cover plate for the slide missing and the carb full of sand! I text Wayne and he admitted the cover was on the bike when I dropped it off, but explained he did not have it, and implied the bolts must have fallen out or I somehow lost it. I am now out almost 500$ for a carb clean and have a bike that is worse off than when I brought it to his shop. Bottom line is go somewhere else.
