Very stressful shopping trip at joanns! First off all they don’t have enough employees on the floor as I had to wait 10 minutes before finding one… then I asked to use the bathroom as they require a key but they told me no I have to wait for the other person to get out even though clearly there is another perfectly good open bathroom personally recommend shopping online where you don’t get harassed by the employees here.

I pass two other craft stores to get to this one. It is worth the drive. The woman at the fabric counter is fantastic. Anything you need to know she can help with and gives very pragmatic advice about sewing machines.

The old lady with short hair who works there is extremely condescending when I’ve asked her questions. Seems like a racial thing as I’m in there often enough and have seen her interact with white people in a different manner.I saw someone else say there is always a message broadcasted about costumers needing help in her aisle, when she’s the only one there, this also happens to me. I feel racially profiled while shopping.The younger cashiers are always very kind and helpful and complete opposite of this old mean lady. Only have had bad experiences with that old lady and the racial profiling.

Today, we have the best experience getting fabric for my 11 yo granddaughters school sewing project.I knew I was going to let her lead and to my surprise she had a pretty good idea of what she wanted.We were very lucky to talk with Nora at this location. She was extremely friendly and patient with me and my granddaughters questions and requests (my GD didnt want polyester because it pollute the oceans), and Nora not only was very empathetic of her requests but also help us calculate the amount of fabric needed and gave us some ideas for patterns.This experience made a whole difference in this project and even motivated me to get back to sewing again. Thanks Nora!

Why are all the nice fabrics online only now? Is this one location temporarily or just how it is going to be now? The silks seem way over priced online and I dont even get to examine them beforehand?! Really not impressed with anything other than the friendly staff dealing with my bewildered self.

I was looking for a lighter weight material that would still block the light. I found exactly what I needed! And they have some great sales and coupons right now.

EVERY SINGLE TIME Ive gone here Ive been profiled. When I am in an area they broadcast over the loud speaker that assistance is needed in that area, and Im the only person in that area and havent asked for assistance. Theres ONE person thats engaging and helpful. I wouldnt even go to this store except its the only one in my area. Its not fair to treat people like that, my money is just as good as anybody elses. I wish I knew the proper channels to go about making a complaint because I definitely would. Id give this place 0 stars if I could.

The staff are always so friendly. The discounts are a bit confusing to use and overall its a little expensive.

A small but otherwise clean and compact JoAnns. They were understaffed which seems to be the case for every JoAnns Ive ever visited but this was the first where I spent 10 minutes attempting to get checked out. Ive been to stores that have implemented bells at checkout for this exact reason and do hope this location does something similar.

Actually had a really good experience here tonight. Yeah, theyre prices can be on the higher side but they have a ton of coupons available. Whats stand out though was the service. I had the nicest store rep who I think was a higher up but didnt bat an eyelash with my silly questions and was kind and patient.

I went there to find some fabric for my latest cosplay. It didnt take long to find, and the lady at the cutting counter was very friendly and helpful. Turned out I had perfect timing, as the fabric wasnt on sale that day, so I was able to use my 50% off coupon!

The employees helped me find the all item I was looking for and they were great!

Customer service is the worst! This is my third time at this store and I have had the worst customer service each time. I will go back to Michael’s! At least they are willing to help without it seeming like you’re bothering them. If you don’t like your job then work somewhere else!!!!!

It was a little confusing, the way the fabrics prices are marked is not very clear. Very few unfriendly associates. Did not feel welcome at all, I felt they were more inclined to assist a specific ratial group. Ive been here before and I felt the exact same way; since then, Ive try to avoid coming here, but it was on my way and I thought Ill give it another try. Regreted it all the way.

This store is really big and has everything for crafting! There was a large selection of baking tools as well.

I got a super deal (75% off) on a hard-to-find deluxe wall calendar + an extra coupon for 20% off my entire purchase. So, an $18 calendar cost less than $4! 🤗 And it was available for in-store or curbside pickup. 💚

Joannes is always fun. What i didnt like was that i got up and came out to get the 50% on the clearanxed spring decor hoping and hoping that the line had reached the 70% mark, that all clearance lines do, i walk in and its not only not 70% but it had gone from 50% to 40%!!

Clean store. Im a yarn girl, so the yarn selection was ok, though sparce, but they do have colors I cannot find at Michaels!

JOANNs was lovely they greeted us upon entry and were very nice overall. We went in to buy a bunch of chunky yarn for a blanket project and it cracked me up that the largest size bag they had that could fit the yarn, without giving us a bazillion bags, was two large white trash bags. That honestly made my day

Used to shop here often and loved the staff, most of the good ones are gone unfortunately. To me that shows upper management does not value their employees...... but my reason for one star is the fact that google states the store is open until 9Pm on Thursday so I drive 30 min and get there 2 min after 8pm and they are closed.....it is not that hard to update the hours on google, also I guess the virus only comes out after 8 👎🏻

Inventory needs to be replenished. Its a small store version so it cant accommodate the selection that can be found in the larger store. Many JOANN items are only offered on line and are not available in stores, such as clear artistic stamps. Ill shop at your competitors stores.

1:15 on a Sunday, no one wants to answer a question. I was told I’m busy ask.... when I get to the register, an item I was expecting to use a coupon on, was on sale, even though there were zero signs saying the products in the line were on sale in the 6 shelves of it. When I asked what my 50% of applied to she said... I had blue know what the register total says. I explained that there were no posted signs says the product line was on sale. Had I known, 1-there was something else in the line I wanted and would have bought had I known, 2-I wouldn’t have expected to use a coupon on something already on sale... lady was zero in customer service. The company would be better off with self check out if that’s the caliber of people they are hiring. I won’t step foot in there again. This isn’t the first time... just my tolerance to it hadn’t had time to build up.

I placed an order for some fleece online and when I went to pick it up I was missing one of the yards I ordered. Long story short they didnt have any more of that fleece and I had to swap it for another one. It did take longer than expected and it was inconvenient but the 5 star review is for how helpful and accommodating thr sales associate, Nora, was in getting it resolved.

It was nice and tidy, it felt no different than before COVID. Everyone friendly and willing to help you if you needed it.

This store specific of JOANN Fabrics is a little smaller comparing it to the other stores. Nonetheless, it have a wide variety of fabric to choose from and if your into Cricut this store is a mecca for it; from machines to tools and accessories. The staff are helpful and friendly. Parking is not a problem as they have a big lot.

Got some cute fabric for a twirly dress and table runner AND found the perfect piece to make a tunic for my new leggings.

Maddie was absolutely AMAZING!! My coupon wasnt coming up so she used her copy of the same coupon. Maddies customer service, smile, and happy attitude gets her 5/5 star reviews!So why 4 stars? Well, I bought a whole bolt of fabric, all 20 yards. The employees at the cut counter were too lazy to unroll it to make sure it was 20 yards and just went off what the website said. They said the way the fabric was cut is not the way we cut our fabric so it must be from the factory, and it came in on the 9th so its brand new. When in reality they rip the fabric, not cut it. Theres no way to tell if there was some cut from it other than to unwrap it and see. 3/5.Thanks to Maddies customer service, JoAnns in Beaverton gets 4/5. Good job.

My wife was totally creeped out here. They have some very sketchy people in this store. I see the need for security. Every time my wife turned around there was this woman behind her. She was pretending to be browsing the merchandise but was painfully obvious. My wife was so freaked out she called me to come get her and left without purchasing anything. And she was there to get things for our sons upcoming birthday. It put us behind quite a bit. Not to mention having to drive faster out for party supplies.

Great selection! There were out of cotton when we went due to everyone making masks I am guessing, but great and helpful customer service!

Nice store but lacking in some departments, probably because of the epidemic. Some of the yarn was not in stock and when ordering, it may take a while before products come home.

The store in Beaverton is always out of select yarns, with too many empty racks.

Its a pretty decent place to shop for all your little crafts and projects. It has a wide variety of fabric and offers many ways to use such fabric. Joanns also offers a wide variety for many other types of projects as well, such as painting, paper crafting, food crafts, kids crafts (and toys!) And many, many other things. Its a great place and is very well organized. The staff tries to keep the place clean as possible, which is very nice and makes it easier to shop around for things. Joanns is also pet friendly, so feel free to bring your furry friends! :)The staff is pretty friendly too.

The people I asked questions of was helpful. Older lady was crummy. Short on supplies. Store was neat.

Workers acted like they didnt want to be there!

Staff at this location are obviously very unhappy. They are unfriendly and rude. I have witnessed this in varying degrees for quite some time, but today was the worst. I had to make a return trip to correct some things from earlier in the day. On the second trip, the cashier would not help me with return/exchange of cut fabric because he doesnt work the cutting counter. I had purchased 5 cuts of fabric of 1/4 yard each. Got them home and 3 out of 5 were cut so crookedly that they were not a full 1/4 yard for the width of the fabric. Took them back to have them recut. The clerk at the cutting counter immediately took them and argued that they were, indeed, 1/4 yard each. As if I want to make a second trip to the store to deal with their error. I tried to explain that they were not, because they were crooked and in places measured less than 9 wide (1/4 yard). I had to show her with a tape measure! She angrily recut the three pieces and literally tossed them at me. She then began rolling my rejected pieces into remnants as another customer stood and waited for her items to be cut. The customer very politely asked the clerk if she could cut her items. The clerk replied with a loud sigh and told her when Im done with this. Aside from the rudness of the staff, this stores fabric selection is very limited and the lines for the cutting counter and/or the cashiers are often so long I just give up. Very disappointing all around.

Purchased a $400.00 cricut on line for pick up. Took a week for them to have it ready and when I called to check on it three different time they were very rude and hostile. My son went to pick it up for me after a week of waiting and they would not give it to him because he did not have his ID on him which is understandable which I do no have a problem with at all. The problem I have is they way they treated him which was Rude hostile and uncalled for. NEVER EVER purchase from this store again. This is not how you treat your customers PERIOD.

Unfortunately for this local, neighborhood Jo-Ann Fabrics, they are not ready to reopen in a time of COVID-19. Beware for those deciding to come into the store during this chapter: lack of stocked items (many bare shelves), no one available for questions on the floor, and absolutely horrific customer service during check out. Expecting more from you, Jo-Ann!

The staff is very friendly and knowledgable, and theres a large selection of fabrics to choose from. Everyone gets really excited to hear what project youre getting materials for, and even discuss ways to make it easier to work with more challenging things.Definitely worth signing up for their text/email coupons too! They always have new ones coming out and makes crafting more affordable.

I use to hate going here with my Mom, it felt like we were here forever, now as an adult I see why! I went for buttons got way more than buttons 😂🤣 They always have great sales and now they have an app with coupons and a point reward system. The buttons where $1.99 each, and they rang up as .75 each so that was a nice surprise!! This particular store was nice and clean and the cashier was funny.

I am so so so grateful for the employees at this store. I came prepared with an idea and a poor sketch of what I needed to make my dream. The young woman at the fabric counter took time to help me make sure that all my measurement were correct. Further, she helped me find other locations that had all the fabric I needed (because I needed minimal pieces) and then to top off the excellent help - She told me that if I waited a couple of days I would be able to pick up all I needed for 50% of what I would pay that day.... She wrote down all the product codes! What a way to make me love shopping at Joanns. The store was clean and had an abundance of crafty options.

I like the yarn that they carry, the issue is how much of it they end up having - 2 skeins of one color isnt doing me much good if I want to crochet a throw using only that yarn. (And Im not talking about clearance yarn, this is popular yarn that they should definitely have in back stock - but they dont.)Aside from that, both of their price check scanners werent working and it was hard to find anyone to help me.

Worst customer service ever from the cutting counter to check out. The employees I interacted with were very hostile and aggressive and made my whole shopping experience negative. I love shopping at Joanns but this location left a sour taste in my mouth. Will most definitely be going to other locations. Workers are clearly miserable and like to take it out on customers.

Small but has all the necessary stuff for sewing projects. Just not as much variety of fabric compares to other stores but its clean.

An above average JOANN but not so above average that you feel bad about yourself whenever you go in there. They usually have exactly what I need or want. More too, surprisingly. The world doesnt revolve around me or so Ive be told, but it might around you. Maybe the person reading this IS the sun, I wouldnt know. Anyways, theyll have what you need probably at this JOANN.

Once again I got home without an item that I paid for. This has happened to me at least five times at several different Joann Fabric stores. I will never shop at one again. Also, watch your gift cards as the cashier will tell you that it only has $10 on it when you know it was for $20. Then they offer to take the card and throw it away for you. Dishonest practices is what I have experienced.

Very clean and organized store. The signage is extremely helpful, I was needing food crafting, looked up, and high signs told me exactly where everything was. Found everything I needed, and some things I didnt. I did notice they had classes, but have not attended any.

I love Joann and shop for all my crafting with this company almost exclusively. Often, though, Im dissapointed by the staff and this has been an issue since I was a child shopping alongside my mum. Are they understaffed and over worked? Is it a culture coming down from management? Often times the workers seem to be annoyed and upset. The other day I saw one of the cashiers throw a credit card back at a customer because she had to go back to the cutting counter to check the length of a fabric cut that had been inputted incorrectly. All of us in line, shocked, commented about it to each other. Its not okay to treat people like that and I can only imagine how upset the worker had to be to act out like that. As a customer it makes me uncomfortable, sad, and not wanting to approach the workers with questions and help. I hope Joann can make the changes necessary to create a better culture in their stores.

I will go back.

I love this Joannes. Always very helpful and courteous. And really someone has trouble shopping because someone else is chewing gum? You might just want to stay in your house if thats all it takes for you to be annoyed or have trouble functioning in society. People will complain about anything. Ive had great experiences at this location. I even made a friend in line here. How cool!!!

Needed some fabric for a pattern I had but didnt really know what I was doing. I asked for help and they measured and gave me what they said was exactly what I needed. I cut the pattern but had way too much extra fabric. I went back to try and get my money back and while they did do some they said they couldnt do it all. I lost about $20 and would have been more if I hadnt tried to go back. My fault for not knowing what was up and trusting them but it shouldnt be an excuse to take advantage of customers.

Joanns is a mother load of fabric and everything sewing. They do have other aisles designed for jewelry and knitting crafts however the majority of the store is devoted to sewing. Joanns is always running generous sales and continuously has coupons on their website, their app and in their flyer. With such good deals you can keep coming back for more interesting supplies for your next craft project.

Wide selection of fabrics in all types of textures. Buttons, clasp repair, even wedding cake decorating stuff. Fun store and helpful staff.

I could spend hours here. Always clean and sales are good. The staff has a few sourfaces but most are friendly. Lately my material hasnt been cut straight and I have been shorted several times so dont just assume they will do it right.

This is a small store with overworked staff. I went in thinking I could use a coupon on an item and it turns out I couldnt. The item was 160 embroidery flosses. I thought to ask after I pulled all the flosses (my mistake) and I was hoping there was another coupon I could use, with some help figuring out which one would work. Instead she said you should have asked before getting all those out AND WALKED AWAY FROM THE REGISTER. I put back 140/160 flosses, because it was clear they didnt need the additional stress of putting then away.

Drove all the way from ne after going to 2 other stores with insane long lines. Was told that the lady in front of us was the last one in. There is no good reason for you to be reducing your hours like this its just bad customer service. You have lost my business and my wifes permanently.

Generally always shop at Joann. I activily build dioramas for kids. First tine shopping this location. Cashier at front counter just now has assured Ill not be returning here. No baskets available so I used a box that was on sale to carry all my diorama and hobby materials. Told cashier this and she says so I have to put away, and stared at me. I considered buying the basket - but thought no, not going to let her mood effect my days for the kids. Considered but not buying any of the supplies - but no again, not going to let her darken my day.Joann management - disappointed. Is really so hard to smile, or if not that even not say anything at all? Should I really expect attitude. Sorry you dont have baskets.

As the name suggests, lots of fabrics to choose from. Decent array of other craft supplies. Not as big as Hobby Lobby, but similar to a Michaels.

I can almost always get what I need for a good price at Joanns. I appreciate being able to stack my coupons
